| CVE-2026-62856 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 7.7 High |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox application. Prior to version 1.8.226, the polycast/receive endpoint fails to escape SQL LIKE wildcards in supplied channel names, while channel authorization applies only to names with specific prefixes. An unauthenticated attacker with a guest session and valid CSRF token can submit a wildcard channel name to retrieve matching notification events intended for other users. Notification payload generation lacks a corresponding access check, exposing conversation message content, identifiers, URLs, and notification HTML across users and mailboxes. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.226. | ||||
| CVE-2026-62851 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 4.3 Medium |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.226, the search-by-number shortcut in ConversationsController::search() resolves a user-controlled ticket number without applying the mailbox filter or view policy used by the normal search path. An authenticated non-admin agent who is a member of at least one mailbox can request /search with a hash-prefixed ticket number and use the 302 Location header to confirm that a conversation exists in a different mailbox the agent cannot access and learn its internal conversation and folder identifiers. The destination conversation remains protected, so this issue does not disclose message content, attachments, or customer data. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.226. | ||||
| CVE-2026-62855 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 4.4 Medium |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.225, the administrator-only App Logs viewer accepts Laravel-encrypted folder and file parameters whose constructed path is checked only as a raw string. An administrator who also knows the APP_KEY can supply traversal segments that the filesystem normalizes outside storage/logs. The /app-logs/app route can then read local files accessible to the PHP worker, including environment files, source files, credentials, tokens, and operating-system files. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.225. | ||||
| CVE-2026-62852 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 6.5 Medium |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.226, RealtimeConvNewThread checks only general mailbox access and does not apply the conversation-level restriction for users configured to see only assigned conversations. A restricted authenticated user can subscribe to predictable conv.<conversation_id> Polycast channels for other conversations in the same mailbox. New event payloads can expose complete replies, internal notes, recipient addresses, conversation state, assignee data, attachment names, and attachment URLs containing valid download tokens. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.226. | ||||
| CVE-2026-62850 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 5.3 Medium |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.225, the administrative tools.php maintenance endpoint is reachable without an appropriate authentication or access-control boundary. Response differences for attacker-controlled path values disclose whether arbitrary directories and files exist on the server. The same endpoint validates application-key and database-password candidates without rate limiting, per-session throttling, or a CAPTCHA, allowing unrestricted guessing attempts against application secrets. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.225. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85744 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 5.4 Medium |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.227, the conversation_merge action records a failed authorization check for the target conversation in response['msg'] and then clears that value inside the source-conversation loop. An authenticated agent can merge a conversation they control into a target conversation in a mailbox they cannot access. The operation injects threads, attachments, and audit records into the unauthorized target and deletes the source conversation, but it does not disclose the target's existing contents. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.227. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85742 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 7.5 High |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.230, a pre-authenticated attacker can place HTML in a failed-login email value that is copied through monitored user activity into a queued SendAlert job. If alert delivery fails, the serialized payload is stored in failed_jobs and the administrator job-details endpoint renders it after a blacklist sanitizer that leaves executable event-handler attributes. When an administrator opens /system/ajax-html/job_details/{id} as a top-level page, the raw fragment lacks the normal layout policy and attacker-controlled JavaScript can perform same-origin administrator actions. Logs Monitoring for users, a failed alert email job, queue failure storage, and top-level administrator interaction are all required; the normal modal path is not affected in the tested configuration. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.230. | ||||
| CVE-2026-62854 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 7.6 High |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.225, a user who can edit a mailbox signature can combine a scriptable file uploaded through /uploads/upload with nested tag fragments that bypass Helper::stripDangerousTags(). The resulting external script is served from the same origin, so the script-src 'self' policy permits it when another user opens the affected mailbox reply editor or new-ticket page. The script executes with the victim's FreeScout privileges and can read visible data and perform same-origin actions. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.225. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85743 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 8.2 High |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.230, multiple outbound paths in Helper::downloadRemoteFile(), Helper::checkPort(), Helper::sanitizeRemoteUrl(), MailboxesController.php, and ModulesController.php do not consistently enforce a sink-level restricted-host policy. An authenticated administrator, or another authenticated user permitted to change mailbox connection settings or trigger module update or installation paths, can supply attacker-controlled URLs or hosts. The independent download and port-test sinks can reach encoded or otherwise uncovered loopback and internal addresses. The redirect-validation bypass additionally requires a configured whitelist that permits the original and final hosts while a restricted internal host appears only as an intermediate redirect hop. No unauthenticated SSRF path is established. The server can consequently contact loopback and internal services, provide a blind internal port oracle, and retrieve internal HTTP responses into application-controlled download sinks. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.230. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103984 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 6.5 Medium |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.231, when limit_user_customer_visibility is enabled, the load_customer_info AJAX action performs a global lookup using an attacker-controlled customer email and checks only whether the agent can access a separately supplied mailbox. A non-admin agent can name an accessible mailbox and retrieve an unrelated customer's rendered profile without invoking CustomerPolicy::view(). The response can expose names, email addresses, phone numbers, company and job information, postal addresses, social profiles, websites, and confidential internal agent notes. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.231. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103985 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-11-06 | 7.1 High |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.231, the profile form exposes the only_assigned_tickets permission to its non-admin owner, and UsersController::profileSave() adds or removes User::PERM_ONLY_ASSIGNED_TICKETS without checking that the editor is an administrator. A restricted agent can uncheck the option, or submit an ordinary profile save that omits it, to remove the administrator-imposed restriction. The agent can then read and modify conversations assigned to other agents in every mailbox they already belong to. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.231. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107393 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-10-14 | 6.1 Medium |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.235, when APP_CLOUDFLARE_IS_USED is enabled, FreeScout trusts an unvalidated CF-Connecting-IP header during failed login attempts and stores the spoofed value in the activity log. LogsMonitor inserts the value into an administrator alert email without HTML escaping, allowing injected HTML to execute when an administrator opens the email. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.235. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53596 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-07-21 | 5.3 Medium |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.224, the FreeScout helpdesk application does not enforce rate limiting on the file upload endpoint. Any user can flood the server with upload requests, leading to database overload and potential denial of service for all users. Version 1.8.224 contains a fix. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53593 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-07-21 | 8.8 High |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.224, the denylist that neutralizes dangerous file uploads (`Helper::$restricted_extensions`) is incomplete: it does not cover the `.pht` extension. The authenticated upload endpoint `POST /uploads/upload` (`SecureController@upload`) stores files with their original extension into the web-accessible directory `storage/app/public/uploads/` (served at `/storage/uploads/`). On the standard Apache + `libapache2-mod-php` deployment, the default handler `<FilesMatch ".+\.ph(ar|p[3457]?|t|tml)$">` executes `.pht`, so **any authenticated agent can upload a `.pht` web shell and run arbitrary commands as the web-server user** (`www-data`). This is a direct bypass of the fix for CVE-2025-48471, which added `phtml`/`phar` but not `pht` (nor `phtm`, `phps`). Version 1.8.224 contains an updated fix. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53595 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-07-21 | 9.4 Critical |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.224, the public endpoint `POST /user-setup/{hash}/{invite_sent_at}` (`OpenController@userSetupSave`) selects the target account solely by its `invite_hash` column, then overwrites that account's email and password and logs in as it. No authentication, cookie, or prior session is required. After a user activates, FreeScout sets `invite_hash` to the empty string. On MySQL and MariaDB, `VARCHAR` equality ignores trailing spaces, so a single URL-encoded space (`%20`) matches the stored empty string and selects the lowest-id activated user. The expiry guard decrypts `invite_sent_at` with the target's password hash, but `Helper::decrypt` returns its raw input unchanged when decryption fails. A plaintext numeric value such as `9999999999` therefore passes the time-to-live check without any secret. The result is that an anonymous attacker sets the email and password of the lowest-id activated FreeScout account (a support agent, or an administrator if one was added by invitation) and authenticates as that account. Version 1.8.224 contains a fix. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53592 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-07-21 | 4.6 Medium |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. A Prototype Pollution condition in the `getQueryParam` function `/public/js/main.js` and was addressed in version 1.8.139 by blocking URL query keys matching the pattern `__proto__`. However, this mitigation is incomplete: it only filters top-level `__proto__` keys and fails to sanitize nested forms such as `b[__proto__][polluted]=PWNED`. As a result, an attacker-controlled URL query string can still write into `Object.prototype` on any page that loads `main.js`. Version 1.8.223 contains a updated fix. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53594 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-07-21 | 4.9 Medium |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. FreeScout's `Manage -> Logs -> App Logs` feature uses the bundled `rap2hpoutre/laravel-log-viewer` override to decrypt a user-supplied file identifier and then pass the resolved path to Laravel's download response. Prior to version 1.8.224, the path resolution logic accepts any existing absolute path before applying the intended `storage/logs` restriction. As a result, an attacker who can access the App Logs route and forge a valid Laravel-encrypted `dl` parameter can download arbitrary server-local files readable by the PHP process, not just log files. Version 1.8.224 contains a fix. | ||||
| CVE-2026-45295 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-07-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.219, the open tracking endpoint `GET /thread/read/{conversation_id}/{thread_id}` allows unauthenticated attackers to enumerate valid conversation and thread IDs, and modify thread state (`opened_at` timestamp) without any authentication. Version 1.8.219 patches the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48812 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-07-20 | 7.5 High |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.221, FreeScout's attachment download route skips token authentication for any attachment whose `token_type` is set to `1` (`TOKEN_TYPE_LEGACY`). Because this route is unauthenticated and the file path is deterministic, an unauthenticated remote attacker can download any attachment that was created by an older version of FreeScout without possessing a valid token or session. Version 1.8.221 contains a fix. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53591 | 1 Freescout Helpdesk | 1 Freescout | 2026-07-20 | 8.6 High |
| FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.223, an unauthenticated attacker can inject messages into any existing support conversation by sending a single email to the helpdesk's public address with a crafted `In-Reply-To` header. No credentials, tokens, or prior access are required. The injected message is rendered in the agent UI as a legitimate customer reply, the conversation is automatically reopened, and the `last_reply_from` field is set to the attacker's identity. Version 1.8.223 contains a fix. | ||||
