CVSS v3.1 |
| The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 via the `data[secondary_groupids]` parameter of the `wpforo_action_profile_update` POST handler. This is due to a type-confusion flaw in the secondary_groupids authorization guard within the `Members::update()` function in `classes/Members.php`, where casting a scalar CSV string (e.g. `"0,1"`) with `(array)` before `array_map('intval', …)` and `array_filter()` produces an empty array — causing the guard's outer conditional, and the else-branch that would otherwise strip the field from the update, to be bypassed entirely — while `encode()`/`decode()` downstream correctly explodes the original CSV and persists the attacker-supplied group IDs to `wp_wpforo_profiles.secondary_groupids`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to escalate their forum privileges to wpForo Administrator by injecting the privileged Admin group ID, granting access to the Forum Accesses editor and the ability to rewrite forum-wide capability policies for all members and edit arbitrary content owned by other users. Exploitation requires the attacker to have at least 3 approved wpForo posts to satisfy the plugin's default `min_number_posts_to_edit_account` antispam gate, along with a valid wpforo nonce obtained from their own account profile form. |
| The Registration Form for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation due to a missing allow-list check in the FormHandler::validate_checkout_fields() function in versions up to, and including, 1.1.4 The My Account registration path (validate_fields()) validates a submitted 'tgwcfb/user-roles' value against the form's configured allowed roles, but the checkout registration path (validate_checkout_fields(), hooked to woocommerce_after_checkout_validation) stores the raw $_POST['user_roles'] value in $this->valid_data without any allow-list enforcement, and add_user_data() then injects that value into woocommerce_new_customer_data as the new account's role. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to elevate their privileges to Administrator by supplying a user_roles=administrator parameter when creating an account during checkout, resulting in full site takeover. |
| The AutomatorWP – No-Code Workflow Automation, Integration & Webhooks Plugin, now with AI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 6.0.4. This is due to missing privilege-ceiling validation in the `create_user()` function within the anonymous-user action (and equally in the Create User and Add/Change Role WordPress-integration actions), which verify only that the submitted role exists via `automatorwp_get_editable_roles()` without confirming the role falls at or below the acting context's privilege level — allowing attacker-controlled trigger tag data (e.g., a `{comment_author}` tag bound to the Role option) to supply any role, including `administrator`, unchallenged. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create a new administrator-role account tied to an attacker-controlled email address, receiving the generated password via WordPress's new-user notification email and thereby gaining full administrative access to the site. Exploitation requires the site to have an anonymous automation configured with the Role option bound to a dynamic trigger tag such as `{comment_author}`, and is triggered when a site administrator performs the routine action of approving a comment — an action that provides no in-UI indication that it will mint a new privileged account from the comment author field. |
| The WPJAM Basic plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions up to, and including, 7.1 This is due to the WPJAM_User_Signup::signup() function unpacking attacker-supplied `data[args]` from the AJAX POST body and merging it via PHP array union into the payload passed to WPJAM_User::create(), whose internal whitelist (wpjam_pick) explicitly preserves the `role` key before it is handed to wp_insert_user(). The endpoint is registered as wp_ajax_nopriv_{provider}-signup with a nonce that is emitted on the public login page. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to elevate their privileges to Administrator by creating a new user with an attacker-chosen role, provided a social-login provider is registered and open registration is enabled. |
| The iLeads SMS Gateway by Exsile WordPress plugin before 2.0.0 does not check capabilities or nonces in several AJAX actions that update a site option chosen by the request, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to change arbitrary WordPress options and escalate to administrator, for example by enabling registration with administrator as the default role. |
| A flaw was found in the Trainer v2 TrainJob API. A user with permissions to create TrainJobs can exploit this by injecting `valueFrom.secretKeyRef` into environment variable definitions. This allows them to read and exfiltrate sensitive information (secrets) from the namespace, leading to a privilege escalation. This occurs when the TrainJob Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is broader than the Secret read RBAC. |
| Vulnerability in the Helidon product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: OIDC). Supported versions that are affected are 4.0.0-4.5.5 and 27.0.0. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Helidon. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Helidon, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Helidon accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Helidon accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.9 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N). |

| Local privilege escalation in `SmartUpdate.exe` and `SmartExecute.exe` in INFINITT Healthcare Co., Ltd. INFINITT PACS allows a local low-privileged attacker to execute arbitrary commands with administrator privileges via modification of a world-writable `execlist.txt` command manifest that is processed during application updates. |
| Adobe Photoshop versions Photoshop CC 2019, and Photoshop 2020 have a security bypass vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to privilege escalation. |
| The system fails to properly enforce scope authorization when the `authorize_all_scopes` configuration is enabled. This allows applications using the client credentials grant type to obtain all API scopes, including sensitive internal and console scopes, without requiring explicit authorization, bypassing intended access controls.
Exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to privilege escalation, enabling unprivileged clients to perform unauthorized administrative actions, access confidential organizational data, and potentially achieve full account takeover in deployments where the `authorize_all_scopes` configuration deviates from its default disabled state. |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in Apache Syncope.
AuthProfile self-updates allow non-admin users to configure impersonation for WA surrogate authentication.
This issue affects Apache Syncope: from 3.0.12 through 3.0.16, from 4.0.0-M0 through 4.0.8, from 4.1.0-M0 through 4.1.3.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.9 / 4.1.4, which fix this issue. |

| The Cool Media Filter WordPress plugin through 1.0.1 does not perform any capability or nonce check when updating the capabilities of a role, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to grant their own role administrator capabilities and take over the site. |
| The WCFM Membership WordPress plugin before 2.12.1 does not verify that payment was made before completing a paid membership, allowing any authenticated Subscriber/Customer to activate a paid vendor membership for free and gain the marketplace vendor role. |
