CVSS v3.1 |
| IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote attacker to perform unauthenticated brute-force attacks to obtain valid credentials due to improper restriction of excessive authentication attempts. |
| Chartbrew is an open-source web application that can connect directly to databases and APIs and use the data to create charts. Prior to 5.2.3, public dashboard passwords were stored in plaintext, accepted through a URL query parameter, and checked without effective attempt throttling. The vulnerable surface is public password-protected dashboard storage and validation routes. An unauthenticated attacker targets a public password-protected dashboard and repeatedly submits candidate passwords or obtains password-bearing server or proxy logs. Unlimited online guesses enable brute force, while cleartext storage and URL transport expose the secret in application storage and server or proxy access logs. The target must be a public dashboard with password protection enabled. Even failed attempts reveal chart count and configuration without the password; a recovered password grants access to the protected dashboard and its chart data. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.2.3. |
| INFINITT ULite 5.0.2.1_BN48_20260528 and earlier protects image-share links with a low-entropy password and does not restrict repeated password attempts, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to brute-force the password within the link validity window and gain unauthorized access to shared medical images. Fixed in ULite 5.0.2.1 BN50. |
| Hisense VIDAA Smart TV firmware V0000.01.00a.P0220 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in its remote-control MQTT broker on TCP port 36669, which accepts publicly documented default credentials and an ineffective 4-digit pairing PIN with no rate limiting or lockout, allowing a brute force of the entire code space in about five seconds, while some actions require no pairing at all. A LAN-adjacent attacker can exploit this to inject key events, change volume, switch input sources, enumerate inputs, launch arbitrary installed applications, and monitor pairing activity, posing a significant risk in hotel deployments where untrusted LAN access is common. |
| Authentication Bypass / Missing Brute-Force Protection in remote.php/webdav/ in ownCloud ownCloud server 10.16.3 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to perform unlimited online password guessing against WebDAV accounts via repeated HTTP Basic Authentication requests to the WebDAV endpoint. |
| FreeScout is a self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to 1.8.225, the administrative tools.php maintenance endpoint is reachable without an appropriate authentication or access-control boundary. Response differences for attacker-controlled path values disclose whether arbitrary directories and files exist on the server. The same endpoint validates application-key and database-password candidates without rate limiting, per-session throttling, or a CAPTCHA, allowing unrestricted guessing attempts against application secrets. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.225. |
| An improper restriction of excessive authentication attempts vulnerability in Fortinet FortiAnalyzer 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiAnalyzer 7.4.0 through 7.4.10, FortiAnalyzer 7.2 all versions, FortiAnalyzer 7.0 all versions, FortiAnalyzer 6.4 all versions, FortiAnalyzer Cloud 7.6.2, FortiAnalyzer Cloud 7.4.1 through 7.4.7, FortiAnalyzer Cloud 7.2.1 through 7.2.10, FortiAnalyzer Cloud 7.0.1 through 7.0.14, FortiAnalyzer Cloud 6.4 all versions, FortiManager 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiManager 7.4.0 through 7.4.10, FortiManager 7.2 all versions, FortiManager 7.0 all versions, FortiManager 6.4 all versions, FortiManager Cloud 7.6.2 through 7.6.3, FortiManager Cloud 7.4.1 through 7.4.7, FortiManager Cloud 7.2.1 through 7.2.10, FortiManager Cloud 7.0.1 through 7.0.14, FortiManager Cloud 6.4 all versions may allow an attacker to bypass bruteforce protections via exploitation of race conditions. The latter raises the complexity of practical exploitation. |
| In server mode pgAdmin 4 locks an internal account after MAX_LOGIN_ATTEMPTS failed logins (3 by default). The limit could be bypassed, giving an unauthenticated attacker an unlimited number of password guesses against any internal account, including the administrator's, in the default configuration:
- Flask-Security registers its own views next to pgAdmin's. A login submitted to its /login view was checked and logged in without pgAdmin's failed login count or lock. Its /verify view checked a signed-in user's password without limit, its /change view changed a password without pgAdmin's change password permission or re-encrypting the user's saved server passwords, and its /reset views sent and applied password resets for accounts that are not internal or are locked.
- The internal account was looked up by its exact username, while the login form matches the email ignoring case, so a login with the username typed in another case was neither counted nor checked for the lock.
- With LDAP or webserver authentication also configured, a wrong internal password was never counted, and with Kerberos or webserver authentication configured a guess could be answered without being counted.
In addition, where accounts from different authentication sources share an email address, a password reset could be sent for, or applied to, an account from another source, and the About box showed the server configuration to a user whose email was that of an administrator's account.
The fix refuses submissions to Flask-Security's own views, counts every failed internal login however the username is typed and whatever other sources are configured, no longer lets a login that posts a password fall back to an authentication source that does not check it, and locks only internal authentication. Password resets and the About box act only on the user's own internal account. Desktop mode is not affected.
This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19. |
| HCL AION is affected by a vulnerability where the account lockout mechanism did not sufficiently restrict repeated failed login attempts, allowing an attacker to make a large number of password guesses against a user account. This may increase the risk of account compromise through brute-force attacks, potentially resulting in unintended behavior or security impact under certain conditions. |
| Improper Restriction of Excessive Authentication Attempts vulnerability in Drupal Shield allows Brute Force. This issue affects Shield versions: from 0.0.0 to 1.9.0. |
| A flaw was found in the Device Authorization Grant flow of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The issue occurs because the token redemption process fails to check if a user account is currently locked due to brute-force protection. If an attacker has an active session for a locked account, they can complete the device login process and receive new security tokens. This allows the attacker to maintain access to the account even when it should be temporarily disabled to prevent unauthorized entry. |
| A flaw has been found in Campcodes Bitcoin Wallet System 1.0. This affects the function random_int of the file core/app/Http/Controllers/Auth/ForgotPasswordController.php. This manipulation causes improper restriction of excessive authentication attempts. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The attack's complexity is rated as high. It is indicated that the exploitability is difficult. The exploit has been published and may be used. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Enterprise Manager for Oracle Database product of Oracle Enterprise Manager (component: Data Guard Management). Supported versions that are affected are 13.5 and 24.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Enterprise Manager for Oracle Database. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Enterprise Manager for Oracle Database, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Enterprise Manager for Oracle Database. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.9 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| BlueprintUE Self-Hosted Edition 4.2.0 before 4.3.4 contains a login rate limit bypass vulnerability in LoginMiddleware.php that keys failed-login counters on case-sensitive usernames. Unauthenticated attackers can vary username casing against case-insensitive MySQL lookups to get extra attempts and brute-force passwords past the per-account lockout. |
| A flaw was found in Wildfly Elytron integration. The component does not implement sufficient measures to prevent multiple failed authentication attempts within a short time frame, making it more susceptible to brute force attacks via CLI. |
| Improper restriction of excessive authentication attempts vulnerability in İdvlabs Software and Consulting Services Inc. Ontime allows Brute Force.
This issue affects Ontime: through 2026-10-27.
NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was found in miroslavpejic85 MiroTalk P2P up to 2.0.87. This vulnerability affects the function checkPassword of the file app/src/server.js of the component Room Action Handler. The manipulation results in improper restriction of excessive authentication attempts. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. Attacks of this nature are highly complex. It is stated that the exploitability is difficult. The exploit has been made public and could be used. Upgrading to version 2.1.38 is able to resolve this issue. The patch is identified as 55bec1d05f931d2e43633d6d0b7274f79ec719dd. Upgrading the affected component is advised. |
| ProSoft Technology ICX35 devices (X35-HWC-A and ICX35-HWC-E) contain a login lockout bypass in the integrated module web page. The account lockout mechanism that restricts repeated failed authentication attempts is enforced in client-side JavaScript, so a remote attacker can reset the lockout and continue submitting password guesses by deleting the relevant browser cookies, defeating the brute-force protection. This vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.14.158. |
| Vulnerability in the Siebel CRM Deployment product of Oracle Siebel CRM (component: Server Infrastructure). Supported versions that are affected are 17.0-26.9. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Siebel CRM Deployment. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Siebel CRM Deployment accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.3 (Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N). |
| The twofactor_gauthenticator plugin for Roundcube is vulnerable to brute-forcing of the second-factor code. Due to the lack of rate limiting, an attacker who obtains user's password can submit arbitrary 6-digit codes, resulting in second-factor bypass and unauthorized access to the system.
This issue was fixed in commit 4640889. |
