CVE-2026-72230 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: frag: free unfragmentable packet The caller of batadv_frag_send_packet() assume that the skb provided to the function are always consumed. But the pre-check for an empty payload or the zero fragment size returned an error without any further actions. A failed pre-check must use the same error handling code as the rest of the function.
CVE-2026-72056 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ena: clean up XDP TX queues when regular TX setup fails create_queues_with_size_backoff() creates XDP TX queues before setting up the regular TX path. If the subsequent allocation or creation of regular TX queues fails, the error handling paths omit the teardown of the XDP TX queues, leading to a resource leak. Fix this by explicitly destroying the XDP TX queue subset at the two missing failure points. The bug was first flagged by an experimental analysis tool we are developing for kernel memory-management bugs while analyzing v6.13-rc1. The tool is still under development and is not yet publicly available. Manual inspection confirms that the bug is still present in v7.1-rc7. An x86_64 allyesconfig build showed no new warnings. As we do not have an ENA device to test with, no runtime testing was able to be performed.
CVE-2026-46248 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: clear stale link mapping of ahvif->links_map When an arvif is initialized in non-AP STA mode but MLO connection preparation fails before the arvif is created (arvif->is_created remains false), the error path attempts to delete all links. However, link deletion only executes when arvif->is_created is true. As a result, ahvif retains a stale entry of arvif that is initialized but not created. When a new arvif is initialized with the same link id, this stale mapping triggers the following WARN_ON. WARNING: drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath12k/mac.c:4271 at ath12k_mac_op_change_vif_links+0x140/0x180 [ath12k], CPU#3: wpa_supplicant/275 Call trace: ath12k_mac_op_change_vif_links+0x140/0x180 [ath12k] (P) drv_change_vif_links+0xbc/0x1a4 [mac80211] ieee80211_vif_update_links+0x54c/0x6a0 [mac80211] ieee80211_vif_set_links+0x40/0x70 [mac80211] ieee80211_prep_connection+0x84/0x450 [mac80211] ieee80211_mgd_auth+0x200/0x480 [mac80211] ieee80211_auth+0x14/0x20 [mac80211] cfg80211_mlme_auth+0x90/0xf0 [cfg80211] nl80211_authenticate+0x32c/0x380 [cfg80211] genl_family_rcv_msg_doit+0xc8/0x134 Fix this issue by unassigning the link vif and clearing ahvif->links_map if arvif is only initialized but not created. CVE-2026-46196 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracepoint: balance regfunc() on func_add() failure in tracepoint_add_func() When a tracepoint goes through the 0 -> 1 transition, tracepoint_add_func() invokes the subsystem's ext->regfunc() before attempting to install the new probe via func_add(). If func_add() then fails (for example, when allocate_probes() cannot allocate a new probe array under memory pressure and returns -ENOMEM), the function returns the error without calling the matching ext->unregfunc(), leaving the side effects of regfunc() behind with no installed probe to justify them. For syscall tracepoints this is particularly unpleasant: syscall_regfunc() bumps sys_tracepoint_refcount and sets SYSCALL_TRACEPOINT on every task. After a leaked failure, the refcount is stuck at a non-zero value with no consumer, and every task continues paying the syscall trace entry/exit overhead until reboot. Other subsystems providing regfunc()/unregfunc() pairs exhibit similarly scoped persistent state. Mirror the existing 1 -> 0 cleanup and call ext->unregfunc() in the func_add() error path, gated on the same condition used there so the unwind is symmetric with the registration.
CVE-2026-46126 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/mana: Fix mana_destroy_wq_obj() cleanup in mana_ib_create_qp_rss() Sashiko points out there are two bugs here in the error unwind flow, both related to how the WQ table is unwound. First there is a double i-- on the first failure path due to the while loop having a i--, remove it. Second if mana_ib_install_cq_cb() fails then mana_create_wq_obj() is not undone due to the above i--.
CVE-2026-46084 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/mana_ib: Disable RX steering on RSS QP destroy When an RSS QP is destroyed (e.g. DPDK exit), mana_ib_destroy_qp_rss() destroys the RX WQ objects but does not disable vPort RX steering in firmware. This leaves stale steering configuration that still points to the destroyed RX objects. If traffic continues to arrive (e.g. peer VM is still transmitting) and the VF interface is subsequently brought up (mana_open), the firmware may deliver completions using stale CQ IDs from the old RX objects. These CQ IDs can be reused by the ethernet driver for new TX CQs, causing RX completions to land on TX CQs: WARNING: mana_poll_tx_cq+0x1b8/0x220 [mana] (is_sq == false) WARNING: mana_gd_process_eq_events+0x209/0x290 (cq_table lookup fails) Fix this by disabling vPort RX steering before destroying RX WQ objects. Note that mana_fence_rqs() cannot be used here because the fence completion is delivered on the CQ, which is polled by user-mode (e.g. DPDK) and not visible to the kernel driver. Refactor the disable logic into a shared mana_disable_vport_rx() in mana_en, exported for use by mana_ib, replacing the duplicate code. The ethernet driver's mana_dealloc_queues() is also updated to call this common function.
CVE-2026-46060 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: qat - fix IRQ cleanup on 6xxx probe failure When adf_dev_up() partially completes and then fails, the IRQ handlers registered during adf_isr_resource_alloc() are not detached before the MSI-X vectors are released. Since the device is enabled with pcim_enable_device(), calling pci_alloc_irq_vectors() internally registers pcim_msi_release() as a devres action. On probe failure, devres runs pcim_msi_release() which calls pci_free_irq_vectors(), tearing down the MSI-X vectors while IRQ handlers (for example 'qat0-bundle0') are still attached. This causes remove_proc_entry() warnings: [ 22.163964] remove_proc_entry: removing non-empty directory 'irq/143', leaking at least 'qat0-bundle0' Moving the devm_add_action_or_reset() before adf_dev_up() does not solve the problem since devres runs in LIFO order and pcim_msi_release(), registered later inside adf_dev_up(), would still fire before adf_device_down(). Fix by calling adf_dev_down() explicitly when adf_dev_up() fails, to properly free IRQ handlers before devres releases the MSI-X vectors.
CVE-2026-98715 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Preserve TLB control (i.e. pending TLB flush) on failed VMRUN Don't reset the VMCB's TLB control back to "do nothing" on a failed VMRUN, as empirical testing shows that the CPU performs the requested TLB flush if and only if VMRUN is successful, i.e. clearing TLB control on a failed VMRUN effectively drops a TLB flush. Explicitly track the need to flush all ASIDs on a per-CPU basis, as the ASID reuse condition is tied to the pCPU, not to the vCPU. As a bonus, this also obviates the need to avoid clobbering FLUSH_ALL_ASID with TLB_CONTROL_FLUSH_ASID, e.g. in svm_flush_tlb_asid(). Deliberately don't bother saving/restoring the "old" tlb_ctl on failure, in quotes because it's not exactly the old tlb_ctl, it's the tlb_ctl from after pre_svm_run(), but before updating tlb_ctl for flush_all_asids. If VMRUN fails and TLB_CONTROL_FLUSH_ALL_ASID is forced, then the next successful run of the VMCB *may* unnecessarily flush all ASIDs, which strictly speaking could result in noisy neighbor issues. However, the fact that new_asid() is already guest-triggerable, because of KVM's flawed behavior of clearing the ASID on emulated INIT, means that a guest can already trigger a flush of all ASIDs at roughly the same rate. And once KVM stops clobbering the ASID on emulated INIT, *or* assigns a static ASID to each vCPU, this flaw goes away.
CVE-2026-98685 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 3.3 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: discard post-EOF pagecache when extending a file via clone range cifs_remap_file_range() discarded the pagecache only for the folios overlapping the destination region, so when a clone extends the file the folio straddling the old EOF - which may hold data dirtied past EOF through an mmap - was never dropped and became visible as file content once the file was extended. Start the discard at the smaller of fstart and the old EOF. i_size is still old here, so nothing past the old EOF is flushed to the server.
CVE-2026-98449 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 6.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: delete compound mids on send failure before unlock When sending a compound request fails, smb_send_rqst() kicks off a reconnect. compound_send_recv() still has those mids on pending_mid_q, but it unlocks the server without removing them first. During reconnect, cifs_abort_connection() walks pending_mid_q and runs each mid callback. With no response yet, those callbacks return credits and drop in_flight. Then compound_send_recv()'s send-error path returns the same credits again. in_flight ends up decremented twice and smb2_add_credits() WARNs. syzbot hits this during SMB2_negotiate when the socket send fails. cifs_call_async() already calls delete_mid() before unlock on send failure. Do the same for compound chains and set cancelled_mid[] so the out: path does not delete them again.
CVE-2026-98439 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 6.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb/server: cancel async requests when closing connection An async request may still be waiting when a connection is closed. This can stop the connection from closing. Cancel active async requests before waiting for them to finish.
CVE-2026-45899 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: drop extent cache when splitting extent fails When the split extent fails, we might leave some extents still being processed and return an error directly, which will result in stale extent entries remaining in the extent status tree. So drop all of the remaining potentially stale extents if the splitting fails.
CVE-2026-43395 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/sync: Cleanup partially initialized sync on parse failure xe_sync_entry_parse() can allocate references (syncobj, fence, chain fence, or user fence) before hitting a later failure path. Several of those paths returned directly, leaving partially initialized state and leaking refs. Route these error paths through a common free_sync label and call xe_sync_entry_cleanup(sync) before returning the error. (cherry picked from commit f939bdd9207a5d1fc55cced5459858480686ce22)
CVE-2026-43027 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_helper: pass helper to expect cleanup nf_conntrack_helper_unregister() calls nf_ct_expect_iterate_destroy() to remove expectations belonging to the helper being unregistered. However, it passes NULL instead of the helper pointer as the data argument, so expect_iter_me() never matches any expectation and all of them survive the cleanup. After unregister returns, nfnl_cthelper_del() frees the helper object immediately. Subsequent expectation dumps or packet-driven init_conntrack() calls then dereference the freed exp->helper, causing a use-after-free. Pass the actual helper pointer so expectations referencing it are properly destroyed before the helper object is freed. CVE-2026-31390 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Fix memory leak in xe_vm_madvise_ioctl When check_bo_args_are_sane() validation fails, jump to the new free_vmas cleanup label to properly free the allocated resources. This ensures proper cleanup in this error path. (cherry picked from commit 29bd06faf727a4b76663e4be0f7d770e2d2a7965)
CVE-2026-116132 1 Libwww-perl 1 Http-body 2026-11-05 7.1 High
HTTP::Body versions before 1.23_01 for Perl leave the temporary file of an incomplete multipart upload on disk. The multipart parser creates a temporary file as soon as a file part starts, but adds it to the upload list only when the part completes. Uploads are only ever deleted from that list, by the cleanup option or by the caller, so a body that ends inside a file part leaves its temporary file where nothing can find it. A remote attacker can fill the temporary directory by repeating such requests, leaving one file behind for each.
CVE-2025-22106 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vmxnet3: unregister xdp rxq info in the reset path vmxnet3 does not unregister xdp rxq info in the vmxnet3_reset_work() code path as vmxnet3_rq_destroy() is not invoked in this code path. CVE-2022-49118 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: hisi_sas: Free irq vectors in order for v3 HW If the driver probe fails to request the channel IRQ or fatal IRQ, the driver will free the IRQ vectors before freeing the IRQs in free_irq(), and this will cause a kernel BUG like this: ------------[ cut here ]------------ kernel BUG at drivers/pci/msi.c:369! CVE-2026-19730 2 Podman-container-tools, Redhat 13 Podman, Ansible Automation Platform, Container Native Virtualization and 10 more 2026-11-05 4.2 Medium
The 'podman quadlet install --replace' command opens the existing destination file with O_CREATE|O_WRONLY but omits O_TRUNC. When the initial reflink copy attempt fails (common on non-reflink-capable filesystems including many RHEL default XFS configurations), the fallback in ReflinkOrCopy uses io.Copy which performs a non-truncating write. If the original Quadlet is larger than the new Quadlet, the file is not truncated and content from the original is preserved. The command completes with no warning. There is no risk of information leakage as the user already had access to the Quadlet in order to replace it, and in most cases, this would only lead to invalid Quadlet files. However, security-related options from the end of the old Quadlet could be included in the new Quadlet, and if the truncation resulted in a valid Quadlet file, this could result in undesirable behavior. For example, running podman quadlet install --replace to remove a single line from the end of a Quadlet - including security-sensitive content, like AddCapability - will fail, and the option will continue to be used. Further, with Volume Quadlets, this can include additional mounts which can cause content to be unintentionally exposed into containers. If, later, the image is updated then compromised content might be leaked to an attacker. The vulnerable code paths are in pkg/domain/infra/abi/quadlet.go (lines 338-360, O_CREATE|O_WRONLY without O_TRUNC) and vendor/go.podman.io/storage/pkg/fileutils/reflink_linux.go (lines 12-19, non-truncating io.Copy fallback).
CVE-2026-121204 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-11-05 8.8 High
Incomplete cleanup in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
