CVSS v3.1 |
| In JetBrains TeamCity before 2026.1 remote code execution was possible via Perforce connection settings |
| IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to access and modify other tenants' portal data due to improper neutralization of argument delimiters. |
| IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to modify internal requests due to improper neutralization of argument delimiters. Special characters in user-supplied input are not handled safely, which could allow additional parameters to be added to a request made by the server. |
| Securepoint SSL VPN Client v2 on Windows contains vulnerabilities in the handling of OpenVPN configurations and proxy settings that allow non-privileged local users to influence operations performed with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges.
Two attack vectors have been identified:
*
Improper authorization of configuration checksum updates: The privileged service does not properly validate the authorization of connecting clients when updating the checksum of an OpenVPN configuration. This allows a non-privileged local user to modify an OpenVPN configuration and set a valid checksum without administrator privileges. The modified configuration is subsequently processed with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges.
*
Argument injection via proxy settings: The client does not properly validate or sanitize proxy settings before passing them as arguments to OpenVPN. A non-privileged local user can inject additional arguments through the proxy settings, influencing the execution of OpenVPN with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges. This attack vector does not require direct communication with the privileged service or modification of the protected OpenVPN configuration. |
| A flaw was found in libblockdev. The bd_fs_ntfs_set_label() and bd_fs_vfat_set_label() functions pass caller-supplied label values as bare positional arguments to the ntfslabel and fatlabel utilities without end-of-options separators or input validation for values beginning with a dash. This allows a label starting with '-' to be interpreted as a command-line flag by the spawned tool, potentially bypassing safety checks or causing unintended operations. This is reachable by unprivileged local users through the udisks2 Filesystem.SetLabel() D-Bus method without administrator authentication. |
| An argument injection flaw was found in CUPS. When email notification is configured, the CUPS scheduler accepts printer subscription requests that supply a mailto notify-recipient-uri. The mailto notifier passes the recipient address to the configured sendmail program without ensuring it cannot be interpreted as command-line options. A remote attacker who can reach the CUPS service could supply a crafted recipient value starting with "-" to influence sendmail behavior. Successful exploitation depends on the installed mail transfer agent and CUPS network exposure, and may lead to execution of attacker-controlled commands with the privileges of the CUPS service user. |
| Codex Desktop for Windows does not correctly check quotation marks in project paths from Windows Explorer. If a user selects "Open project in ChatGPT" for an attacker-controlled library's child item, the path can add application startup arguments. These arguments can run attacker-controlled code with the current Windows user's permissions before sign-in or project trust approval. |
| pgAdmin 4's materialized view refresh passed the target database's name to psql's --dbname argument unchanged. libpq treats a --dbname value containing "=" (or a postgresql:// URI) as a full connection string, whose keywords override the host, port and other settings pgAdmin had supplied. A database whose name is such a string, which any role with CREATEDB can create, therefore redirected the psql process pgAdmin starts for the refresh to a host and port of the creator's choosing, and the connecting user's saved server password was presented to that endpoint. It also let the pgAdmin host be made to open connections to arbitrary addresses.
The same weakness was fixed for Backup, Restore, Maintenance and Import/Export Data in earlier releases (CVE-2026-86862); the materialized view refresh was the remaining caller. The fix routes the name through the same database_conninfo() helper, so libpq treats it strictly as a database name.
This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19. |
| An improper neutralization of argument delimiters in a command ('argument injection') vulnerability in Fortinet FortiDeceptor 6.2.0, FortiDeceptor 6.0 all versions, FortiDeceptor 5.3 all versions, FortiDeceptor 5.2 all versions, FortiDeceptor 5.1 all versions, FortiDeceptor 5.0 all versions, FortiDeceptor 4.3 all versions, FortiDeceptor 4.2 all versions, FortiDeceptor 4.1 all versions, FortiDeceptor 4.0 all versions may allow a privileged attacker with super-admin profile and CLI access to delete sensitive files via crafted HTTP requests. |
| In JetBrains Datalore before 2026.4 notebook code could execute commands in the sidecar container via the mount broker |
| In JetBrains Datalore before 2026.3 command execution was possible in the database task container via JVM options injection |
| Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.1.0, improper validation of user-provided backup compression algorithm leads to argument injection in the constructed command line. This leads to an arbitrary file write on the host, possibly leading to arbitrary command execution. Version 7.1.0 patches the issue. |
| ntopng is a web-based network traffic monitoring application. Prior to 6.7.260717, scripts/lua/rest/v2/add/host/to_scan.lua and scripts/lua/rest/v2/exec/host/schedule_vulnerability_scan.lua accept scan_ports from any authenticated session, including non-administrator users, while deployments with login disabled expose the same request without authentication. The endpoints validate scan_ports with validateSingleWord, which permits shell metacharacters, and persist the value for the minute vulnerability-scan scheduler. The scheduler concatenates the value into an nmap command through nmap_scan_host and executes it through ntop.execCmd or ntop.execCmdAsync using popen. For the tcp_portscan and cve modules, a preliminary nmap -sn probe must first report the target as up before the attacker-controlled ports are used. When nmap is installed, this command injection allows arbitrary operating-system commands to execute as the ntopng service account without further user interaction. This issue is fixed in version 6.7.260717. |
| A flaw was found in libnbd. A malicious actor could exploit this by convincing libnbd to open a specially crafted Uniform Resource Identifier (URI). This vulnerability arises because non-standard hostnames starting with '-o' are incorrectly interpreted as arguments to the Secure Shell (SSH) process, rather than as hostnames. This could lead to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running libnbd. |
| iTerm2 before 3.7.7beta2 has an argument injection vulnerability in the x-man-page: URL handler, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the logged-in user by inducing the user to open a crafted URL in iTerm2. Percent-encoded NUL characters survive input sanitization and are subsequently converted to whitespace during command-line parsing, allowing injection of additional arguments to /usr/bin/man. An attacker can inject the -P option to select an attacker-controlled pager command. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2023-46321. |
| Node Version Manager (nvm) is a POSIX-compliant shell function for managing multiple node.js versions. In versions 0.5.0 through 0.40.8, the requested version pattern is passed to `grep` as a bare argument, without `-e`, in `nvm_ls_remote_index_tab`, `nvm_remote_version`, and `nvm_ls_cached`. A `.nvmrc` whose first line starts with `-`, such as `-Rohenpm_[A-Za-z0-9]*`, is parsed as grep options; with GNU grep, `-R` searches the current directory recursively (following symlinks) instead of the version list. On a bare `nvm install`, nvm then treats a matched string from those files as the version, prints it, and requests it from the configured mirror inside download URLs, so for example a repository containing a symlink to `../../.npmrc` can leak the user's npm token to the terminal and to the mirror's and any proxy's logs. The disclosure is read-only and limited to the characters `0-9A-Za-z._+-`. Version 0.41.0 passes every version pattern to grep with `-e`. |
| A flaw was found in yggdrasil-worker-package-manager. A local attacker with existing access to the system could exploit an argument injection vulnerability in the APT backend. This allows specially crafted package names, which begin with a hyphen, to be misinterpreted as command options by apt-get. Successful exploitation could lead to remote code execution (RCE) with root privileges, enabling the attacker to fully compromise the system's integrity, confidentiality, and availability. |
| A flaw was found in ansible-core. The _extract_collection_from_git() function in ansible-core's concrete_artifact_manager.py constructs git clone commands without a '--' (end-of-options) separator before user-supplied URLs when installing collections from git sources. An attacker who provides a crafted collection source URI containing git argument injection payloads can achieve arbitrary command execution when a user runs 'ansible-galaxy collection install' with the malicious source. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-11332, which hardened the role install path but missed the equivalent collection install code path. |
| A flaw was found in cifs-utils. This flaw allows an unprivileged local user to achieve privilege escalation. When a privileged service mounts a Common Internet File System (CIFS) share using a user-controlled credentials file, input values are not properly sanitized before being assembled into mount options. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject unauthorized mount options, allowing them to bypass permission checks and execute files with administrative (root) privileges. |
| A flaw was found in ansible-core. The ansible-galaxy role install command processes dependency specifications from a role's meta/requirements.yml file. Due to improper neutralization of argument delimiters, a malicious role author can inject arbitrary git configuration flags through the src field. This allows arbitrary code execution on the machine of a user who installs the role via ansible-galaxy role install. |
