| CVE-2026-81627 | 2 Qemu, Redhat | 9 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux For Nvidia 26 and 6 more | 2026-11-04 | 8.2 High |
| A flaw was found in QEMU. The VAPIC setup hypercall in hw/i386/vapic.c does not validate that the writable RAM alias remains within the option ROM window. A privileged guest user on a Q35/KVM machine can position this alias over locked SMRAM, bypassing chipset D_LCK protection and injecting code into System Management Mode memory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78409 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 7 Util-linux, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 4 more | 2026-11-04 | 7 High |
| The X-mount.subdir option uses a detached-tree fast path on Linux 6.15 and later and passes the configured subdirectory to open_tree() with AT_SYMLINK_NOFOLLOW. That flag does not stop intermediate symlink traversal or keep resolution inside the newly mounted filesystem. A local unprivileged user with an fstab-authorized X-mount.subdir entry can attach a host path at the intended mountpoint. | ||||
| CVE-2026-6846 | 3 Gnu, Iputils, Redhat | 8 Binutils, Iputils, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in binutils. A heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists when processing a specially crafted XCOFF (Extended Common Object File Format) object file during linking. A local attacker could trick a user into processing this malicious file, which could lead to arbitrary code execution, allowing the attacker to run unauthorized commands, or cause a denial of service, making the system unavailable. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4111 | 1 Redhat | 13 Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager, Discovery and 10 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was identified in the RAR5 archive decompression logic of the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_data() processing path. When a specially crafted RAR5 archive is processed, the decompression routine may enter a state where internal logic prevents forward progress. This condition results in an infinite loop that continuously consumes CPU resources. Because the archive passes checksum validation and appears structurally valid, affected applications cannot detect the issue before processing. This can allow attackers to cause persistent denial-of-service conditions in services that automatically process archives. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4878 | 2 Libcap Project, Redhat | 21 Libcap, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 18 more | 2026-11-04 | 6.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libcap. A local unprivileged user can exploit a Time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the `cap_set_file()` function. This allows an attacker with write access to a parent directory to redirect file capability updates to an attacker-controlled file. By doing so, capabilities can be injected into or stripped from unintended executables, leading to privilege escalation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4480 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more | 2026-11-04 | 9 Critical |
| A flaw was found in the Samba printing subsystem. Samba passes the client-controlled job description string to the command configured with the "print command" setting via the "%J" substitution character without escaping shell meta characters. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted print job description that contains unescaped shell characters. This could lead to remote code execution on the affected system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4424 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 22 Libarchive, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 19 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in libarchive. This heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the RAR archive processing logic due to improper validation of the LZSS sliding window size after transitions between compression methods. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted RAR archive, leading to the disclosure of sensitive heap memory information without requiring authentication or user interaction. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4408 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more | 2026-11-04 | 9 Critical |
| A flaw was found in Samba. A remote attacker can exploit a misconfiguration in Samba file servers and classic domain controllers that use the "check password script" feature. If this script is configured with the %u substitution character, the client-controlled username is passed without proper escaping of shell meta-characters. This vulnerability allows an attacker to achieve remote command execution on the affected system. This issue primarily affects non-standard configurations where the "check password script" is used with %u and the samba-dcerpcd service is started as a system service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42010 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 18 Gnutls, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 15 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. Servers configured with RSA-PSK (Rivest–Shamir–Adleman – Pre-Shared Key) wrongfully matched usernames containing a NUL character with truncated usernames. A remote attacker could exploit this by sending a specially crafted username, leading to an authentication bypass. This vulnerability allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access by circumventing the authentication process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42009 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 28 Gnutls, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 25 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit an issue in the Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) packet reordering logic. The comparator function, responsible for ordering DTLS packets by sequence numbers, did not correctly handle packets with duplicate sequence numbers. This could lead to unstable packet ordering or undefined behavior, resulting in a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33846 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 18 Gnutls, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 15 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.5 High |
| A heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the DTLS handshake fragment reassembly logic of GnuTLS. The issue arises in merge_handshake_packet() where incoming handshake fragments are matched and merged based solely on handshake type, without validating that the message_length field remains consistent across all fragments of the same logical message. An attacker can exploit this by sending crafted DTLS fragments with conflicting message_length values, causing the implementation to allocate a buffer based on a smaller initial fragment and subsequently write beyond its bounds using larger, inconsistent fragments. Because the merge operation does not enforce proper bounds checking against the allocated buffer size, this results in an out-of-bounds write on the heap. The vulnerability is remotely exploitable without authentication via the DTLS handshake path and can lead to application crashes or potential memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33845 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 18 Gnutls, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 15 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw in GnuTLS DTLS handshake parsing allows malformed fragments with zero length and non-zero offset, leading to an integer underflow during reassembly and resulting in an out-of-bounds read. This issue is remotely exploitable and may cause information disclosure or denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42784 | 3 Red Hat, Redhat, Sequoia-pgp | 14 Enterprise Linux, Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Automation Platform Developer and 11 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.4 High |
| A flaw was found in sequoia-openpgp. The library incorrectly infers key flags for older certificates when a key flags subpacket is missing, leading to a discrepancy in how key capabilities are viewed. This key flag confusion allows an attacker to bypass the back-signature check. Consequently, an attacker can illegitimately bind an arbitrary subkey to their own certificate and forge signatures, completely compromising cryptographic integrity. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3012 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more | 2026-11-04 | 8 High |
| A flaw was found in Samba’s certificate auto-enrollment Group Policy handling. When certificate auto-enrollment is enabled, Samba may retrieve a CA certificate over an unencrypted HTTP connection and install it into the local trust store without proper verification. An attacker with the ability to intercept or redirect network traffic could exploit this behavior to supply a malicious certificate authority certificate, potentially allowing interception or spoofing of trusted communications. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19685 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 4 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.1 High |
| NetworkManager did not apply the private_user restriction to the 802-1x.ca-path and phase2-ca-path directory-valued connection properties. This incomplete fix for CVE-2025-9615 allows an unprivileged local user to point a private WPA-Enterprise (802.1X) connection profile's CA path at an attacker-controlled directory, bypassing server certificate validation and enabling credential theft via a rogue access point. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16529 | 1 Redhat | 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 7 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.5 High |
| A signed integer overflow in the PCP __pmGetPDU() function can be exploited via crafted network packets during PDU processing or SASL negotiation. This permanently blinds the affected daemon, resulting in a total denial of service (DoS) for subsequent packet reads. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16527 | 1 Redhat | 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 7 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.3 High |
| An unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass access controls by sending crafted requests to the PCP pmproxy /store endpoint. This allows the attacker to overwrite any PMDA metric, leading to arbitrary code execution and system takeover. | ||||
