CVSS v3.1 |
| reset_password.html parses query string parameters and uses the 'url' parameter as a redirection target (window.location = url) after password reset, optionally delayed by a 'delay' parameter. No validation or allowlisting is performed on url, enabling an attacker to redirect users to an arbitrary external site after completion of the password-reset workflow. |
| A logic issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to gain root privileges. |
| A Kafka broker using SASL/OAUTHBEARER with the default validator (sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class=DefaultJwtValidator) selects its implementation from configuration. When sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url is set, the validator verifies the JWT signature. When that URL is unset (the default) and no verification key resolver is supplied, DefaultJwtValidator silently falls back to ClientJwtValidator, which does not verify the JWT signature, algorithm, or issuer - and the broker starts with no warning or error. This is the residual of CVE-2026-33557, whose fix restored signature verification only on the path where the JWKS endpoint URL is set.
Impact:
A broker in this state accepts any structurally valid JWT, including "alg":"none" tokens. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can reach the listener can forge a token asserting any principal - including configured superusers - and gain full access to the cluster. Only brokers that enable SASL/OAUTHBEARER validation without a JWKS endpoint URL (and without a custom verification key resolver) are affected; brokers that set the URL verify signatures and are not affected. Unlike CVE-2026-110952 (issuer/audience not enforced by default), here no signature is verified at all.
Mitigation (all affected versions, no upgrade required):
Set sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url for every listener/mechanism that uses OAuthBearerValidatorCallbackHandler, or configure a signature-verifying sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class.
Resolution:
From Apache Kafka 4.2.2, 4.3.1, and 4.4.0: a broker that would fall back to the non-verifying ClientJwtValidator fails to start with a ConfigException instead of running without signature verification (secure by default). |
| A denial of service vulnerability was found in GStreamer's AV1 codec parser in gst-plugins-bad. The gst_av1_parser_parse_tile_list_obu() function passes a byte count to a bit-reader API that expects a bit count, causing parser desynchronization. A remote attacker could trick a user into opening a specially crafted AV1 media file, triggering an assertion abort and causing the application to crash. |
| SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, the changeReportPage controller action renders a protected report without repeating the record-level access check enforced by DetailView. The affected flow begins at AOR_Reports and uses changeReportPage, and DetailView to carry attacker-controlled data or authorization state into the security-sensitive operation. An authenticated user can directly invoke the action and read report rows and restricted-module data despite owner-only or role-based report visibility. This issue is fixed in versions 7.15.2 and 8.10.2. |
| Readest is a modern, feature-rich ebook reader designed for seamless cross-platform access and an intuitive reading experience. Prior to 0.11.10, POST /api/stripe/check in apps/readest-app/src/app/api/stripe/check/route.ts accepted a client-controlled sessionId, retrieved the corresponding Stripe Checkout Session, and granted the paid plan to the authenticated caller without verifying session.metadata.userId. The createOrUpdateSubscription path then updated the plans row keyed by the caller's user identifier rather than the Checkout Session owner. Any authenticated free user with a paid active Checkout Session identifier, including one from the user's own single legitimate purchase, could replay that identifier to upgrade additional accounts without payment. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.10. |
| Chevereto before 4.5.8 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the get-album-contents action of the /json route that allows unauthenticated attackers to list private albums by supplying another user's album id. Attackers with a session token from any public page and an album's encoded id can obtain image filenames, viewer and direct file URLs, and download private images. |
| Content Egg plugin for WordPress before 12.1.0 contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve Content Egg product data from unpublished posts by calling the REST route POST /wp-json/content-egg/v1/render-blocks, whose permission_check() improperly returns true when no X-WP-Nonce header is supplied. Attackers can supply the post_id and module id of a draft, pending, scheduled, or private post to handle_render(), which lacks a publish-status check, to disclose product titles, destination and affiliate URLs, merchant or domain information, and descriptions. |
| Sandboxie-Plus is an open source sandbox-based isolation software for Windows. Prior to 1.18.6, a process inside a sandbox could send MSGID_FILE_SET_ATTRIBUTES or MSGID_FILE_SET_SHORT_NAME to SbieSvc and cause the SYSTEM service to open and modify an existing file outside the sandbox. The direct primitive changes file attributes, timestamps, writeability, or 8.3 short names; a short-name redirection can additionally contribute to SYSTEM code execution when a privileged process resolves an attacker-controlled short-name path in a location SbieSvc can open. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.18.6. |

drm/imagination: Fix kernel crash when hard resetting the GPU
The GPU hard reset sequence calls pm_runtime_force_suspend() and
pm_runtime_force_resume(), which according to their documentation should
only be used during system-wide PM transitions to sleep states.
The main issue though is that depending on some internal runtime PM
state as seen by pm_runtime_force_suspend() (whether the usage count is
<= 1), pm_runtime_force_resume() might not resume the device unless
needed. If that happens, the runtime PM resume callback
pvr_power_device_resume() is not called, the GPU clocks are not
re-enabled, and the kernel crashes on the next attempt to access GPU
registers as part of the power-on sequence.
Replace calls to pm_runtime_force_suspend() and
pm_runtime_force_resume() with direct calls to the driver's runtime PM
callbacks, pvr_power_device_suspend() and pvr_power_device_resume(),
to ensure clocks are re-enabled and avoid the kernel crash. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/scheduler: signal scheduled fence when kill job
When an entity from application B is killed, drm_sched_entity_kill()
removes all jobs belonging to that entity through
drm_sched_entity_kill_jobs_work(). If application A's job depends on a
scheduled fence from application B's job, and that fence is not properly
signaled during the killing process, application A's dependency cannot be
cleared.
This leads to application A hanging indefinitely while waiting for a
dependency that will never be resolved. Fix this issue by ensuring that
scheduled fences are properly signaled when an entity is killed, allowing
dependent applications to continue execution. |

It is not allowed to take the mmap_lock while in atomic context. Therefore
handle such a secure storage access fault as if the accessed page is not
mapped: the uaccess function will return -EFAULT, and the caller has to
deal with this. Usually this means that the access is retried in process
context, which allows to resolve the page fault (or in this case export the
page). |

Bluetooth: btintel: Check dsbr size from EFI variable
Since the size of struct btintel_dsbr is already known, we can just
start there instead of querying the EFI variable size. If the final
result doesn't match what we expect also fail. This fixes a stack buffer
overflow when the EFI variable is larger than struct btintel_dsbr. |

iavf: get rid of the crit lock
Get rid of the crit lock.
That frees us from the error prone logic of try_locks.
Thanks to netdev_lock() by Jakub it is now easy, and in most cases we were
protected by it already - replace crit lock by netdev lock when it was not
the case.
Lockdep reports that we should cancel the work under crit_lock [splat1],
and that was the scheme we have mostly followed since [1] by Slawomir.
But when that is done we still got into deadlocks [splat2]. So instead
we should look at the bigger problem, namely "weird locking/scheduling"
of the iavf. The first step to fix that is to remove the crit lock.
I will followup with a -next series that simplifies scheduling/tasks.
Cancel the work without netdev lock (weird unlock+lock scheme),
to fix the [splat2] (which would be totally ugly if we would kept
the crit lock).
Extend protected part of iavf_watchdog_task() to include scheduling
more work.
Note that the removed comment in iavf_reset_task() was misplaced,
it belonged to inside of the removed if condition, so it's gone now.

block: don't use submit_bio_noacct_nocheck in blk_zone_wplug_bio_work
Bios queued up in the zone write plug have already gone through all all
preparation in the submit_bio path, including the freeze protection.
Submitting them through submit_bio_noacct_nocheck duplicates the work

Go straight to ->submit_bio or blk_mq_submit_bio to bypass the
superfluous extra freeze protection and checks. |

usb: typec: tcpm: move tcpm_queue_vdm_unlocked to asynchronous work
A state check was previously added to tcpm_queue_vdm_unlocked to
prevent a deadlock where the DisplayPort Alt Mode driver would be
executing work and attempting to grab the tcpm_lock while the TCPM
was holding the lock and attempting to unregister the altmode, blocking
on the altmode driver's cancel_work_sync call.
Because the state check isn't protected, there is a small window
where the Alt Mode driver could determine that the TCPM is
in a ready state and attempt to grab the lock while the
TCPM grabs the lock and changes the TCPM state to one that
causes the deadlock. The callstack is provided below:

dm cache: prevent BUG_ON by blocking retries on failed device resumes
A cache device failing to resume due to mapping errors should not be
retried, as the failure leaves a partially initialized policy object.
Repeating the resume operation risks triggering BUG_ON when reloading
cache mappings into the incomplete policy object.
Reproduce steps:
1. create a cache metadata consisting of 512 or more cache blocks,
with some mappings stored in the first array block of the mapping
array. Here we use cache_restore v1.0 to build the metadata.
cat <<EOF >> cmeta.xml
<superblock uuid="" block_size="128" nr_cache_blocks="512" \
policy="smq" hint_width="4">
<mappings>
<mapping cache_block="0" origin_block="0" dirty="false"/>
</mappings>
</superblock>
EOF
dmsetup create cmeta --table "0 8192 linear /dev/sdc 0"
cache_restore -i cmeta.xml -o /dev/mapper/cmeta --metadata-version=2
dmsetup remove cmeta
2. wipe the second array block of the mapping array to simulate
data degradations.
