CVSS v3.1 |
| A logic issue was addressed with improved restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.3, macOS Sonoma 14.7.3, macOS Ventura 13.7.3. An app may be able to access information about a user's contacts. |
| nimiq-block contains block primitives to be used in Nimiq's Rust implementation. `SkipBlockProof::verify` computes its quorum check using `BitSet.len()`, then iterates `BitSet` indices and casts each `usize` index to `u16` (`slot as u16`) for slot lookup. Prior to version 1.3.0, if an attacker can get a `SkipBlockProof` verified where `MultiSignature.signers` contains out-of-range indices spaced by 65536, these indices inflate `len()` but collide onto the same in-range `u16` slot during aggregation. This makes it possible for a malicious validator with far fewer than `2f+1` real signer slots to pass skip block proof verification by multiplying a single BLS signature by the same factor. The patch for this vulnerability is included as part of v1.3.0. No known workarounds are available. |
| IBM Db2 11.5.0 through 11.5.9, and 12.1.0 through 12.1.4 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes Db2 Connect Server) could allow an authenticated user to cause a denial of service due to improper neutralization of special elements in data query logic. |
| Improper validation of STRING tensor offsets could allows malformed string metadata to trigger out of bounds access during constant tensor import in Samsung Open Source ONE
Affected version is prior to commit 1.30.0. |
| nimiq-blockchain provides persistent block storage for Nimiq's Rust implementation. In 1.3.0 and earlier, block timestamp validation enforces that timestamp >= parent.timestamp for non-skip blocks and timestamp == parent.timestamp + MIN_PRODUCER_TIMEOUT for skip blocks, but there is no visible upper bound check against the wall clock. A malicious block-producing validator can set block timestamps arbitrarily far in the future. This directly affects reward calculations via Policy::supply_at() and batch_delay() in blockchain/src/reward.rs, inflating the monetary supply beyond the intended emission schedule. |
| Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in GalleryCreator SimpLy Gallery simply-gallery-block allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs.This issue affects SimpLy Gallery: from n/a through <= 3.3.2. |
| Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in calliko Bonus for Woo bonus-for-woo allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs.This issue affects Bonus for Woo: from n/a through <= 7.6.6. |
| Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in Cozmoslabs Profile Builder profile-builder allows Phishing. This issue affects Profile Builder: from n/a through <= 3.13.8. |
| src/sdp.c in bluez-libs 3.30 in BlueZ, and other bluez-libs before 3.34 and bluez-utils before 3.34 versions, does not validate string length fields in SDP packets, which allows remote SDP servers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted length field that triggers excessive memory allocation or a buffer over-read. |
| Varnish 2.0.6 writes data to a log file without sanitizing non-printable characters, which might allow remote attackers to modify a window's title, or possibly execute arbitrary commands or overwrite files, via an HTTP request containing an escape sequence for a terminal emulator. NOTE: the vendor disputes the significance of this report, stating that "This is not a security problem in Varnish or any other piece of software which writes a logfile. The real problem is the mistaken belief that you can cat(1) a random logfile to your terminal safely. |
| Microsoft Windows XP SP2 and SP3, and Server 2003 SP1 and SP2, does not properly validate the option length field in Pragmatic General Multicast (PGM) packets, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop and system hang) via a crafted PGM packet, aka the "PGM Invalid Length Vulnerability." |
| Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in BoldGrid W3 Total Cache w3-total-cache allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs.This issue affects W3 Total Cache: from n/a through <= 2.9.1. |
| CWE-1284 Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability exists that could cause Event and Data Log truncation impacting log integrity when a Web Admin user alters the POST /logsettings request payload. |
| The rds_page_copy_user function in net/rds/page.c in the Reliable Datagram Sockets (RDS) protocol implementation in the Linux kernel before 2.6.36 does not properly validate addresses obtained from user space, which allows local users to gain privileges via crafted use of the sendmsg and recvmsg system calls. |
| Certificate length was not properly checked when added to a certificate store. In practice only trusted data was processed. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 135, Firefox ESR 128.7, Thunderbird 128.7, and Thunderbird 135. |
| iccDEV provides a set of libraries and tools for working with ICC color management profiles. Versions 2.3.1.1 and below are prone to have Undefined Behavior (UB) and Out of Memory errors. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.1.2. |
| Crypt::URandom versions from 0.41 before 0.55 for Perl is vulnerable to a heap buffer overflow in the XS function crypt_urandom_getrandom().
The function does not validate that the length parameter is non-negative. If a negative value (e.g. -1) is supplied, the expression length + 1u causes an integer wraparound, resulting in a zero-byte allocation. The subsequent call to getrandom(data, length, GRND_NONBLOCK) passes the original negative value, which is implicitly converted to a large unsigned value (typically SIZE_MAX). This can result in writes beyond the allocated buffer, leading to heap memory corruption and application crash (denial of service).
In common usage, the length argument is typically hardcoded by the caller, which reduces the likelihood of attacker-controlled exploitation. Applications that pass untrusted input to this parameter may be affected. |
| Tanium addressed an improper input validation vulnerability in Discover. |
| Crypt::SysRandom::XS versions before 0.010 for Perl is vulnerable to a heap buffer overflow in the XS function random_bytes().
The function does not validate that the length parameter is non-negative. If a negative value (e.g. -1) is supplied, the expression length + 1u causes an integer wraparound, resulting in a zero-byte allocation. The subsequent call to chosen random function (e.g. getrandom) passes the original negative value, which is implicitly converted to a large unsigned value (typically SIZE_MAX).
| Multiple denial of service vulnerabilities exist in React Server Components, affecting the following packages: react-server-dom-parcel, react-server-dom-turbopack, react-server-dom-webpack.
The vulnerabilities are triggered by sending specially crafted HTTP requests to Server Function endpoints, and could lead to server crashes, out-of-memory exceptions or excessive CPU usage; depending on the vulnerable code path being exercised, the application configuration and application code.
Strongly consider upgrading to the latest package versions to reduce risk and prevent availability issues in applications using React Server Components. |
