CVSS v3.1 |
| The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'href[locale]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The nonce required for exploitation is publicly issued to unauthenticated visitors on any forum page via the wpforo.nonces JavaScript object, meaning no account or prior interaction beyond a page load is required to obtain it. |
| The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 via the `data[secondary_groupids]` parameter of the `wpforo_action_profile_update` POST handler. This is due to a type-confusion flaw in the secondary_groupids authorization guard within the `Members::update()` function in `classes/Members.php`, where casting a scalar CSV string (e.g. `"0,1"`) with `(array)` before `array_map('intval', …)` and `array_filter()` produces an empty array — causing the guard's outer conditional, and the else-branch that would otherwise strip the field from the update, to be bypassed entirely — while `encode()`/`decode()` downstream correctly explodes the original CSV and persists the attacker-supplied group IDs to `wp_wpforo_profiles.secondary_groupids`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to escalate their forum privileges to wpForo Administrator by injecting the privileged Admin group ID, granting access to the Forum Accesses editor and the ability to rewrite forum-wide capability policies for all members and edit arbitrary content owned by other users. Exploitation requires the attacker to have at least 3 approved wpForo posts to satisfy the plugin's default `min_number_posts_to_edit_account` antispam gate, along with a valid wpforo nonce obtained from their own account profile form. |
| The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'post[body]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the theme_delete function in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). This exploit chain is reachable only on sites where an administrator has created a custom wpForo secondary usergroup with a blank WordPress role and the 'mth' (Manage Themes) capability; on such sites, an attacker can self-register and claim that group via the unguarded wpforo_secondary_groupids[] POST field, bypassing the role-based group filter and gaining theme-management access as a Subscriber. |
| The Unlimited Elements for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the '<title>/<description> inside the attacker-controlled RSS feed body' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.26 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable against any site whose administrator has placed the RSS Feed catalog widget pointing at a feed URL the attacker controls, as the plugin's own 2.0.25 escaping pre-processor intentionally excludes |raw prints in element content positions from its escaping logic, and XML entity-encoded payloads in feed item titles are decoded back to raw markup before reaching the sink. |
| The Strong Testimonials plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'star_rating' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.16 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful execution requires an administrator to open the standard Preview link for a pending testimonial, a step the plugin's normal moderation workflow naturally invites. |
| The SEOPress – AI SEO Plugin & On-site SEO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'seopress_google_analytics_affiliate_tracking' and 'seopress_google_analytics_download_tracking' settings in versions up to, and including, 10.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on these settings as they are interpolated into the inline Google Analytics tracking snippet by seopress_google_analytics_js(): the affiliate value receives no sanitization at all (it is omitted from inc/admin/sanitize/Sanitize.php) and lands inside a <script> block, while the download value is only passed through sanitize_text_field() and lands inside a JavaScript regular-expression literal that preserves parentheses, semicolons and slashes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above (where an administrator has delegated the SEOPress 'analytics' capability under Settings > Advanced > Security — the precondition Wordfence accepted for CVE-2026-101357), to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'pm_note (any custom Textarea metakey with html disabled)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.14.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires a privileged victim to click the attacker-rendered anchor on the target profile page, which triggers the DOM gadget that concatenates the unescaped data-src value into an HTML string passed to jQuery. |
| The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment (storage); originals / language / original_language (exfiltration from endpoint)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The Optimole – Optimize Images | Convert WebP & AVIF | CDN & Lazy Load | Image Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.17 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit requires the plugin to be in its normal connected state (cdn_key and cdn_secret configured) with the image replacer enabled, which is the default post-setup configuration; the stored payload bypasses all WordPress comment sanitization filters because it contains no HTML metacharacters at storage time — the characters are produced only by Optimole's own decoder at render time. |
| The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'content' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.16 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the target site's theme to register a color_scheme field on the user profile via Redux_Users::set_profile(), which causes the nonce to be rendered on /wp-admin/profile.php for every logged-in user, making it accessible to Subscribers. |
| The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires that at least one prior comment from the attacker's name and email pair has been approved under WordPress's default comment_previously_approved moderation setting, and that a secondary language is configured in TranslatePress. |
| The Greenshift – animation and page builder blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 13.2.2 via the 'img (or any key the publisher references in {{GET:key}})' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract authenticated users' HttpOnly WordPress session cookies, specifically wordpress_logged_in_* tokens, by injecting a nested {{COOKIE:}} placeholder via a GET parameter that causes the victim's browser to transmit the cookie value to an attacker-controlled host as an image src URL. Exploitation requires that a site publisher has configured a public GreenShift Element image block whose src attribute contains a {{GET:}} placeholder, and that a logged-in user can be induced to open the attacker's crafted link — neither condition is part of the plugin's default state. |
| The GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'post_content' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.200 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The nested shortcode payload ([gd_dynamic_conten[gd_tags]t ...]) defeats the plugin's geodir_strip_shortcodes() guard because WordPress's strip_shortcodes() performs only a single pass over registered tags, and HTML-entity-encoded attributes in the resulting shortcode survive wp_kses_post() because kses inspects HTML tags rather than shortcode attribute values. |
| The Optimole – Optimize Images | Convert WebP & AVIF | CDN & Lazy Load | Image Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.18 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the comment to be approved by an administrator and for the affected post to contain at least one iframe or video element (e.g., a core Video block), which is sufficient under default plugin settings where video lazy loading is enabled. |
| The Form Maker by 10Web – Mobile-Friendly Drag & Drop Contact Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'wdform_<field_id>_element<form_id> (payload) + disabled_fields<form_id> (pivot)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.15.50 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the targeted form to contain a File Upload field, as the attacker must suppress that field's storage row via the disabled_fields parameter to shift a controlled text-field value into the positional slot where escaping is skipped; execution occurs when an administrator opens the Submissions page for the affected form. |
| The Kubio AI Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment (review body)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the attacker's review containing the payload to be approved, either automatically (due to a previously approved review from the same account) or manually by an administrator, and the active single-product template must use a Kubio-rendered wp:post-content block. |
| The Greenshift – animation and page builder blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'url (comment_author_url)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 13.2.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the affected page to be configured with a GreenShift Interaction Layer attach-attribute action that copies a comment-author anchor's href into a Counter block's data-prefix or data-postfix attribute; given that configuration, the payload executes for every visitor who loads the Counter into the viewport once the comment is published. |
