CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ext4: replace BUG_ON with proper error handling in ext4_read_inline_folio
Replace BUG_ON() with proper error handling when inline data size
exceeds PAGE_SIZE. This prevents kernel panic and allows the system to
continue running while properly reporting the filesystem corruption.
The error is logged via ext4_error_inode(), the buffer head is released
to prevent memory leak, and -EFSCORRUPTED is returned to indicate
filesystem corruption. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: x_tables: restrict xt_check_match/xt_check_target extensions for NFPROTO_ARP
Weiming Shi says:
xt_match and xt_target structs registered with NFPROTO_UNSPEC can be
loaded by any protocol family through nft_compat. When such a
match/target sets .hooks to restrict which hooks it may run on, the
bitmask uses NF_INET_* constants. This is only correct for families
whose hook layout matches NF_INET_*: IPv4, IPv6, INET, and bridge
all share the same five hooks (PRE_ROUTING ... POST_ROUTING).
ARP only has three hooks (IN=0, OUT=1, FORWARD=2) with different
semantics. Because NF_ARP_OUT == 1 == NF_INET_LOCAL_IN, the .hooks
validation silently passes for the wrong reasons, allowing matches to
run on ARP chains where the hook assumptions (e.g. state->in being
set on input hooks) do not hold. This leads to NULL pointer
dereferences; xt_devgroup is one concrete example:

that provide explicit NFPROTO_ARP match/target declarations. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: usb: cdc_ncm: add ndpoffset to NDP16 nframes bounds check
cdc_ncm_rx_verify_ndp16() validates that the NDP header and its DPE
entries fit within the skb. The first check correctly accounts for
ndpoffset:
if ((ndpoffset + sizeof(struct usb_cdc_ncm_ndp16)) > skb_in->len)
but the second check omits it:
if ((sizeof(struct usb_cdc_ncm_ndp16) +
ret * (sizeof(struct usb_cdc_ncm_dpe16))) > skb_in->len)
This validates the DPE array size against the total skb length as if
the NDP were at offset 0, rather than at ndpoffset. When the NDP is
placed near the end of the NTB (large wNdpIndex), the DPE entries can
extend past the skb data buffer even though the check passes.
cdc_ncm_rx_fixup() then reads out-of-bounds memory when iterating
the DPE array.
Add ndpoffset to the nframes bounds check and use struct_size_t() to
express the NDP-plus-DPE-array size more clearly. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Squashfs: check metadata block offset is within range
Syzkaller reports a "general protection fault in squashfs_copy_data"
This is ultimately caused by a corrupted index look-up table, which
produces a negative metadata block offset.
This is subsequently passed to squashfs_copy_data (via
squashfs_read_metadata) where the negative offset causes an out of bounds
access.
The fix is to check that the offset is within range in
squashfs_read_metadata. This will trap this and other cases. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gve: fix incorrect buffer cleanup in gve_tx_clean_pending_packets for QPL
In DQ-QPL mode, gve_tx_clean_pending_packets() incorrectly uses the RDA
buffer cleanup path. It iterates num_bufs times and attempts to unmap
entries in the dma array.
This leads to two issues:
1. The dma array shares storage with tx_qpl_buf_ids (union).
Interpreting buffer IDs as DMA addresses results in attempting to
unmap incorrect memory locations.
2. num_bufs in QPL mode (counting 2K chunks) can significantly exceed
the size of the dma array, causing out-of-bounds access warnings
(trace below is how we noticed this issue).
UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in
drivers/net/ethernet/drivers/net/ethernet/google/gve/gve_tx_dqo.c:178:5 index 18 is out of

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: usb: kalmia: validate USB endpoints
The kalmia driver should validate that the device it is probing has the
proper number and types of USB endpoints it is expecting before it binds
to it. If a malicious device were to not have the same urbs the driver
will crash later on when it blindly accesses these endpoints. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu/userq: Do not allow userspace to trivially triger kernel warnings
Userspace can either deliberately pass in the too small num_fences, or the
required number can legitimately grow between the two calls to the userq
wait ioctl. In both cases we do not want the emit the kernel warning
backtrace since nothing is wrong with the kernel and userspace will simply
get an errno reported back. So lets simply drop the WARN_ONs.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: usb-audio: Use correct version for UAC3 header validation
The entry of the validators table for UAC3 AC header descriptor is
defined with the wrong protocol version UAC_VERSION_2, while it should
have been UAC_VERSION_3. This results in the validator never matching
for actual UAC3 devices (protocol == UAC_VERSION_3), causing their
header descriptors to bypass validation entirely. A malicious USB
device presenting a truncated UAC3 header could exploit this to cause
out-of-bounds reads when the driver later accesses unvalidated
descriptor fields.
The bug was introduced in the same commit as the recently fixed UAC3
feature unit sub-type typo, and appears to be from the same copy-paste
error when the UAC3 section was created from the UAC2 section. |

net: usb: kaweth: validate USB endpoints

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf/bonding: reject vlan+srcmac xmit_hash_policy change when XDP is loaded
bond_option_mode_set() already rejects mode changes that would make a
loaded XDP program incompatible via bond_xdp_check(). However,
bond_option_xmit_hash_policy_set() has no such guard.
For 802.3ad and balance-xor modes, bond_xdp_check() returns false when
xmit_hash_policy is vlan+srcmac, because the 802.1q payload is usually
absent due to hardware offload. This means a user can:
1. Attach a native XDP program to a bond in 802.3ad/balance-xor mode
with a compatible xmit_hash_policy (e.g. layer2+3).
2. Change xmit_hash_policy to vlan+srcmac while XDP remains loaded.
This leaves bond->xdp_prog set but bond_xdp_check() now returning false
for the same device. When the bond is later destroyed, dev_xdp_uninstall()
calls bond_xdp_set(dev, NULL, NULL) to remove the program, which hits
the bond_xdp_check() guard and returns -EOPNOTSUPP, triggering:
WARN_ON(dev_xdp_install(dev, mode, bpf_op, NULL, 0, NULL))
Fix this by rejecting xmit_hash_policy changes to vlan+srcmac when an
XDP program is loaded on a bond in 802.3ad or balance-xor mode.
commit 39a0876d595b ("net, bonding: Disallow vlan+srcmac with XDP")
introduced bond_xdp_check() which returns false for 802.3ad/balance-xor
modes when xmit_hash_policy is vlan+srcmac. The check was wired into
bond_xdp_set() to reject XDP attachment with an incompatible policy, but
the symmetric path -- preventing xmit_hash_policy from being changed to an
incompatible value after XDP is already loaded -- was left unguarded in
bond_option_xmit_hash_policy_set().
Note:
commit 094ee6017ea0 ("bonding: check xdp prog when set bond mode")
later added a similar guard to bond_option_mode_set(), but
bond_option_xmit_hash_policy_set() remained unprotected. |
| A Kafka broker using SASL/OAUTHBEARER with the default validator (sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class=DefaultJwtValidator) selects its implementation from configuration. When sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url is set, the validator verifies the JWT signature. When that URL is unset (the default) and no verification key resolver is supplied, DefaultJwtValidator silently falls back to ClientJwtValidator, which does not verify the JWT signature, algorithm, or issuer - and the broker starts with no warning or error. This is the residual of CVE-2026-33557, whose fix restored signature verification only on the path where the JWKS endpoint URL is set.
Impact:
A broker in this state accepts any structurally valid JWT, including "alg":"none" tokens. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can reach the listener can forge a token asserting any principal - including configured superusers - and gain full access to the cluster. Only brokers that enable SASL/OAUTHBEARER validation without a JWKS endpoint URL (and without a custom verification key resolver) are affected; brokers that set the URL verify signatures and are not affected. Unlike CVE-2026-110952 (issuer/audience not enforced by default), here no signature is verified at all.
Mitigation (all affected versions, no upgrade required):
Set sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url for every listener/mechanism that uses OAuthBearerValidatorCallbackHandler, or configure a signature-verifying sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class.
Resolution:
From Apache Kafka 4.2.2, 4.3.1, and 4.4.0: a broker that would fall back to the non-verifying ClientJwtValidator fails to start with a ConfigException instead of running without signature verification (secure by default). |
| MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl allow one invalid Content-Type parameter to hide the parameters after it, including the multipart boundary.
Parameter parsing stops at the first parameter whose name it cannot read, such as x:y=1 or a name containing an 8-bit byte, and drops every parameter after it. When the boundary is among them, MIME::Parser keeps the multipart body as a single undecoded part without marking the parse as ambiguous.
Mail readers that skip the invalid parameter still find the boundary. A remote sender can hide an attachment from a filter that relies on ambiguous_content() while the recipient's mail client shows it. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ext4: avoid resizing to a partial cluster size
This patch avoids an attempt to resize the filesystem to an
unaligned cluster boundary. An online resize to a size that is not
integral to cluster size results in the last iteration attempting to
grow the fs by a negative amount, which trips a BUG_ON and leaves the fs
with a corrupted in-memory superblock. |
| stable-diffusion.cpp is a pure C/C++ library for running diffusion model (Stable Diffusion, Flux, Wan, Qwen Image, Z-Image, and more) inference. From master-742-1a13107 until master-763-4fcc6fe, IMatrixCollector::load_imatrix in src/runtime/imatrix.cpp reuses the values and counts vectors for entries with the same tensor name but resizes them only when they are empty. An untrusted .imatrix file can provide a small nval for the first entry and a larger nval for a second entry with the same name, causing the accumulation loop to write attacker-controlled floating-point and integer values beyond both heap buffers. Loading the file through the --imat-in conversion path can corrupt the heap or crash the process before a model is required. This issue is fixed in master-763-4fcc6fe. |
| A flaw was found in luksmeta. Improper boundary validation of metadata slots allows an attacker capable of supplying or modifying a disk header to redirect wipe or load operations outside the intended metadata area. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a crafted header with valid checksums to overwrite or zero out encrypted payload data, resulting in persistent data loss and corrupted storage. Exploitation typically requires privileged access to modify raw block devices or the ability to induce an administrator to process an untrusted disk image. |
| A flaw was found in luksmeta. A local attacker with administrative privileges can cause data corruption when saving metadata to a Linux Unified Key Setup (LUKS) device. Due to incorrect boundary calculations and flawed overlap detection, new metadata entries can be written beyond available free space or over existing records. This issue can corrupt stored encrypted payload data or existing metadata, potentially rendering the affected data inaccessible. |
| Kyverno before 1.19.2 contains an unchecked type assertion in its variable-substitution engine that allows users who can submit resources to crash the policy engine. Attackers can submit resources with non-string fields referenced by {{- variable }} shallow substitution in policies, causing a panic that yields webhook denial of service and policy bypass under failurePolicy Ignore. |
| A data corruption vulnerability has been identified in the luksmeta utility when used with the LUKS1 disk encryption format. An attacker with the necessary permissions can exploit this flaw by writing a large amount of metadata to an encrypted device. The utility fails to correctly validate the available space, causing the metadata to overwrite and corrupt the user's encrypted data. This action leads to a permanent loss of the stored information. Devices using the LUKS formats other than LUKS1 are not affected by this issue. |
| The GetPaid plugin for WordPress before 2.8.63 contains an improper input validation vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass payment processing by submitting a negative item quantity on a public payment form. Attackers can exploit the unchecked quantity value in process_item() to produce a negative line subtotal that reduces the invoice total to zero, causing process_free_payment() to mark the invoice as paid without any actual gateway charge. |
| A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS’s management interface allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker with network access to the management interface to crash the management service by sending a specially crafted login request. Repeated exploitation terminates all active administrator sessions and in-progress management operations and can prevent management of the device. Traffic processing is not affected. |
