In checkNearbyDevicesPermission of WifiP2pServiceImpl.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Confused deputy in BrowserTag in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
Confused deputy in WebAppInstalls in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
Confused deputy in Omnibox in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a local attacker leveraging social engineering to obtain sensitive information via a co-installed app. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
Confused deputy in SignIn in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass web origin policy via a crafted Chrome extension. (Chromium security severity: Low)
Confused deputy in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to obtain sensitive information via a crafted Chrome extension. (Chromium security severity: Low)
An unprivileged application can bypass the `android.car.permission.CAR_DISPLAY_IN_CLUSTER` permission by registering an activity with the `android.car.cluster.NAVIGATION` category and requesting navigation app focus. The privileged `ClusterHomeSample` application, acting as a confused deputy, resolves and launches this arbitrary third-party activity on the safety-critical instrument cluster display without enforcing the necessary permission check, allowing for persistent display of potentially misleading or distracting content.
In multiple locations, there is a possible permission bypass due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In deliverResult of AppTimeTracker.java, there is a possible background activity launch due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In handleAudioEffectBroadcast of MusicFxHelper.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In resolveToHeavyWeightSwitcherIfNeeded of ActivityStarter.java, there is a possible background activity launch due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In moveTaskToFrontLocked of ActivityTaskManagerService.java, there is a possible background application launch (bal) issue due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In run of AddAccountSettings.java, there is a possible background activity launch due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In multiple locations, there is a possible permission bypass due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In startTetheredHotspotRequest of WifiServiceImpl.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In multiple functions in multiple locations, there is a possible execution of sensitive USSD codes due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In forwardToPreferredActionPickHandler of ContactsPickerActivity.kt, there is a possible intent redirection due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Unintended proxy or intermediary in Azure Arc allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network.
LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. From 1.87.0 until 1.100.4, 1.101.3, 1.102.2, 1.103.1, and 1.104.0-rc.2, the proxy reuses one cryptographic context for at-rest secrets and session tokens, allowing an authenticated internal user to have crafted metadata containing a forged administrator credential encrypted and returned by the API-key flow. Replaying that ciphertext as a bearer token causes the proxy to trust the forged proxy administrator identity, permitting administrative access and arbitrary commands through the MCP stdio endpoint. Versions 1.87.0 through 1.90.x require EXPERIMENTAL_UI_LOGIN to be enabled, while versions after 1.91.0 are exploitable in the default configuration. This issue was fixed in LiteLLM 1.100.4, 1.101.3, 1.102.2, 1.103.1, and 1.104.0-rc.2.
Coder before 2.29.21, 2.30.0 before 2.34.12, 2.35.0 before 2.35.9, 2.36.0 before 2.36.7, and 2.37.0 before 2.37.4 does not validate the audience claim of GCE instance-identity JWTs at the POST /api/v2/workspaceagents/google-instance-identity endpoint. Attackers who obtain an unexpired format=full identity token minted for another relying party can replay it to obtain that workspace agent's session token, which remains valid until the workspace's next build.
