CVSS v3.1 |
| An out-of-bounds write (OOW) condition in the AMD Compressonator SDK could allow an attacker with local access to supply a specially crafted DirectDraw Surface (DDS) file to a user or an automated pipeline, potentially resulting in heap corruption or denial of service (DoS). |
| GeoNode is a geospatial content management system, a platform for the management and publication of geospatial data. Prior to 5.1.0, a crafted vector file layer name supplied during upload allows a low-privileged remote user to inject shell syntax and execute arbitrary operating-system commands on the GeoNode server. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.0. |
| Monitoring Plugins is a suite of plugins for monitoring applications. From 3.0.0-rc1 until 3.0.1, check_icmp stores the number of hosts supplied through -H or --Host on the command line, or through --extra-opts files containing Host= entries, in an unsigned short. More than 65,535 hosts wrap the counter, causing process_arguments() to allocate an undersized hosts array and then write subsequent entries out of bounds before main() calls setuid(getuid()). On installations where check_icmp is setuid root, a local low-privileged attacker can corrupt heap memory while the process still has root privileges; reliable privilege escalation has not been demonstrated. Installations that use cap_net_raw file capabilities instead of setuid are not exposed to the privilege-escalation consequence. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.1. |
| TinyUSB through 0.21.0, fixed in commit e85c2b8, contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the MTP device class helper mtp_container_get_string() in src/class/mtp/mtp.h that allows a malicious USB host to corrupt adjacent memory by supplying a crafted MTP string with an unbounded character count. Attackers can exploit the unchecked memcpy operation copying up to 510 bytes into a fixed-size destination buffer to achieve code execution or cause a denial of service on the TinyUSB MTP device. |
| A memory-handling flaw in the MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC Driver can cause values returned for a query to be written outside the bounds of a buffer provided by the calling application. A party able to influence the values a query returns may cause data to be placed at an unintended location in the client application's memory, which may result in unintended modification of that memory or termination of the client process. Reaching this condition depends on a specific, application-chosen way of requesting several result rows at once. |
| The Core Temp kernel driver provided by ALCPU is vulnerable to insufficient access control in an exposed IOCTL, which may allow physical memory to be read or written. |
| tsParticles is a TypeScript library for creating highly customizable particle animations. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.2, the stable publish workflow interpolates steps.release.outputs.body directly into an echo command in Bash source before writing RAW_RELEASE.md. Contributor-controlled shell metacharacters in generated release-note text can therefore execute when a maintainer starts a stable release, allowing modification of generated artifacts or workspace scripts and affecting later release steps that hold GITHUB_TOKEN and write permissions. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.2. |
| Memory Corruption when processing firmware update data in Download mode due to a missing bounds check. |
| Unbounded memory allocation and missing frame size validation in Apache NMS ActiveMQ (the .NET OpenWire client, package Apache.NMS.ActiveMQ) before 2.3.0.
The OpenWire unmarshalling code trusted the frame size and the length and count fields read from the network. It did not enforce a maximum frame size, and it did not check that decoded lengths fit within the frame being read. A malicious or compromised broker, or an attacker able to intercept and modify an unencrypted connection, could send a crafted OpenWire frame with an oversized or negative length. This could cause the client to attempt very large memory allocations, leading to excessive memory consumption, an OutOfMemoryException or an uncaught exception, and a denial of service of the client application.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.3.0, which enforces a configurable maximum frame size and validates lengths against the size of the frame being read. |
| libmt32emu before 2.8.4 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in MidiStreamParserImpl::parseSysex that allows attackers to write past a heap allocation by supplying oversized unterminated SysEx messages. Attackers can feed more than 32768 SysEx data bytes through the mt32emu_parse_stream API via MIDI files, ports, or sequencer clients to corrupt heap memory and crash the application. |
| CESNET ipfixcol2 2.7.1 before 2.9.0 contains a heap-based buffer overflow in Lz4Decoder.cpp that allows unauthenticated network peers to write past heap buffers. Attackers can declare a small ring buffer_size followed by a large decompressed_size to write up to 65535 controlled bytes and crash the collector. |
| CESNET ipfixcol2 2.7.1 before 2.9.0 contains a memory allocation vulnerability in Lz4Decoder::read_start_header() that allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust memory by declaring unbounded ring buffer sizes. Attackers can open TCP connections sending LZ4 start headers with very large buffer sizes, forcing up to 4 GiB allocations per connection and denying collector service. |
| OS command injection in the example SSM document provisioning script in Trusted Remote Execution (REX) before 2026-07-28 might allow an authenticated remote user who is permitted to invoke the Rex-RO or Rex-RW SSM document to execute arbitrary commands as root on the managed instance, bypassing Cedar policy enforcement.
To remediate this issue, users should delete any Rex-RO and Rex-RW SSM documents created from the example script, in each account and Region where it was run. |
| Out-of-bounds memory access in a device driver due to improper resource state tracking. |
| In the Samsung Exynos ENN NeuralNetworks HAL, improper input validation during request processing can cause memory corruption and lead to a denial of service condition. |
| Insufficient length validation in the GNSS firmware loader may lead to corruption of kernel memory. |
| In the Samsung Exynos NPU driver, improper validation of user input in the ioctl handler can lead to an out-of-bounds write, which causes a denial of service. |
| In the baseband, memory corruption during NAS packet processing can cause a denial of service. |
| An OS Command Injection vulnerability was discovered in the Google Cloud DNS validation module of the OPNsense os-acme-client plugin through 4.17. The DnsGcloud::prepare() method decodes the dns_gcloud_key model field and directly interpolates the string fields gcloud_account and gcloud_project into a shell command passed to proc_open() via LeUtils::run_shell_command() without any validation or escaping. A remote authenticated user with privileges to issue or renew certificates through the WebGUI/API can achieve arbitrary code execution as root. |
| SDL_mixer 3.1.2 through 3.2.4 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in FetchXLaw() of src/decoder_wav.c when decoding A-law or mu-law WAV files. Attackers can supply a crafted WAV file whose doubly-offset float expansion overwrites about 1 KB of adjacent stack memory, causing crashes or potentially code execution. |
