| CVE-2026-104874 | 1 Aio-libs | 1 Multidict | 2026-10-05 | 5.3 Medium |
| Multidict is an implementation of a multidict data structure. From 6.7.0 until 6.9.1, the C extension's items-view reflected union operation, operand | d.items(), in multidict_itemsview_or2_impl and subtraction operation, d.items() - operand, in multidict_itemsview_sub1_impl fail to release new key-identity and value references returned for each operand element. Applications that perform these operations over attacker-influenced sequences can leak two strong references per element, and garbage collection cannot reclaim them, so repeated operations can cause unbounded process memory growth and denial of service. Forward union, intersection, non-tuple operand elements, and pure-Python builds are not affected by this reference leak. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73550 | 1 Envoyproxy | 1 Envoy | 2026-10-05 | 7.5 High |
| Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1, Envoy copies every decoded HTTP/2 Host header value before discarding it when :authority is already present. The discarded value bypasses saveHeader, so its bytes and count are not charged against request header limits. An unauthenticated client can use HPACK indexing to submit many references to a large Host value across a bounded number of streams, forcing extreme header-copy allocation and causing the proxy to be out-of-memory killed. The relevant scope boundary is that the demonstrated amplification uses HTTP/2 HPACK and the duplicate Host discard behavior. This issue is fixed in versions 1.36.10, 1.37.6, 1.38.4, and 1.39.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-97921 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Free histogram the field rejected for a bad modifier Writing a hist trigger whose value or variable carries a modifier that is not allowed there leaks the fields that were built for it. __create_val_field() takes the field from parse_expr() and stores it in hist_data->fields[] only after the modifier checks have run: hist_field = parse_expr(hist_data, file, field_str, flags, var_name, &n_subexprs); ... if (hist_field->flags & HIST_FIELD_FL_VAR) { if (hist_field->flags & (...)) goto err; } else { if (hist_field->flags & (...)) goto err; } hist_data->fields[val_idx] = hist_field; Both checks jump past that store, and the err label returns without freeing anything. The error unwinds to create_hist_data(), which calls destroy_hist_data() -> destroy_hist_fields(), and that reaches a field only by walking fields[]. A field that never got there is unreachable. commit e0213434fe3e ("tracing: Do not let histogram values have some modifiers") set ret to -EINVAL and fell through to the store, which left the field owned by fields[] and freed along with the rest of hist_data. Splitting the check into a value case and a variable case replaced that fall-through with a goto that skips it. With CONFIG_DEBUG_KMEMLEAK, 200 writes of # echo 'hist:keys=prev_pid:vals=next_pid.log2' > \ events/sched/sched_switch/trigger each correctly rejected with -EINVAL, leave 332 unreferenced objects (63744 bytes) reported at create_hist_field(); 200 install and remove cycles of a valid trigger leave none. A '.log2' field is two allocations, since create_hist_field() puts the plain field in operands[0] of the log2 field, and both are reported. Use destroy_hist_field() rather than __destroy_hist_field() so that operands[0] is freed as well. It returns early for HIST_FIELD_FL_VAR_REF, which is what an operand owned by hist_data->var_refs[] needs; the rejected field itself is never a var ref, because a var ref never carries a modifier flag. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40979 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-03 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix kernel crash during resume Currently during resume, QMI target memory is not properly handled, resulting in kernel crash in case DMA remap is not supported: BUG: Bad page state in process kworker/u16:54 pfn:36e80 page: refcount:1 mapcount:0 mapping:0000000000000000 index:0x0 pfn:0x36e80 page dumped because: nonzero _refcount Call Trace: bad_page free_page_is_bad_report __free_pages_ok __free_pages dma_direct_free dma_free_attrs ath12k_qmi_free_target_mem_chunk ath12k_qmi_msg_mem_request_cb The reason is: Once ath12k module is loaded, firmware sends memory request to host. If suspend is triggered, firmware will be reloaded during resume. As same as before, firmware requests two large segments at first. In ath12k_qmi_msg_mem_request_cb() segment count and size are assigned: ab->qmi.mem_seg_count == 2 ab->qmi.target_mem[0].size == 7077888 ab->qmi.target_mem[1].size == 8454144 Then allocation failed like before and ath12k_qmi_free_target_mem_chunk() is called to free all allocated segments. Note the first segment is skipped because its v.addr is cleared due to allocation failure: chunk->v.addr = dma_alloc_coherent() Also note that this leaks that segment because it has not been freed. While freeing the second segment, a size of 8454144 is passed to dma_free_coherent(). However remember that this segment is allocated at the first time firmware is loaded, before suspend. So its real size is 524288, much smaller than 8454144. As a result kernel found we are freeing some memory which is in use and thus cras ---truncated--- | ||||
| CVE-2023-53353 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/habanalabs: postpone mem_mgr IDR destruction to hpriv_release() The memory manager IDR is currently destroyed when user releases the file descriptor. However, at this point the user context might be still held, and memory buffers might be still in use. Later on, calls to release those buffers will fail due to not finding their handles in the IDR, leading to a memory leak. To avoid this leak, split the IDR destruction from the memory manager fini, and postpone it to hpriv_release() when there is no user context and no buffers are used. | ||||

| Apache Traffic Server leaks memory when handling HostDB SRV records. This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: from 8.0.0 through 8.1.11, from 9.0.0 through 9.2.14, from 10.0.0 through 10.1.3. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.15 or 10.1.4, which fix the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102762 | 1 Eclipse | 1 Netx Duo | 2026-09-30 | N/A |
| The NetX Duo MQTT client leaks the packet carrying a malformed PUBLISH message. Each malformed PUBLISH costs one packet, or one chain of packets, from the network driver's receive pool, and nothing returns it. A peer that can deliver a few dozen such messages exhausts the pool and stops all inbound network traffic on the device until it is rebooted. | ||||
| CVE-2026-47566 | 1 Nvidia | 6 Geforce, Guest Driver, Nvs and 3 more | 2026-09-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer where an unprivileged user could cause a memory leak in error paths leading to kernel memory exhaustion. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87078 | 1 Perl | 1 Net::idn::punycode | 2026-09-29 | 9.1 Critical |
| Net::IDN::Punycode versions from 2.302 before 2.590 for Perl leak the output buffer on every rejected label in decode_punycode. The XS backend allocates the scalar it returns before it validates the input, sizing the buffer at twice the input length. The scalar is released only on the success path, so each of the three croaks that reject a label leaves the scalar and its buffer allocated. Nothing bounds the label length in the to-Unicode direction, since the 63-byte DNS limit is checked only when converting to ASCII. Only the XS backend is affected. A sender who supplies invalid labels grows the process by twice the label length per rejected call, with no successful call needed. | ||||

| CVE-2026-63446 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-28 | 7.5 High |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, AppLayerParserSetTransactionInspectId() in src/app-layer-parser.c uses an inverted guard and marks only already-inspected transactions as inspected. On flows passed by a pass rule or pass-the-flow exception policy, detection is skipped, so completed transactions remain unmarked, are never freed, and are repeatedly rescanned. The per-flow list can grow without bound with quadratic cleanup cost, causing CPU and memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63448 | 1 Oisf | 1 Suricata | 2026-09-28 | 5.9 Medium |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, the SMB parser can retain force-completed transactions on flows where Suricata sees payload in only one direction, including async-oneside flows, because cleanup waits for inspection in the unseen direction. The transaction creation paths in rust/src/smb can exceed the intended SMB_MAX_TX bound, and cleanup repeatedly scans the growing list. Sustained one-directional SMB traffic can therefore cause unbounded per-flow state and CPU and memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17. | ||||
| CVE-2026-69809 | 1 Microsoft | 11 Windows 11 23h2, Windows 11 23h2, Windows 11 24h2 and 8 more | 2026-09-24 | 7.5 High |
| Missing release of memory after effective lifetime in Active Directory Domain Services allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. | ||||
| CVE-2026-56818 | 1 Netty | 1 Netty | 2026-09-23 | 6.5 Medium |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final, the RedisArrayAggregator Redis codec clears retained partial aggregate state when the maxNestedArrayDepth limit is exceeded, but it does not clear the same state when the sibling maxElements limit is exceeded. A peer can start a valid RESP array, send a bulk string child, then send a nested array header longer than the configured maxElements. Netty throws a decoder exception in decodeRedisArrayHeader, but the existing partial aggregate remains retained in the handler. If the application leaves the channel alive after the exception, later messages are still consumed into the pre-error aggregate, allowing an unauthenticated peer to keep attacker-controlled aggregate state alive across a security-limit exception and pin retained pooled buffers. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final. | ||||
| CVE-2026-94627 | 1 Vllm | 1 Vllm | 2026-09-22 | 7.5 High |
| vLLM Mooncake connector through 0.29.0 fails to properly manage GPU KV cache block ownership when concurrent child requests share a single transfer ID in prefill/decode disaggregated deployments. Attackers can trigger GPU memory exhaustion by submitting completion requests with multiple prompts, causing orphaned KV cache blocks to accumulate until process restart and eventually preventing legitimate requests from executing. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93436 | 1 Vllm | 1 Vllm | 2026-09-22 | 7.5 High |
| vLLM through 0.29.0 fails to properly clean up decode-side metadata for rejected inference requests in prefill/decode disaggregated deployments. Remote attackers can submit requests with max_tokens=0 to exhaust decode-worker memory without bound until the worker restarts. | ||||
