| CVE-2026-79976 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-11-04 | 7.1 High |
| The MCTP-over-I2C+GPIO target binding in subsys/pmci/mctp/mctp_i2c_gpio_target.c emulates a small pseudo-register file, where the bus controller first writes a register number and then writes or reads payload bytes. The selected register (b->reg_addr) and the data-phase flag (b->rxtx) were never cleared when the controller issued an I2C STOP, so after a completed transfer the target still had a data register selected while the packet buffer that register refers to had already been consumed and set to NULL by mctp_i2c_gpio_target_stop(). A controller on the bus can re-enter the same branch of mctp_i2c_gpio_target_stop() with a NULL buffer using two ordinary transactions and no authentication: first a normal packet write to MCTP_I2C_GPIO_RX_MSG_ADDR followed by STOP (which delivers and frees b->rx_pkt), then a bare read transaction followed by STOP. The failing read_requested() call leaves the stale state untouched and the I2C driver still delivers the STOP callback, which then calls mctp_bus_rx() with a NULL packet. The symmetric case exists on the transmit side, where the stale MCTP_I2C_GPIO_TX_MSG_ADDR selection dereferences b->tx_pkt->end after b->tx_pkt has been cleared and additionally signals b->tx_complete a second time, causing the next outbound packet to be dropped. The dereference happens in the I2C target interrupt handler, so on any target that traps accesses to address 0 the result is a fatal exception and a device reset or halt — a denial of service inflicted by any device able to act as controller on the shared management bus (for example compromised firmware on a peer MCTP endpoint or on the BMC). On parts where address 0 is readable, the impact degrades to a malformed packet buffer being handed to the MCTP stack and lost transmit packets. No attacker-controlled value is written and no confidentiality or integrity boundary is crossed. The fix resets b->reg_addr to MCTP_I2C_GPIO_INVALID_ADDR and clears b->rxtx at every STOP, so a new register must be selected before any data phase can run again. Only builds that opt into the experimental CONFIG_MCTP subsystem with CONFIG_MCTP_I2C_GPIO_TARGET=y are affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-10593 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-11-04 | 6.5 Medium |
| The Zephyr Bluetooth LE Audio Basic Audio Profile (BAP) unicast client mishandles peer-supplied ASE state notifications. In unicast_client_ep_qos_state() (subsys/bluetooth/audio/bap_unicast_client.c), the handler writes attacker-controlled QoS fields (interval, framing, phy, sdu, rtn, latency, pd) through the stream->qos pointer with only a stream != NULL guard. stream->qos is NULL for any stream that has been codec-configured via bt_bap_stream_config() but not yet added to a unicast group (it is set only by unicast_group_add_stream()). A malicious or buggy remote ASCS server, to which the local device is connected as a BAP unicast client, can send a GATT notification announcing the ASE has entered the QoS Configured state while the local endpoint is still in the Codec Configured state — a transition the dispatcher explicitly permits — during that window, causing a write through a NULL pointer and a crash (denial of service). The data written is itself remote-controlled. The defect shipped in v4.3.0 and v4.4.0 (and earlier). The fix re-points all BAP QoS storage to the always-valid embedded ep->qos struct, eliminating the NULL dereference. | ||||
| CVE-2021-4043 | 2 Debian, Gpac | 2 Debian Linux, Gpac | 2026-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |

| CVE-2025-62848 | 2 Qnap, Qnap Systems Inc. | 4 Qts, Quts Hero, Qts and 1 more | 2026-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability has been reported to affect several QNAP operating system versions. The remote attackers can then exploit the vulnerability to launch a denial-of-service (DoS) attack. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following versions: QTS 5.2.7.3297 build 20251024 and later QuTS hero h5.2.7.3297 build 20251024 and later QuTS hero h5.3.1.3292 build 20251024 and later | ||||
| CVE-2026-120758 | 1 Hdfgroup | 1 Hdf5 | 2026-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| HDF5 through 2.2.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in H5HL_unprotect() in src/H5HL.c. H5HL_protect() pins a single metadata cache entry for a local heap, either the heap prefix or the separate data block, and H5HL_unprotect() unpins it on the final unprotect. When the metadata cache destroys a corrupted local heap entry, H5HL__prfx_dest() unlinks it from the heap by setting heap->prfx or heap->dblk to NULL. A crafted HDF5 file can therefore reach H5HL_unprotect() with no cached object to unpin, and the function passes the NULL pointer to H5AC_unpin_entry(). This causes an assertion failure in debug builds and a NULL pointer dereference and crash in release builds. An attacker who can get a user or application to open and traverse a malicious file can cause a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-120955 | 1 Mongodb | 1 C Driver | 2026-11-03 | 7.5 High |
| The GridFS file download API in the MongoDB C Driver does not check the result of an internal operation under certain error conditions during file retrieval. This can cause the process to terminate when stream operations continue. A user who can influence file download parameters can trigger this condition, which may result in service unavailability for applications using the affected API. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99220 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: asymmetric_keys: reject trust keys without IDs The PKCS#8 parser deliberately leaves the asym_key_ids payload slot empty. key_or_keyring_common() unconditionally dereferences that slot when a PKCS#8 key is supplied to a key_or_keyring restriction. Both the plain and :chain forms reach this branch, allowing an unprivileged caller to trigger a NULL pointer dereference through KEYCTL_RESTRICT_KEYRING followed by add_key(). | CVE-2026-113906 | 1 Apple | 3 Ios And Ipados, Ipados, Iphone Os | 2026-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| A null pointer dereference was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2. An attacker in physical proximity may be able to cause a denial-of-service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115297 | 1 Elastic | 1 Packetbeat | 2026-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| NULL Pointer Dereference (CWE-476) in the AMQP protocol parser in Packetbeat can lead to denial of service via specially crafted network traffic. An unauthenticated attacker who can send traffic on a network segment that Packetbeat monitors for AMQP can cause a Go runtime panic that terminates the Packetbeat process. A single crafted packet is sufficient. No AMQP authentication is necessary. While Packetbeat is not running, it does not collect network telemetry. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76166 | 1 Redhat | 7 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform Expansion Pack, Jboss Enterprise Web Server and 4 more | 2026-11-03 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in mod_cluster's AdvertiseListenerImpl (org.jboss.modcluster core module). A single crafted UDP multicast datagram with a valid HTTP status line and a "Server:" header but without the "Date:", "Digest:", and "Sequence:" headers triggers a NullPointerException in verifyDigest() that is not caught by the worker thread's exception handler. This causes the advertise listener thread to terminate permanently. The failure is silent (isListening() continues to return true) and persists until the node is restarted. The crash occurs before the AdvertiseSecurityKey comparison, so deployments with a configured security key are still affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-121401 | 1 Freerdp | 1 Freerdp | 2026-11-03 | 4.3 Medium |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability where rdg_process_packet dispatches a PKT_TYPE_EXTENDED_AUTH_MSG without verifying negotiated mode or auth context. A malicious or compromised RD Gateway can send the extended-auth packet before tunnel authentication, triggering a null-pointer dereference that crashes the client. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118778 | 1 Digitalbazaar | 1 Forge | 2026-11-03 | 5.9 Medium |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used forge.tls.createConnection(), c.session.serverCertificate, RSA key exchange to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's TLS client checked the wrong property when deciding whether a server certificate was missing. A malicious TLS server or on-path peer could omit the Certificate message and reach code that dereferenced the absent certificate, causing an uncaught exception and terminating the connection or process. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43603 | 2026-11-03 | N/A | ||
| A NULL pointer dereference in the Linux GPU driver could potentially lead to a kernel crash and result in denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82946 | 1 Rt-labs Ab | 1 Soem | 2026-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| SOEM version 2.0.0 and earlier contains a vulnerability where a malicious device can crash the master system. When the software receives an error response, it clears an internal pointer but continues processing. If another message arrives before timeout, the software attempts to use the cleared pointer, causing a crash. An attacker can trigger this with a simple sequence of two messages. | ||||
| CVE-2026-116740 | 1 Netsurf-browser | 1 Libcss | 2026-11-03 | 6.5 Medium |
| libcss through 0.9.2 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in mq_parse_media_query() that allows remote attackers to crash consumers by supplying media lists ending in a comma. Attackers can serve a stylesheet whose @media or @import media list has a trailing comma, causing NetSurf or other parsers to crash. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99257 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-03 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: shared: gracefully handle no-device lookup of shared GPIOs We use platform lookup tables for shared GPIOs. This mechanism needs a struct device to work so fwnode-based lookup with no device associated currently causes a NULL-pointer deference. Adding this functionality will require a larger rework and it has never worked anyway so add a check that allows the kernel to gracefully handle this situation with an error ahead of implementing that functionality as a new feature. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99247 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-03 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Do not initialize tracefs work if tracing is disabled If trace buffer allocation fails during early boot (e.g. in early_trace_init() -> allocate_trace_buffers()), tracing_disabled is left set to 1 and the global trace array events list remains uninitialized. Later during boot, tracer_init_tracefs() (invoked via fs_initcall) queues tracerfs_init_work asynchronously without checking if tracing was disabled. When tracer_init_tracefs_work_func() runs, it calls event_trace_init() and init_tracer_tracefs(&global_trace, NULL) unconditionally. This leads to __find_event_file() dereferencing an uninitialized tr->events list, causing an early boot NULL pointer dereference Oops: BUG: Kernel NULL pointer dereference on read at 0x00000010 Faulting instruction address: 0xc000000000485be0 Oops: Kernel access of bad area, sig: 7 [#1] ... | CVE-2026-99072 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-03 | 4.7 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: stop route notification sizing when nexthop group shrinks Commit 680aea08e78c ("net: ipv4: Emit notification when fib hardware flags are changed") added an RCU-only fib_nlmsg_size() call for asynchronous hardware flag notifications. fib_nlmsg_size() checks fib_info_num_path() before each iteration, then fib_info_nhc() independently reloads nh->nh_grp. If RTM_NEWNEXTHOP replaces a group with fewer paths between those loads, fib_info_nhc() returns NULL and fib_nexthop_nlmsg_size() dereferences it. Stop sizing when the indexed path is absent. Nexthop groups are dense, so the current snapshot has no later path. | ||||
