CVSS v3.1 |
In hide of WindowState.java, there is a possible way to trick the user into approving permissions due to a tapjacking/overlay attack. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In createSessionInternal of PackageInstallerService.java, there is a possible way for an app to update its ownership due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In handleBondStateChanged of AdapterService.java, there is a possible sensitive information disclosure due to a permissions bypass. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In multiple functions of PackageInstallerService.java, there is a possible way to install unverified apps due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Vulnerability in the WebCenter Content: Imaging product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Core). The supported version that is affected is 14.1.2.0.0. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via SOAP to compromise WebCenter Content: Imaging. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all WebCenter Content: Imaging accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all WebCenter Content: Imaging accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.8 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N).
In multiple functions of AppOpsService.java, there is a possible missing permission check due to a permissions bypass. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
| A flaw was found in CRIU's handling of restartable sequences (rseq) during checkpoint/restore. A malicious process inside a container can register an rseq critical section that hijacks CRIU's parasite code injection during checkpoint, allowing it to spoof the process credentials saved in the checkpoint image. On restore, the container process gains elevated capabilities and zeroed UIDs/GIDs.
The practical impact on Red Hat products is limited by several factors: checkpoint/restore requires root privileges (podman) or cluster-admin RBAC (OpenShift) to trigger and cannot be initiated from within the container itself; on OpenShift prior to 4.17 the feature required explicit opt-in, and on 4.17+ the kubelet checkpoint API RBAC is not configured by default; OpenShift enforces user namespaces by default for regular workloads (hostUsers is gated behind admin-only SCCs), which makes the spoofed capabilities namespace-scoped and ineffective for privilege escalation; SELinux type enforcement (container_t) blocks privilege transitions independently of capabilities; seccomp filters persist through checkpoint/restore and cannot be corrupted via the parasite; and kernel mount namespace ownership checks on RHEL 9/10 kernels prevent mount-based container escape even with spoofed capabilities. |
In multiple functions of VirtualAudioControllerTest.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Immich is a self-hosted photo and video management solution. Prior to 3.0.3, an authenticated user with editor access to a shared album can change the existing owner's role because album member role updates do not protect the owner from modification. By demoting the owner and then promoting themselves, an editor can take ownership of the album, remove the original owner, and delete the album. This vulnerability is fixed in version 3.0.3.
The Mail logging & Catcher plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.0 via the 'message' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract valid administrator password-reset keys from stored email logs and complete the WordPress password-reset flow to escalate privileges to administrator. Exploitation requires an administrator to have previously configured the plugin's default_view_role setting to a capability held by low-privileged users such as 'read'; on an untouched install the default of 'manage_options' restricts log access to administrators only.
Privilege escalation in the Toolkit component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159, Firefox ESR 153.6, Thunderbird 159, and Thunderbird 153.6.
Kyverno from 1.19.1 before 1.19.2 contains a namespace isolation bypass in APICall Fetch() in pkg/engine/apicall/apiCall.go because path.Clean treats '?' as a path character, letting the namespace regex match segments inside the query string. Users who can create namespaced policies can supply a URLPath like /api/v1/nodes?x=/namespaces/default/ that passes validation while client-go requests the cluster-scoped endpoint, reading resources outside their namespace.
Vulnerability in the Siebel Apps - Marketing product of Oracle Siebel CRM (component: Marketing). Supported versions that are affected are 17.0-26.9. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Siebel Apps - Marketing executes to compromise Siebel Apps - Marketing. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Siebel Apps - Marketing accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Siebel Apps - Marketing accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Siebel Apps - Marketing. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 3.9 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L).
IXP Manager is a full-stack web application for managing Internet Exchange Points. Prior to version 7.3.0, an authenticated, non-administrative user can elevate their privileges to administrator status. Restricting administrative functions reduces exposure but is not a complete fix. This issue is fixed in version 7.3.0.
Shopper is a Headless e-commerce Admin Panel. In versions from 2.0.0 prior to 2.10.1 and in the 3.0.0 prereleases beta.1 and beta.2, authenticated back-office staff with a content-upload permission can store executable media on the administrator's own origin. In the 2.x implementation, relevant upload permissions include `edit_products` or `add_brands`, and `packages/admin/config/media.php` allows `image/svg+xml` in every media collection, including image fields whose image/* validation also accepts SVG. The product files collection in `packages/admin/src/Livewire/Components/Products/Form/Files.php` has no MIME restriction and accepts `text/html` as well. Media is served inline from the `public` disk under `/storage/` with its own content type, without `Content-Disposition: attachment` or a `Content-Security-Policy`. When an administrator opens an uploaded HTML or SVG file, stored script executes in that administrator's session. In 2.x, the script can invoke `packages/admin/src/Livewire/SlideOvers/CreateTeamMember.php`, whose `store()` checks `access_setting` held by the viewing administrator but trusts client-supplied `role_id`, to create a new attacker-controlled administrator with a chosen password. This account persists after the uploaded file is deleted and gives access to customer data, orders, settings, and user/role management; the same script can exfiltrate data or grant permissions to the attacker's account. Direct account creation by the low-privileged uploader is blocked, so exploitation requires the administrator to open the file. The 3.x prerelease line already excludes SVG but still allows executable product files. This issue is fixed in versions 2.10.1 and 3.0.0-beta.3.
Kargo manages and automates the promotion of software artifacts. From 0.6.0 until 1.8.14, 1.9.9, and 1.10.8, two authorization flaws in the `project-scoped RBAC API` let an authenticated user with delegated permission to manage a Project's `Roles` or `ServiceAccounts` confer permissions exceeding the user's own. A user authorized to edit `Roles` can create, replace, or add rules granting permissions not held by the user; a user authorized to edit a Role's ServiceAccount can bind an identity, including the user's own, to a more powerful Role. A Kargo Role comprises a `ServiceAccount, Role, and RoleBinding` in the Project namespace. Changes are written using the API server's broadly privileged credentials after only a coarse resource-kind edit check, rather than checking each permission being conferred. This permits escalation to Project-administrator access, disclosure of `Project Secrets` and credentials, and modification or deletion of Project resources. Stolen Git, container-registry, or Helm-registry credentials can extend confidentiality and integrity impacts to those external systems. Escalation remains limited to Projects where the attacker already has RBAC-management delegation and does not itself grant cluster-wide or cross-Project access. Default non-administrator roles do not permit these operations; exploitation requires an `administrator-created custom role` granting the relevant permissions and control of an account assigned that role. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.14, 1.9.9, and 1.10.8.
Kyverno from 1.17.0 before 1.19.2 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows namespace-scoped tenants to modify resources in other namespaces through NamespacedMutatingPolicy targetMatchConstraints.expression CEL output lacking namespace checks. Attackers can emit a literal target such as another tenant's RoleBinding, which the cluster-wide background controller then mutates to add attacker subjects or alter Roles, NetworkPolicies, and ConfigMaps.
Kyverno before 1.19.2 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows namespace admins to create resources beyond their RBAC because generate-rule admission checks verify the controller's permissions, not the author's. Attackers can create a namespaced Policy with generate rules targeting other namespaces or cluster-scoped kinds, making the background controller create or clone resources cluster-wide.
A flaw was found in crun. When crun is built with libkrun and a container is started rootful with passt networking (krun.use_passt), crun can execute attacker-controlled payload from the container image with host root privileges. The issue is a regression in crun 1.29. It affects crun >= 1.29
A vulnerability was determined in yangzongzhuan RuoYi-Vue up to 3.9.2. This issue affects the function SysPermissionService.getMenuPermission of the file SysPermissionService.java of the component Permission Service. This manipulation of the argument perms causes improper privilege management. The attack may be initiated remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
