CVSS v3.1 |
| draw.io Desktop is the official Electron build of draw.io. Prior to 31.5.2, the Windows application launched powershell and attrib by bare executable name from src/main/electron.js. When draw.io Desktop was not already running, opening a diagram from File Explorer made the diagram directory the current working directory, allowing a colocated attacker-controlled powershell.bat or attrib.exe to be resolved before the intended system executable. A victim who extracted an attacker-supplied archive and cold-opened its legitimate .drawio file could therefore execute attacker-controlled code when Local Fonts were enabled or when draft or backup attributes were updated. This issue is fixed in version 31.5.2. |
| The `/{username}` web route accepted personal access tokens over HTTP Basic authentication without checking their scope. A token confined to an unrelated scope, such as `read:issue`, could read its owner's private activity through the user RSS/Atom feed and the profile activity tab, and other members' activity in a private organization through the organization feed; a public-only token could list the owner's private repositories and organizations and render private profile READMEs. For a site administrator's token this applied to every account. Tokens are now accepted on this route only for feeds, which require `read:user` or `read:organization`. |
| The web profile and RSS/Atom feed routes of users and organizations checked only whether a signed-in viewer could see a limited-visibility owner, without considering the `public-only` restriction of the personal access token used to authenticate. Any user holding a public-only token could send it over HTTP Basic authentication to read the profile and activity feed of limited-visibility users and organizations, which are hidden from anonymous visitors and refused on the equivalent API routes. The disclosure covers existence, profile metadata and public activity; it does not grant write access. |
| Metalama is a Roslyn-based open-source patterns and architecture toolkit for C#. Prior to 2025.1.18, 2026.0.25 and 2026.1.19, Metalama.Framework and Metalama.Tool load and execute compile-time assemblies, auxiliary executable tools and embedded helper assemblies from predictable temporary directories. On `Linux` and `macOS`, the default `Path.GetTempPath()` location is world-writable, and existing artifacts are trusted based on sentinel or `.completed` marker files rather than integrity verification. A local unprivileged user on a shared machine or CI/build agent can pre-create the deterministic directory structure and plant a malicious DLL with the matching sentinel. When a higher-privileged developer or build account subsequently builds, Metalama skips regeneration and executes the planted artifact in the compiler, IDE or MSBuild process as the building user. This permits cross-user privilege escalation, reading source and secrets, supply-chain tampering with build output, or disrupting builds. Default Windows per-user temporary directories are protected by ACLs and are not affected. Deployer-selected insecure cache locations are outside the vulnerability's scope. This issue is fixed in versions 2025.1.18, 2026.0.25 and 2026.1.19. |
| YMS-VPN8 and YMS-VPN8-CP provided by Yamaha Corporation register Windows services with unquoted file paths. A user who has write permissions on the system drive may be able to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges. |
| The installer for Yamaha LAN Monitor for Windows provided by Yamaha Corporation may insecurely load Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs). When the installer is launched in a directory containing a specially crafted DLL file, the malicious DLL may be loaded, resulting in arbitrary code execution with administrative privileges. |
| Luxion KeyShot BIP File Parsing Uncontrolled Search Path Element Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Luxion KeyShot. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of BIP files. The issue results from loading a library from an unsecured location. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-29268. |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, Cisco has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in a software hardening release that addresses multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-76529 are related to improper protection of alternate path and are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) CWE-424. |
| A vulnerability has been found in the CPython `venv` module and CLI where path names provided when creating a virtual environment were not quoted properly, allowing the creator to inject commands into virtual environment "activation" scripts (ie "source venv/bin/activate"). This means that attacker-controlled virtual environments are able to run commands when the virtual environment is activated. Virtual environments which are not created by an attacker or which aren't activated before being used (ie "./venv/bin/python") are not affected. |
| Hubstaff 1.6.13 and 1.6.14 contain a DLL search order hijacking vulnerability that allows attackers to replace a missing system32 wow64log.dll with a malicious library. Attackers can generate a custom DLL using Metasploit and place it in the system32 directory to obtain a reverse shell during application startup. |
| Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. Prior to Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3, `ast_loggrabber` executes a `Python script` from the world-writable `/tmp` directory. An attacker already authorized to open a shell session on the Asterisk server may place a malicious script there and gain elevated privileges or execute code when an administrator runs `ast_loggrabber` as a user with elevated privileges. This issue is fixed in Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3. |
| A potential security vulnerability has been identified in HP One Agent for certain HP PC products, which might allow for escalation
of privilege and/or arbitrary code execution. HP is releasing software updates to mitigate the potential vulnerability. |
| Creative Cloud Desktop is affected by an Uncontrolled Search Path Element vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. A low-privileged attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| Untrusted search path in Servicing Stack Updates allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Untrusted search path in Windows Setup Files Cleanup allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows Setup Files Cleanup allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Untrusted search path in Windows Update Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications. From 2.0.0 until 2.6.0, enabling GatewayClient.url replaced the normal KernelWebsocketHandler with WebSocketChannelsHandler, which authenticated the user but did not call authorizer.is_authorized(...) for the execute action on the kernels resource. A restricted authenticated user could therefore open an upstream kernel channel and obtain kernel execution despite the configured Authorizer denying that action, exposing data and credentials available to the kernel and permitting modification or disruption of the kernel environment. The default gateway configuration is fixed in version 2.6.0. In 2.6.0 and later, the same authorization bypass remains possible when a deployment manually registers the deprecated jupyter_server.gateway.handlers module, because its handler still omits the configured kernel-execute authorization decision. |
| No cwe for this issue in Windows Schannel allows an unauthorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network. |
| Studio 5000 Logix Designer 30.01.00 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the FactoryTalk Activation Service that allows local users to potentially execute code with elevated privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockwell Software\FactoryTalk Activation\ to inject malicious code that would execute with LocalSystem permissions. |
