CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw in the Node.js `zlib.ZipFile` API can cause it to return bytes that do not belong to the requested entry after the local and central header validation fails.
When `zipEntry.modified` is read on an archive whose local header does not match its central directory, either directly or while compacting the archive, the validation error is caught but the parsed local header is left cached without a content offset. A later content read then returns attacker-controlled bytes from the start of the file instead of rejecting the archive, and CRC-32 verification still passes because the attacker controls the central directory CRC. A Node.js-based scanner can therefore approve different content from what another ZIP implementation extracts from the same archive.
This vulnerability affects Node.js **26.x**. |
| PHP has various global state that temporarily points into request memory. In some scenarios, global state may not be correctly reset, or may be repopulated after being reset. The global state may then refer to request memory even after it has been freed. Subsequent requests may read or branch on this stale state before it is fully initialized. Multiple strategies can trigger this condition and produce remote code execution (RCE). |
| PHP uses longjmp() for out-of-memory (OOM) errors to exit the current context and abort handling of the request. Some contexts may not properly account for this scenario and leave request memory in an uninitialized state before performing an allocation. The subsequent request cleanup procedure may read or branch on this memory. Multiple OOM strategies can consistently trigger this condition and lead to remote code execution (RCE). |
| In the RingRTC library before 2.72.0 for Signal, a peer that saturates a call's FSM queue can interfere with the ability of a local hangup to tear the call (with its audio and perhaps also video track) down. |
| Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in Drupal Permissions by Term allows Forceful Browsing. This issue affects Permissions by Term versions: from 0.0.0 to 3.1.41. |
| OpenVM is a performant and modular zkVM framework built for customization and extensibility. Before 1.7.0 in the 1.x line and in affected 2.0 and 2.1 prereleases, `OpenVmHalo2Verifier.verify` constructs raw proof calldata from user-controlled `proofData`, performs a `staticcall` to `address(this)`, and treats a successful call as proof acceptance. If the first four proof bytes match another external selector exposed by the wrapper, dispatch can invoke a successful non-verifier function instead of the generated Halo2 fallback verifier. Applications using the generated Solidity wrapper can consequently accept arbitrary app commitments and public values without checking the proof suffix, accumulator, app commitments or public values. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.0, 2.0.0-rc.3 and 2.1.0-preview. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tty: vcc: zero-initialize control packet in vcc_send_ctl()
The stack-allocated struct vio_vcc pkt was partially initialized,
leaving the tag.stype_env field uninitialized before being sent via
ldc_write(), potentially leaking kernel stack data to the LDC peer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Clear buf on error in __bpf_get_task_stack
Both bpf_get_task_stack and bpf_get_task_stack_sleepable helpers that
use __bpf_get_task_stack have buf defined as ARG_PTR_TO_UNINIT_MEM
argument and we should initialize the buf on every return path.
Adding missing buf memset for __bpf_get_task_stack fail paths. This
provides deterministic buffer contents, which is useful when the buffer
is used directly as a map key. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: do not leak an hci_conn when a second LE connect is rejected
create_le_conn_complete() decides whether the failed connection is
still pending by comparing it against hci_lookup_le_connect(), which
returns the first LE connection in BT_CONNECT. That is the same
connection only while at most one is pending.
Two can be pending. Connections created on the passive scan path sit
in BT_CONNECT with HCI_CONN_SCANNING set and are invisible to
hci_lookup_le_connect() until hci_le_create_conn_sync() clears the
flag when their command is issued, so the -EBUSY guard in
hci_connect_le() does not prevent a second connection from being
queued while the first is still on the scan path. Whenever two
connections are in BT_CONNECT at once, the lookup may return one
connection while create_le_conn_complete() is reporting the failure
of the other; the early exit then drops the error and hci_conn_failed()
never runs on the connection that failed.
The controller also rejects a second HCI_OP_LE_CREATE_CONN issued
while another connection creation is still outstanding, per Core Spec
Vol 4, Part E. The spec calls for Command Disallowed there; the
bcm43438 observed here answers with an LMP/LL error code instead,
which bt_to_errno() maps to the -EPROTO (-71) in the log below.
The leaked connection stays in BT_CONNECT forever, and because
hci_connect_le() refuses to dial while hci_lookup_le_connect() finds
anything, every subsequent attempt to reach any peer fails with
-EBUSY and no command reaches the controller at all.
Seen on a bcm43438 with two BLE peers polled on the same interval
(state 5 is BT_CONNECT; both handles are UNSET ones, allocated from
the ida above HCI_CONN_HANDLE_MAX):
Bluetooth: hci1: Opcode 0x2013 failed: -71
# hcitool con
< LE 14:9C:EF:03:68:81 handle 3840 state 5 lm CENTRAL
< LE C4:D3:6A:8C:B5:38 handle 3841 state 5 lm CENTRAL
A btmon capture across the next ten minutes of connect attempts
contains no HCI_OP_LE_CREATE_CONN at all; outgoing LE connections
do not recover until the adapter is reset. With this change the same
scenario fails the rejected connection cleanly and further connects
to both peers go through.
Ask about the connection itself instead of about the device. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/mlx5e: TC, Check if flow is PEER before acquiring devcom lock
In case __mlx5e_add_fdb_flow() fails in lower levels, the flow is
deleted via mlx5e_tc_del_flow(), and mlx5e_tc_del_flow() is acquiring
ESW devcom lock without condition. In addition, in case of peer_flow,
__mlx5e_add_fdb_flow() is called while holding ESW devcom comp lock.
This results in an AA deadlock.
To fix this, introduce a new PEER flag that is set on flows created as
peer flows (the duplicate flows on peer devices), and check it in
mlx5e_tc_del_flow() before acquiring ESW devcom lock.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs: refuse O_TMPFILE creation with an unmapped fsuid or fsgid
vfs_tmpfile() never checked that the caller's fsuid and fsgid map into
the filesystem. On an idmapped mount whose idmapping does not cover the
caller's fs{u,g}id, the ->tmpfile() instance initializes the new inode
through inode_init_owner(), where mapped_fsuid()/mapped_fsgid() return
INVALID_UID/INVALID_GID, and the tmpfile ends up owned by (uid_t)-1.
Every other creation path already refuses this: may_o_create() (O_CREAT)
and may_create_dentry() (mkdir, mknod, symlink, link) bail out with
-EOVERFLOW via fsuidgid_has_mapping() precisely so that an object cannot
be created with an owner the filesystem cannot represent. An O_TMPFILE
is no exception: it is created I_LINKABLE and linkat(2) can splice it
into the namespace afterwards, so the same guarantee must hold.
Add the missing fsuidgid_has_mapping() check to vfs_tmpfile(). On a
non-idmapped mount the caller's fs{u,g}id always map in the superblock's
user namespace, so this is a no-op there and only takes effect on an
idmapped mount that does not map the caller. It applies to every
filesystem that sets FS_ALLOW_IDMAP and implements ->tmpfile() (tmpfs,
ext4, btrfs, xfs, f2fs, ...), and to overlayfs, whose upper-layer
tmpfile creation funnels through vfs_tmpfile() via backing_tmpfile_open(). |

The root cause is: on a fuzzed image, blkaddr in nat entry may be
corrupted, then it will cause system panic when using it in
f2fs_invalidate_blocks(), to avoid this, let's add sanity check on
nat blkaddr in truncate_node(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: do not BUG_ON() when freeing tree block after error
When freeing a tree block, at btrfs_free_tree_block(), if we fail to
create a delayed reference we don't deal with the error and just do a
BUG_ON(). The error most likely to happen is -ENOMEM, and we have a
comment mentioning that only -ENOMEM can happen, but that is not true,
because in case qgroups are enabled any error returned from
btrfs_qgroup_trace_extent_post() (can be -EUCLEAN or anything returned
from btrfs_search_slot() for example) can be propagated back to
btrfs_free_tree_block().
So stop doing a BUG_ON() and return the error to the callers and make
them abort the transaction to prevent leaking space. Syzbot was
triggering this, likely due to memory allocation failure injection. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ice: Fix improper extts handling
Extts events are disabled and enabled by the application ts2phc.
However, in case where the driver is removed when the application is
running, a specific extts event remains enabled and can cause a kernel
crash.
As a side effect, when the driver is reloaded and application is started
again, remaining extts event for the channel from a previous run will
keep firing and the message "extts on unexpected channel" might be
printed to the user.
To avoid that, extts events shall be disabled when PTP is released. |
| A remote HTTP server can set a cookie that curl accepts and writes to a
Netscape cookie jar but cannot reload. On the next invocation using the same
path for `--cookie` and `--cookie-jar`, curl fails before connecting, then the
cleanup procedure replaces the jar with an empty file, deleting cookies for
unrelated domains. |
| Parse Server before 8.6.106 and 9.0.0 before 9.10.5-alpha.7 mishandles dot notation keys with null or undefined values when building the saved object, so a write is stored but returns an error and skips afterSave triggers and LiveQuery events. A client with write access can exploit this to evade audit logging, notifications, and derived data updates. |
| Wasmtime 47.0.0 before 48.0.6 and 49.0.0 before 49.0.3 contains a memory misalignment flaw in VMContext layout that causes undefined behavior when modules contain an odd number of exception tags. A WebAssembly module with an odd tag count misaligns subsequent host fields in embedders with exceptions enabled, although no exploitation path is currently known. |
| Motor.NET before 0.19.0 contains an uncaught exception vulnerability in JsonNetDeserializer.Deserialize that allows a remote attacker who can publish to a consumed queue or topic to crash the service permanently by sending structurally valid JSON that does not match the handler's expected type. Attackers can exploit the fact that JsonSerializationException is not caught alongside JsonReaderException and InvalidCastException, causing TypedConsumerService.SingleMessageConsumeAsync to treat the error as CriticalFailure and call StopApplication, which combined with the unacknowledged message being redelivered on restart results in a permanent crash-loop. |
