| The RTIO streaming completion callback adxl345_process_fifo_samples_cb() in drivers/sensor/adi/adxl345/adxl345_stream.c clamps the amount of FIFO data it will report (read_len = MIN(fifo_bytes, buf_avail)) to the space actually returned by rtio_sqe_rx_buf(), but then queues one 6-byte bus read per hardware FIFO entry at consecutive offsets from read_buf, bounded by the device-reported entry count rather than by the clamp. When the allocated buffer is smaller than a full batch, the driver writes up to 186 bytes past the end of the allocation; a companion defect left data->fifo_total_bytes un-reset at batch start, so an aborted or errored chain could leave a stale write offset that pushes the next batch's writes out of bounds as well.
A short buffer is an expected, first-class outcome of the RTIO allocator: rtio_block_pool_alloc() walks the requested size down one block at a time until a contiguous run is available, and the driver only demands sizeof(struct adxl345_fifo_data) + 6 bytes as its minimum. Any streaming configuration whose mempool block granularity is smaller than a full FIFO batch (204 bytes) — for example the sensor shell's RTIO_DEFINE_WITH_MEMPOOL(sensor_read_rtio, 8, 8, 32, 64, 4) used by sensor stream <dev> on fifo_wm incl, or the 16-byte-block streaming example in the documentation — takes this path whenever the pool is fragmented or the consuming thread falls behind.
The out-of-bounds writes are performed by the I2C/SPI RTIO backend (DMA on many SoCs) into the shared RTIO block pool, corrupting neighbouring live buffers or, for a pool smaller than one batch, memory beyond the pool itself. The written bytes are accelerometer samples and the destination follows the allocation, so there is no controllable corruption primitive: the realistic impact is silent corruption of other RTIO consumers' data or a crash. Reaching it requires a board with an interrupt-wired ADXL345 built with CONFIG_ADXL345_STREAM, plus buffer-pool starvation, which a co-resident local workload can induce but which also occurs spontaneously under load; there is no network, USB or radio path to this code. |
| Improper Neutralization of Special
Elements used in an OS Command (“OS Command Injection”) and Cross-Site Request
Forgery (CSRF) in an ASUS router model allow an attacker to trick a logged-in
administrator into visiting a phishing website, causing the router to execute
arbitrary commands with root privileges.
Refer to the '
Security Update for ASUS Router Firmware ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command in certain ASUS routers allows remote user to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges via crafted parameters sent to the router while the device is in its factory-default state.Refer to the ' Security Update for ASUS Router Firmware ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| A flaw was found in Wildfly. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trigger OutOfMemoryError as CSIv2Util's GSS token decoder reads an attacker-controlled length field without bounds checking and attempts to allocate a byte array of that size. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
spi: imx: fix slab corruption from undersized DMA bounce buffers
Since commit faa8e404ad8e ("spi: imx: support dynamic burst length for
ECSPI DMA mode"), the driver allocates its private DMA TX/RX buffers
with kzalloc(dma_len), where dma_len is only rounded up to 4 bytes, but
maps, syncs and unmaps them with DMA_CACHE_ALIGNED_LEN(dma_len), i.e.
rounded up to the cache line size. As a result, the DMA API operates on
memory beyond the end of the allocation.
This was observed on a custom i.MX8MP platform with an mcp251xfd CAN
controller under heavy RPMSG load, as a series of refcount_t warnings
triggered from rpmsg_recv_done() in virtio_rpmsg_bus:
refcount_t: addition on 0; use-after-free.
refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free.
refcount_t: saturated; leaking memory.
Leading finally to an "Unable to handle kernel paging request" oops.
Reproducing this problem took between 30 minutes and roughly 30 hours
under the same workload.
Hardware watchpoints on the refcount of a struct rpmsg_endpoint showed
it was overwritten from 2 to 1 by __pi_memcpy_generic() in the
irq/155-spi2.0 thread. Additionally it was found that a "normal"
rpmsg_recv_done() took 11µs +/-2µs from its kref_get to kref_put. In
the error case the same sequence took about 215µs +/-10µs. Based on
this, an LLM was used to identify the size mismatch fixed here.
Allocate the buffers with DMA_CACHE_ALIGNED_LEN(dma_len) so they cover
the full mapped length, and use the same length for
dma_sync_single_for_cpu() to stay consistent with map and unmap.
With this patch applied, the same workload ran for more than 200 hours
without the problem reproducing. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing: Keep the predicate limit separate from program capacity
predicate_parse() adds two to nr_preds to reserve the terminal TRUE
and FALSE entries. It also uses that increased value as the limit for
parsed predicates. If the initial count is smaller than the number
actually parsed, the program can fill the allocation and subsequent
accesses can go past its end.
Keep nr_preds as the predicate limit and use a separate value for the
allocation size. This leaves space for both terminal entries and a
zeroed entry when parsing stops at the limit. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: fix heap overflow in cifs_do_set_acl()
cifs_set_acl() validates ACL size using posix_acl_xattr_size():
4 + (count * 8) // 4-byte header + 8 bytes per ACE
cifs_do_set_acl() then calls posix_acl_to_cifs() to write the CIFS
wire format into the same buffer:
6 + (count * 10) // 6-byte header + 10 bytes per ACE
An ACL that passes the xattr-based check in cifs_set_acl() can
overflow the heap when posix_acl_to_cifs() writes the larger CIFS
format.
Validate the CIFS format size against the remaining buffer space and
USHRT_MAX before converting--data_count is __u16, so sizes above
USHRT_MAX truncate the on-wire packet length, causing the server to
apply a partial ACL. Replace MaxDataCount = 1000 with
min(CIFSMaxBufSize, USHRT_MAX). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing: Check operator stack capacity before pushing
predicate_parse() uses the first operator stack entry before processing
any opening parentheses. A push then increments top before writing.
The existing check still permits that write when top already points to
the last allocated entry, which can access beyond the operator stack.
Reject the push when top reaches the last allocated entry. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs: fix incorrect MFT record pointer passed to ntfs_attr_record_resize
ntfs_new_attr_flags() passes the wrong MFT record to ntfs_attr_record_resize().
When the attribute is in an extent record, ctx->mrec points to the extent
but the function receives the base record pointer m, causing incorrect
size calculations in memmove.
Fix by passing ctx->mrec (the actual MFT record containing the attribute)
instead of m (the base MFT record) to ntfs_attr_record_resize(). |
| OPNsense before 26.7.8 contains a command injection vulnerability that allows authenticated users with the System: Firmware privilege to execute commands as root by storing a malicious firmware mirror URL. Attackers can submit shell metacharacters through POST /api/core/firmware/set that opnsense-update evaluates with eval, and can also disable package signature verification through sed injection. |
| DevilutionX 1.4.0 through 1.5.5 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the bundled libmpq libmpq__archive_dup routine when opening crafted MPQ archives. Attackers can supply an MPQ archive whose block table count exceeds its hash table count, causing memcpy to overflow the heap during startup and crash the game. |
| FLTK through 1.4.5 contains an integer overflow vulnerability in Fl_BMP_Image::load_bmp_() that causes undersized pixel buffer allocation from file-supplied width and height. Attackers can supply a crafted BMP or ICO file with large dimensions so row decoding writes file-derived data past the heap buffer, corrupting the application heap. |
| A vulnerability was identified in Sunwood-ai-labs github-kanban-mcp-server up to 0.4.0. Impacted is the function handleListIssues of the file src/handlers/issue-handlers.ts. Such manipulation of the argument state/labels leads to os command injection. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 0.4.1 is recommended to address this issue. The name of the patch is 253d93bbdf7ee9fe42bd8fdf15feea93ae59cbae. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. |
| Dolibarr ERP CRM before 24.0.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in htdocs/admin/tools/export.php that lets authenticated administrators bypass the restrict_os_commands allowlist. Attackers can submit a mysqldump value chaining commands with & characters around an allowlisted basename to execute operating system commands as the web server user. |
| Crass is a Ruby CSS parser that's fully compliant with the CSS Syntax Level 3 specification. Prior to 1.0.7, Crass converts `CSS scientific notation` number values with unbounded exponentiation before clamping the result to `Float::MAX`. Applications that use Crass to parse attacker-controlled CSS strings can be forced to spend disproportionate CPU and memory parsing a tiny input, potentially resulting in a crash. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.7. |
| Yamaha wireless LAN router NWR100 provided by Yamaha Corporation contains an OS command injection vulnerability. Arbitrary OS commands may be executed by sending a specially crafted request to the affected product. |
| Paperclip 2026.403.0 before 2026.416.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows agent API key holders to set cleanupCommand and teardownCommand via PATCH /api/execution-workspaces/:id. When the workspace is archived, cleanupExecutionWorkspaceArtifacts runs these commands through a shell as the Paperclip server process, executing attacker-chosen OS commands on the server host. |
