CVSS v3.1 |
| Insufficiently Protected Credentials in tunnel gateway and provisioning interfaces in EagleCloud Aquila versions through 2.6.7.2 on on-premises platforms allows unauthenticated remote attackers to escalate privileges via authentication abuse to access the access keys, secret keys, and deployment secrets |
| A flaw was found in the community.general Ansible collection's nexmo module.
The module constructs HTTP requests to the Vonage/Nexmo SMS API by encoding
API credentials (api_key and api_secret) into URL query parameters and
sending them via GET requests. This causes credentials to be exposed in web
server access logs, proxy logs, HTTP Referer headers, and network monitoring
tools, despite the Ansible argument specification marking these parameters
as no_log. An attacker with access to any of these logging or monitoring
points can obtain the full API credentials and gain unauthorized access to
the victim's Vonage/Nexmo account. |
| Module: plugins/modules/keyring_info.py
CVSS 3.1: 5.5 MEDIUM — AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Issue: The module retrieves a passphrase from the OS native keyring (GNOME Keyring, macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager) and places it directly into result["passphrase"] with no output suppression, no no_log protection, and no documentation warning.
Root Cause:
Line 105 (protected): keyring_password=dict(type="str", required=True, no_log=True)
Line 127 (NOT protected): result["passphrase"] = passphrase
Observed Output:
{
"changed": false,
"passphrase": "MyMasterP@ssw0rd!SSH_Key_Secret"
}
Visible via register + debug:
{
"keyring_result": {
"changed": false,
"passphrase": "MyMasterP@ssw0rd!SSH_Key_Secret"
}
}
Impact:
Master passwords, SSH key passphrases and service credentials appear in all Ansible output
register: keyring_result followed by debug: var=keyring_result prints passphrase in full
Ansible fact caching backends (Redis, JSON file, memcached) may persist the passphrase
AWX/Tower job logs silently store the live credential
Fix:
module.exit_json(changed=False, passphrase=passphrase, _ansible_no_log=True)
Also add a documentation warning requiring callers to use no_log: true at the task level.

| A JNDI Injection vulnerability has been discovered in Apache CXF's JCA integration module, which can allow for code execution, if an attacker is able to manipulate the JCA deployment descriptor (ra.xml) or runtime activation parameters. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.2 or 4.1.7 or 3.6.12, which fixes this issue. |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-luks-pkcs11-askpin script writes the PKCS#11 token PIN in plaintext to a file without setting restrictive permissions. Under the default process umask, the file is world-readable. Additionally, the PIN file is not reliably cleaned up if the decryption script exits early, leaving the PIN accessible indefinitely. |
| A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-pkcs11-afunix-socket-unlock daemon logs LUKS disk encryption passphrases in plaintext to a log file. The log file is created without restrictive permissions, making it world-readable under the default process umask. A local attacker can read the log file to obtain the LUKS passphrase. |
| The PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.16.5 via the 'invoice_number (via document filename)' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract another customer's complete invoice PDF — including billing identity, shipping address, private order notes, line items, prices, dates, order ID, and invoice number — delivered directly to the attacker's email as an order confirmation attachment. Exploitation requires the plugin's yearly invoice number reset option to be enabled, and the attacker's guest-checkout order must trigger a processing email within 60 seconds of a victim order that shares the same yearly-reset invoice number. |
| A further incomplete fix for a previous advisory CVE-2026-44417 (Untrusted JMS configuration can lead to RCE) for Apache CXF has been identified, which can allow code execution capabilities, if untrusted users are allowed to configure JMS for Apache CXF. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.2 or 4.1.7 or 3.6.12, which fixes this issue. |
| A flaw was found in libsoup’s caching mechanism, SoupCache, where the HTTP Vary header is ignored when evaluating cached responses. This header ensures that responses vary appropriately based on request headers such as language or authentication. Without this check, cached content can be incorrectly reused across different requests, potentially exposing sensitive user information. While the issue is unlikely to affect everyday desktop use, it could result in confidentiality breaches in proxy or multi-user environments. |
| A flaw was found in busybox. The tar applet's deferred link-creation handling for symlink and hardlink entries with unsafe-looking targets does not validate that the resolved destination remains inside the extraction directory once the deferred link is created. An attacker can craft a tar archive using a symlink target of exactly '..' combined with a deferred hardlink to create a new file outside the extraction directory, or reuse an extraction directory across two archives to replace an existing file outside it. If the archive is extracted with elevated privileges, this flaw can lead to privilege escalation or arbitrary code execution. |
| The flat file database driver in Apache Openoffice versions through 4.1.16 allows a crafted document to read the contents of any local file without asking the user.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.1.17, which fixes this issue. |
| This issue was addressed with improved validation of symlinks. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2. An app may be able to break out of its sandbox. |
| http-cache-semantics through 4.2.0 fails to properly validate security-zeroed cache entries when processing client max-stale directives, allowing unauthenticated attackers to retrieve cached responses belonging to other users. Attackers can request the same URL with a large max-stale value to obtain another user's Set-Cookie session credentials from shared-cache entries that were deliberately zeroed for security reasons. |
| Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 returns the signing passphrase of an APT or YUM repository, through an internal REST endpoint, to a user account that holds only the read privilege for administering that repository. The account does not need the privilege to edit the repository. |
| Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 returns the private signing key of a YUM proxy or group repository to an account that holds only the read privilege for administering that repository. The account does not need the privilege to edit the repository. A party that holds the key can sign repository metadata as that repository. |
| Kyverno from 1.19.1 before 1.19.2 contains a namespace isolation bypass in APICall Fetch() in pkg/engine/apicall/apiCall.go because path.Clean treats '?' as a path character, letting the namespace regex match segments inside the query string. Users who can create namespaced policies can supply a URLPath like /api/v1/nodes?x=/namespaces/default/ that passes validation while client-go requests the cluster-scoped endpoint, reading resources outside their namespace. |
| Security issue in Desktop in Google Chrome on on Mac prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via crafted network traffic. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| A flaw was found in grub2. Grub's dump command is not blocked when grub is in lockdown mode, which allows the user to read any memory information, and an attacker may leverage this in order to extract signatures, salts, and other sensitive information from the memory. |
| A flaw was found in Samba. The smbd service daemon does not pick up group membership changes when re-authenticating an expired SMB session. This issue can expose file shares until clients disconnect and then connect again. |
| A flaw was found in Go. When FIPS mode is enabled on a system, container runtimes may incorrectly handle certain file paths due to improper validation in the containers/common Go library. This flaw allows an attacker to exploit symbolic links and trick the system into mounting sensitive host directories inside a container. This issue also allows attackers to access critical host files, bypassing the intended isolation between containers and the host system. |
