CVSS v3.1 |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Apache Juneau.
HTML document serialization does not HTML-encode variable substitutions in the page chrome (header, nav, aside, footer and similar fields). Applications whose chrome includes request-derived variables, such as request headers, form data or path values, reflect those values unencoded, allowing cross-site scripting. The default chrome does not use request variables, so only applications that add them are affected.
This issue affects Apache Juneau: through 9.2.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.1, which fixes the issue. |
| Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') vulnerability in OpenText OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) on Windows and Linux allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).
This issue affects OpenText Directory Services (OTDS): from 25.1 through 26.2. |
| Altair is a GraphQL client for all platforms. From 7.2.4 until 8.5.8, packages/altair-iframe-sandbox/src/main.ts reads plugin_sandbox_opts from the iframe-sandbox query string and passes attacker-controlled scriptUrls to injectScript() in packages/altair-core/src/utils/inject.ts, which creates script elements in the page. The intended parent iframe flow places the page in an iframe with sandbox allow-scripts and without allow-same-origin, but direct navigation to a crafted iframe-sandbox URL omits that isolation and executes the supplied script in the origin serving Altair. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL, and the resulting script can access script-readable storage and make same-origin requests according to the deployment's authentication and cookie controls. This issue is fixed in version 8.5.8. |
| OHIF Viewers is a zero-footprint DICOM viewer with shared extension packages. From 3.5.0-beta.0 until 3.12.15, 3.13.7, and 3.14.0-beta.19, the dicom-pdf extension reads the attacker-controlled MIMETypeOfEncapsulatedDocument value in extensions/dicom-pdf/src/getSopClassHandlerModule.js and uses it as the Blob media type for the attacker-controlled EncapsulatedDocument bytes. When a victim opens Encapsulated PDF SOP Class 1.2.840.10008.5.1.4.1.1.104.1, extensions/dicom-pdf/src/viewports/OHIFCornerstonePdfViewport.tsx embeds the Blob URL in an object element. A Blob labeled as HTML is handled as HTML despite the application/pdf object hint, and the Blob inherits the OHIF origin, allowing embedded script to access session storage, authentication tokens, and same-origin PACS requests. The malicious DICOM object may be opened locally, uploaded to a shared PACS, or supplied by a DICOMweb source. This issue is fixed in source versions 3.12.15, 3.13.7, and 3.14.0-beta.19. |
| Skyline DataMiner BrokerGateway contains an embedded API key vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the installation-specific BrokerGateway key even while pairing mode is disabled. Attackers can use the retrieved key to obtain the unrestricted DataMinerUser.creds NATS credential and gain trusted message-bus access via TCP port 4222 without any prior DataMiner credentials. Fixed in DataMiner 10.6.9 CU1, 10.6.0 CU7, 10.5.0 CU19, and 10.4.0 CU22. |
| Wanderer is a self-hosted trail database for saving and sharing adventures. Prior to 0.19.3, an authenticated user can store a crafted waypoint.icon value that createMarkerFromWaypoint() passes into FontawesomeMarker, where insertAdjacentHTML inserts the unvalidated value into map marker markup. Opening the affected trail map executes attacker-controlled script in the viewer's browser, which can expose session tokens or perform actions as the victim. Federated waypoint data can also reach the sink without a local account on the receiving instance. This issue is fixed in version 0.19.3. |
| Wanderer is a self-hosted trail database for saving and sharing adventures. Prior to 0.19.3, an authenticated local user can submit crafted waypoint.name and waypoint.icon values that the trail elevation graph interpolates into an innerHTML template in web/src/lib/vendor/maplibre-elevation-profile/elevationprofile.ts without HTML encoding or icon validation. A victim viewing the elevation profile executes the attacker-controlled script in their browser. Separately, federated waypoints can deliver the same malicious fields across instances without requiring the attacker to have a local account on the receiving instance. The script can expose session data or perform actions in the victim's context. This issue is fixed in version 0.19.3. |
| An authenticated cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the /spina/embeddable.rb component of Spina CMS v2.21.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via injecting a crafted URL. |
| Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the Editor component (@progress/kendo-react-editor) in Progress Software KendoReact versions 2.7.0 through 16.1.0 allows a low-privileged attacker who can supply Editor content to execute arbitrary JavaScript in another user's browser via a link with an unsafe URL in the Editor content, which runs when the user clicks the link. |
| Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the Menu component (@progress/kendo-react-layout) in Progress Software KendoReact versions 1.3.0 through 16.1.0 allows a low-privileged attacker who can influence the Menu item data to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the origin of the application via an unsafe URL in a Menu item, which runs when a user selects the item. |
| Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the Chat component (@progress/kendo-react-conversational-ui) in Progress Software KendoReact versions 0.6.0 through 16.1.0 allows a low-privileged attacker who can supply Chat messages to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the origin of the application via an unsafe URL in an openUrl quick action, which runs when a user clicks the action. |
| Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the Chat component (@progress/kendo-angular-conversational-ui) in Progress Software Kendo UI for Angular versions prior to 25.3.0 allows a low-privileged attacker who can supply Chat messages to execute arbitrary JavaScript in another user's browser via an unsafe URL in an openUrl quick action, which runs when the user clicks the action. |
| Improper neutralization of input in the sessions grid in Progress Telerik Fiddler Everywhere 8.3.0 and earlier allows an attacker to execute backend IPC commands by convincing a user to open a specially crafted SAZ file. |
| GoFound through 1.4.1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject scripts by submitting document text to /api/index. Attackers can index malicious HTML that searcher/engine.go returns unescaped and dashboard.vue renders with v-html, executing script in an administrator's browser when an admin search matches the document. |
| The MDJM Event Management and Mobile Events Manager WordPress plugins through 1.7.8.7 do not check a capability or a nonce before creating a WordPress role from a name supplied in the request, and store that name without escaping it, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to inject arbitrary web scripts which execute when an administrator opens one of the standard user management screens. |
| The Anti-Spam, Spam FireWall by CleanTalk WordPress plugin before 6.91 does not escape a commenter-supplied value before outputting it on an administrative spam-review screen, allowing unauthenticated users to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute in the browser of an administrator who reviews flagged comments. |
| The ShopEngine Gutenberg WooCommerce Builder Blocks Addon WordPress plugin before 2.4.4 does not validate the user's capabilities or the ownership of the targeted post in one of its AJAX actions, and does not escape the stored value before outputting it in a JavaScript context, allowing users with a role as low as contributor to inject arbitrary scripts into any post that will run when a higher privileged user edits it. |
| The GutenKit WordPress plugin before 2.5.5 does not properly sanitize custom CSS saved against a post before printing it inside an inline style block on the published page, allowing users with the Author role and above to break out of the style element and store JavaScript that executes in the browser of any visitor who views the post. Exploitation affects sites running WordPress below 7.0. |
| The Advanced Custom Fields (ACF®) WordPress plugin before 6.8.11 does not properly sanitize a stored field definition that can be modified through its comment handling, allowing unauthenticated users to inject a payload that is emitted as an HTML attribute name and executed as JavaScript in the browser of any visitor or administrator who views a page rendering the affected field. |
| The MCB WordPress plugin through 1.0.0 does not sanitise or escape request header values before storing them and later rendering them in the administrator statistics grid, allowing unauthenticated attackers to store malicious JavaScript that executes in an administrator's browser session when the statistics page is viewed. |
