| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows Error Reporting allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition vulnerability in Apache Tomcat when creating unix domain sockets for the APR/Native connector allows an unauthorised local user to access the unix domain socket. The fix for CVE-2026-65183 only addressed the NIO connector. It did not address the same issue in the APR/Native connector.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 9.0.47 through 9.0.122.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.0.123, which fixes the issue. |
| OpenReception's appointment booking software provides an end-to-end encrypted appointment booking platform. Prior to version 2.2.2, an attacker overbooks an agent, placing multiple appointments into a single time slot that the system is designed to keep exclusive. The number of overlapping appointments equals the number of concurrent requests, and one booking token is enough because the token is consumed after the insert. This results in the integrity of the booking-calendar breaking and availability being denied to other clients. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.2. |
| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. From version 4.5.126 to before version 4.6.59, PraisonAI's Async Jobs API validates webhook_url when a job request is parsed and again when the internal Job object is constructed. That validation blocks direct loopback/private targets, but it is not bound to the later network request. When a job completes, _send_webhook() passes the original hostname to httpx.AsyncClient.post() with no send-time validation, IP pinning, or guarded transport. An attacker-controlled hostname can therefore resolve to a public IP during Pydantic validation and later resolve to loopback/private/cloud-metadata infrastructure during webhook delivery. This bypasses the intended SSRF guard in current supported releases. This appears to be an incomplete fix / patch bypass for GHSA-8frj-8q3m-xhgm. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.59. |

| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.1, SoftReadWriteLock and AsyncSoftReadWriteLock cache a successful check of the <path>.rw lock tree and resolve its names again during later record operations, allowing another local user who can replace that tree after the first acquisition to redirect lock-record writes into directories writable by the lock user. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. |
| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.22.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock can break a stale marker after an attacker frees its own marker following the stale read, an honest contender creates a live successor on the reused inode, and the successor's modification time is not newer than the saved observation, causing the live marker to be removed and two holders to be admitted. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. |
| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.1, SoftFileLock versions from 4.1.0 can reuse a stale observation when an attacker pre-dates and removes its own marker, at least two lock-user processes are waiting, coarse or matching modification times preserve the observation, and an honest contender creates a fresh marker on the reused inode, causing that live marker to be removed as stale. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. |
| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. Prior to 4.2.1, UnixFileLock can truncate a regular file renamed onto the lock path when another local user has actual rename permission, or hard-linked there under a permissive hard-link policy; when an explicit mode is requested, affected versions from 3.10.2 can also change that file's mode. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: SEV: Use READ_ONCE() when reading entries/indices from PSC buffer
Use READ_ONCE() when reading entries/indices from the guest-accessible
Page State Change buffer to defend against TOCTOU bugs.
Don't bother with READ_ONCE()/WRITE_ONCE() for cases where KVM is writing
(and not consuming the result!), as the guest isn't supposed to touch the
buffer while it's being processed. I.e. using READ_ONCE() is all about
protecting against misbehaving guests. |
| AliasVault is a privacy-first password manager with built-in email aliasing. Prior to 0.30.3, the AliasVault server API favicon extractor validates a user-supplied hostname with a first DNS lookup but allows the HTTP client to perform a second DNS lookup when connecting. An authenticated low-privileged user operating an attacker-controlled authoritative DNS server can return a public address during validation and a private address during connection, causing a publicly reachable self-hosted server to issue HTTP or HTTPS requests to internal hosts. A valid image response is returned in Base64 form, while other responses can expose limited timing and error information for internal-network reconnaissance. Exploitation requires a publicly reachable self-hosted instance with public registration enabled, an authenticated AliasVault account, an attacker-controlled authoritative DNS server, and a resolver that permits rebinding; default checks limit requests to ports 80 and 443. The browser extensions, web application, and mobile applications are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.30.3. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mptcp: close TOCTOU race while computing rcv_wnd
The MPTCP output path access locklessly the MPTCP-level ack_seq
in multiple times, using possibly different values for the data_ack
in the DSS option and to compute the announced rcv wnd for the same
packet.
Refactor the cote to avoid inconsistencies which may confuse the
peer. Also ensure that the MPTCP level rcv wnd is updated only when
the egress packet actually contains a DSS ack. |
| boneIO Black contains a TOCTOU race condition in the create_timedatectl_sudoers_file() function in boneio/webui/routes/timezone_sudoers.py. The function writes sudoers rules to a predictable temporary file, validates them, then installs them with root privileges. A local attacker can exploit the race window between validation and installation to substitute malicious content, or use the predictable filename for symlink attacks, resulting in arbitrary sudoers rule injection and local privilege escalation to root.
This issue was fixed in version 1.6.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
parport: Fix race between port and client registration
The parport subsystem registers port devices before they are fully
initialised, resulting in a race condition where client drivers such
as lp can attach to ports that are not completely initialised or even
being torn down.
When the port and client drivers are built as modules and loaded
around the same time during boot, this occasionally results in a
crash. I was able to make this happen reliably in a VM with a
PC-style parallel port by patching parport_pc to fail probing:
> --- a/drivers/parport/parport_pc.c
> +++ b/drivers/parport/parport_pc.c
> @@ -2069,7 +2069,7 @@ static struct parport *__parport_pc_probe_port(unsigned long int base,
> if (!p)
> goto out3;
>
> - base_res = request_region(base, 3, p->name);
> + base_res = NULL;
> if (!base_res)
> goto out4;
>
and then running:
while true; do
modprobe lp & modprobe parport_pc
wait
rmmod lp parport_pc

for a few seconds.
In the long term I think port registration should be changed to put
the call to device_add() inside parport_announce_port(), but since the
latter currently cannot fail this will require changing all port
drivers.
For now, add a flag to indicate whether a port has been "announced"
and only try to attach client drivers to ports when the flag is set. |
