CVSS v3.1 |
| Urwid is a console user interface library for Python. Prior to 4.0.7, handle_short_request() in urwid/display/web.py performs unguarded character encoding on POST input and unguarded UTF-8 decoding on polling update socket output. A remote attacker who obtains a valid X-Urwid-ID session token can submit non-ASCII POST data that raises UnicodeEncodeError, while non-UTF-8 polling output raises UnicodeDecodeError, causing the CGI handler to return an error and terminate request processing. The POST exception path also leaves an opened file descriptor unclosed for the CGI process lifetime, so repeated requests can cause denial of service for the web display interface. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.7. |
| JupyterLab Desktop is the cross-platform desktop application for JupyterLab. Prior to 4.6.2-1, remote-server URLs were inserted into the server-selection dialog and Welcome view without safe encoding. An attacker who convinces a user to submit a crafted URL can execute JavaScript in the Welcome renderer and abuse its privileged IPC bridge to execute arbitrary code with the user’s privileges. The Welcome view also unsafely renders RSS news-feed titles; exploitation through this separate input path requires control over content delivered through the application’s Jupyter Blog feed or its cached feed data, rather than submission of a remote-server URL. This issue affects all supported platforms and is fixed in version 4.6.2-1. |
| Several memory vulnerabilities were identified within the OpenSC packages, particularly in the card enrollment process using pkcs15-init when a user or administrator enrolls cards. To take advantage of these flaws, an attacker must have physical access to the computer system and employ a custom-crafted USB device or smart card to manipulate responses to APDUs. This manipulation can potentially allow
compromise key generation, certificate loading, and other card management operations during enrollment. |
| A buffer overflow vulnerability in HPE Networking VIA could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to conduct a denial of service attack. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to interrupt the normal operation of the affected client. |
| A buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to cause a denial-of-service. |
| A vulnerability in Realtek's RtUsbA64.sys USB audio driver allows a physically present attacker using a maliciously crafted USB device to trigger unbounded recursion in the driver's topology-parsing logic during device enumeration. Processing the crafted descriptor exhausts the kernel stack and causes a system crash (bugcheck), resulting in a denial of service. No authenticated user session is required. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An attacker with memory write capability may be able to bypass pointer authentication codes and run arbitrary code. |
| Some docker-compose shipped by the project exposes by default Webadmin REST API publically without proper authentication setup.
Version 3.9.1 onward sets a random credential by default on unprotected webadmin endpoints to prevent this while retain convenience. |
| CallBackery versions before 0.62.0 for Perl allow log injection via newlines in the login name.
login() writes the login name to the application log without escaping control characters. The login RPC method needs no authentication, so a name containing a newline followed by text in the log record format adds a forged record.
An unauthenticated attacker can forge log records, such as a successful administrator login from an address of their choosing. |
| In multiple functions of PduParser.java, there is a possible persistent denial of service due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In multiple locations, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| HCL AION is affected by a vulnerability where user-controlled input could be included in HTTP response headers without proper neutralization of CR/LF characters. This may allow an attacker to inject headers or split responses, potentially resulting in unintended behavior or security impact under certain conditions. |
| WebDyne versions from 2.022 before 3.022 for Perl disclose application source to unauthenticated clients via the viewer in the default index page.
WebDyne's wrapper scripts, such as webdyne.psgi, enable the built-in index page by default. Its source viewer returns files under the document root named in the source parameter of an HTMX request, including .psp, .pm and .pl files.
A remote attacker can read the application's Perl code, including the __PERL__ blocks of .psp pages and any credentials they hold. |
| Improper isolation of shared resources in aws-network-policy-agent in Amazon EKS Network Policy Agent before 1.3.7 (VPC CNI before 1.22.3) might allow an authenticated adjacent user to bypass NetworkPolicy ingress enforcement on co-located pods via eBPF conntrack map poisoning using crafted AF_PACKET frames.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to Amazon VPC CNI Managed Add-on v1.22.3 or later (which includes Network Policy Agent v1.3.7). |
| A vulnerability was detected in libyal libvmdk. Affected by this vulnerability is the function libvmdk_descriptor_file_read_header of the file libvmdk/libvmdk_descriptor_file.c of the component Descriptor File Parser. The manipulation results in out-of-bounds read. The attack must be initiated from a local position. The exploit is now public and may be used. The patch is identified as 175d3fc0a0b961f362f16e7560a6169d7213e16b. It is best practice to apply a patch to resolve this issue. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in libyal libvmdk up to 3fdd7839758e9f44ef95e1dfccde8552b860a4fc. Affected is the function libvmdk_extent_table_get_extent_data_file_path of the file libvmdk/libvmdk_extent_table.c of the component Extent Data File Handler. The manipulation leads to memory corruption. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. This product uses a rolling release model to deliver continuous updates. As a result, specific version information for affected or updated releases is not available. The identifier of the patch is 175d3fc0a0b961f362f16e7560a6169d7213e16b. Applying a patch is the recommended action to fix this issue. |
| A Kafka broker that authenticates clients with SASL/OAUTHBEARER using the bundled JWKS-backed validator always verifies the JWT signature, but two further checks are only performed when explicitly configured:
- The issuer (iss) claim is verified only when sasl.oauthbearer.expected.issuer is set. When it is unset, a validly-signed token carrying the expected audience is accepted regardless of which issuer minted it.
- An audience (aud) claim is required only when sasl.oauthbearer.expected.audience is set. When it is unset, a validly-signed token that omits the aud claim is accepted. (A token that carries an aud claim is
still rejected when no expected audience is configured.)
Both options default to unset and have been documented as optional (Importance LOW) since KIP-768 (3.1.0).
Impact:
The exposure is realizable mainly in deployments whose JWKS endpoint serves signing keys for more than one issuer (a multi-tenant identity provider, an aggregated/shared JWKS, or shared signing keys): a token
minted for a different issuer, or a token lacking an audience, may be accepted to authenticate — potentially as a higher-privileged principal. In a single-issuer deployment where the provider controls the iss
claim and issues audience-scoped tokens, exposure is limited. The signature trust anchor remains enforced in all cases. This is distinct from CVE-2026-33557 (acceptance of unsigned/unvalidated tokens); here the
signature is validated and only the issuer/audience checks are not enforced by default.
Mitigation (all affected versions, no upgrade required):
Set both sasl.oauthbearer.expected.issuer (to your provider's exact iss value) and sasl.oauthbearer.expected.audience (to the audience(s) your brokers expect), per listener. Brokers that set these perform
exact-match issuer/audience checks and are not affected. Both have been available since 3.1.0.
Resolution:
- From Apache Kafka 4.4.0: a broker configured with a JWKS endpoint fails to start unless both sasl.oauthbearer.expected.issuer and sasl.oauthbearer.expected.audience are set (secure by default). Deployments that
intentionally do not restrict the issuer and/or audience may opt out per axis with sasl.oauthbearer.allow.unverified.issuer=true and/or sasl.oauthbearer.allow.unverified.audience=true. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
audit: add missing syscalls to read class
The "at" variant of getxattr() and listxattr() are missing from the
audit read class. Calling getxattrat() or listxattrat() on a file to
read its extended attributes will bypass audit rules such as:
-w /tmp/test -p rwa -k test_rwa
The current patch adds missing syscalls to the audit read class. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf, test_run: Subtract size of xdp_frame from allowed metadata size
The xdp_frame structure takes up part of the XDP frame headroom,
limiting the size of the metadata. However, in bpf_test_run, we don't
take this into account, which makes it possible for userspace to supply
a metadata size that is too large (taking up the entire headroom).
If userspace supplies such a large metadata size in live packet mode,
the xdp_update_frame_from_buff() call in xdp_test_run_init_page() call
will fail, after which packet transmission proceeds with an
uninitialised frame structure, leading to the usual Bad Stuff.
The commit in the Fixes tag fixed a related bug where the second check
in xdp_update_frame_from_buff() could fail, but did not add any
additional constraints on the metadata size. Complete the fix by adding
an additional check on the metadata size. Reorder the checks slightly to
make the logic clearer and add a comment. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
pmdomain: imx8m-blk-ctrl: Remove separate rst and clk mask for 8mq vpu
For i.MX8MQ platform, the ADB in the VPUMIX domain has no separate reset
and clock enable bits, but is ungated and reset together with the VPUs.
So we can't reset G1 or G2 separately, it may led to the system hang.
Remove rst_mask and clk_mask of imx8mq_vpu_blk_ctl_domain_data.
Let imx8mq_vpu_power_notifier() do really vpu reset. |
