CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in CIRCL's implementation of the FourQ elliptic curve. This vulnerability allows an attacker to compromise session security via low-order point injection and incorrect point validation during Diffie-Hellman key exchange. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: ctnetlink: use netlink policy range checks
Replace manual range and mask validations with netlink policy
annotations in ctnetlink code paths, so that the netlink core rejects
invalid values early and can generate extack errors.
- CTA_PROTOINFO_TCP_STATE: reject values > TCP_CONNTRACK_SYN_SENT2 at
policy level, removing the manual >= TCP_CONNTRACK_MAX check.
- CTA_PROTOINFO_TCP_WSCALE_ORIGINAL/REPLY: reject values > TCP_MAX_WSCALE
(14). The normal TCP option parsing path already clamps to this value,
but the ctnetlink path accepted 0-255, causing undefined behavior when
used as a u32 shift count.
- CTA_FILTER_ORIG_FLAGS/REPLY_FLAGS: use NLA_POLICY_MASK with
CTA_FILTER_F_ALL, removing the manual mask checks.
- CTA_EXPECT_FLAGS: use NLA_POLICY_MASK with NF_CT_EXPECT_MASK, adding
a new mask define grouping all valid expect flags.
Extracted from a broader nf-next patch by Florian Westphal, scoped to
ctnetlink for the fixes tree. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: x_tables: restrict xt_check_match/xt_check_target extensions for NFPROTO_ARP
Weiming Shi says:
xt_match and xt_target structs registered with NFPROTO_UNSPEC can be
loaded by any protocol family through nft_compat. When such a
match/target sets .hooks to restrict which hooks it may run on, the
bitmask uses NF_INET_* constants. This is only correct for families
whose hook layout matches NF_INET_*: IPv4, IPv6, INET, and bridge
all share the same five hooks (PRE_ROUTING ... POST_ROUTING).
ARP only has three hooks (IN=0, OUT=1, FORWARD=2) with different
semantics. Because NF_ARP_OUT == 1 == NF_INET_LOCAL_IN, the .hooks
validation silently passes for the wrong reasons, allowing matches to
run on ARP chains where the hook assumptions (e.g. state->in being
set on input hooks) do not hold. This leads to NULL pointer
dereferences; xt_devgroup is one concrete example:
Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0xdffffc0000000044: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI
KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000220-0x0000000000000227]

Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt
Fix it by restricting arptables to NFPROTO_ARP extensions only.
Note that arptables-legacy only supports:
- arpt_CLASSIFY
- arpt_mangle
- arpt_MARK
that provide explicit NFPROTO_ARP match/target declarations. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: usb: kalmia: validate USB endpoints
The kalmia driver should validate that the device it is probing has the
proper number and types of USB endpoints it is expecting before it binds
to it. If a malicious device were to not have the same urbs the driver
will crash later on when it blindly accesses these endpoints. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: usb-audio: Use correct version for UAC3 header validation
The entry of the validators table for UAC3 AC header descriptor is
defined with the wrong protocol version UAC_VERSION_2, while it should
have been UAC_VERSION_3. This results in the validator never matching
for actual UAC3 devices (protocol == UAC_VERSION_3), causing their
header descriptors to bypass validation entirely. A malicious USB
device presenting a truncated UAC3 header could exploit this to cause
out-of-bounds reads when the driver later accesses unvalidated
descriptor fields.
The bug was introduced in the same commit as the recently fixed UAC3
feature unit sub-type typo, and appears to be from the same copy-paste
error when the UAC3 section was created from the UAC2 section. |
| A Kafka broker using SASL/OAUTHBEARER with the default validator (sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class=DefaultJwtValidator) selects its implementation from configuration. When sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url is set, the validator verifies the JWT signature. When that URL is unset (the default) and no verification key resolver is supplied, DefaultJwtValidator silently falls back to ClientJwtValidator, which does not verify the JWT signature, algorithm, or issuer - and the broker starts with no warning or error. This is the residual of CVE-2026-33557, whose fix restored signature verification only on the path where the JWKS endpoint URL is set.
Impact:
A broker in this state accepts any structurally valid JWT, including "alg":"none" tokens. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can reach the listener can forge a token asserting any principal - including configured superusers - and gain full access to the cluster. Only brokers that enable SASL/OAUTHBEARER validation without a JWKS endpoint URL (and without a custom verification key resolver) are affected; brokers that set the URL verify signatures and are not affected. Unlike CVE-2026-110952 (issuer/audience not enforced by default), here no signature is verified at all.
Mitigation (all affected versions, no upgrade required):
Set sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url for every listener/mechanism that uses OAuthBearerValidatorCallbackHandler, or configure a signature-verifying sasl.oauthbearer.jwt.validator.class.
Resolution:
From Apache Kafka 4.2.2, 4.3.1, and 4.4.0: a broker that would fall back to the non-verifying ClientJwtValidator fails to start with a ConfigException instead of running without signature verification (secure by default). |
| Kyverno before 1.19.2 contains an unchecked type assertion in its variable-substitution engine that allows users who can submit resources to crash the policy engine. Attackers can submit resources with non-string fields referenced by {{- variable }} shallow substitution in policies, causing a panic that yields webhook denial of service and policy bypass under failurePolicy Ignore. |
| Wasmtime 47.0.0 before 48.0.4 and 49.0.0 before 49.0.2 contains an improper validation vulnerability that accepts components whose core modules import WebAssembly tags with a subtype of the original type. Malicious guests can mis-type exception object payloads to corrupt the GC heap, causing Wasmtime to panic when the exceptions proposal is enabled. |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions up to and including 6.5.2.202603, built with IPv6, the ICMPv6 option validator accepts an option area that ends in a one- or two-byte residue, and the Router Advertisement, Neighbor Solicitation, Neighbor Advertisement and Redirect handlers then walk it without length checks. A host on the local link can send one such message to make the IP thread read past the packet or loop forever, and can place off-packet memory in the neighbor cache. |
| CGI versions from 4.71 before 5.00 for Perl allow denial of service via a plain string dereferenced as a symbolic reference in uploadInfo.
uploadInfo dereferences its argument and calls its filename method without checking that it is an upload filehandle. A plain string naming a defined global variable, such as the parameter value from ?upload=0, is treated as a symbolic reference, and the method call on it dies. |
| A flaw has been found in Boost Serialization. The impacted element is an unknown function. This manipulation causes improper validation of specified type of input. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. The maintainer was notified on Aug 2025 and a disclosure deadline was set for 90 days. The maintainer acknowledged but postponed indefinitely citing time concerns. No patch is currently available and the disclosure deadline has expired. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu/userq: only accept doorbell BOs as queue doorbell
amdgpu_userq_get_doorbell_index() pins any BO passed as doorbell_handle
into the doorbell domain. For a regular BO, TTM moves it with
ttm_bo_move_null() and its contents are lost. Since an importer on the
same device gets the exporter's GEM object, a client can do this to a
buffer another client shared with it.
Reject BOs that were not created in the doorbell domain.
v2: drop the error message, use a local abo variable (Christian)
