CVE-2026-17409 1 Ibm 1 Api Connect 2026-11-07 9.4 Critical
IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote attacker to execute unauthorized administrative operations and obtain sensitive information due to improper handling of case sensitivity. Access controls are not applied consistently to all variations of a request, which could allow restricted operations to be reached.
CVE-2026-17085 1 Ibm 1 Api Connect 2026-11-07 4.1 Medium
IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions due to improper handling of case sensitivity. An access restriction is not applied consistently to all variations of the input, which could allow it to be circumvented and unauthorized emails to be sent.
CVE-2026-123012 1 Gogs 1 Gogs 2026-11-06 N/A
In Gogs 0.14.3, the Git Smart HTTP authorization layer in internal/route/repo/http.go allows a push when only read access was intended, a different vulnerability than CVE-2026-52810. This occurs because of a case-sensitivity desync between the authorization classifier and the request dispatcher: the gitHTTPIsPull function compares the Git action verb case-sensitively and defaults to pull (read access) for any unrecognized string, whereas the request dispatcher lowercases the same verb before routing it to the receive-pack handler. Capitalizing a single letter in the URL (e.g. info/Refs instead of info/refs, or git-receive-Pack instead of git-receive-pack) causes the classifier to misidentify a push as a pull, granting only read-level authorization, whereas the dispatcher routes it to the write handler. An authenticated read-only collaborator can exploit this to push to a private repository, creating, updating, or deleting refs.
CVE-2026-87876 2 Openprinting, Redhat 7 Cups, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 4 more 2026-11-06 3 Low
Two case-insensitive comparisons on request-derived usernames outside the main authorization path in CUPS's scheduler (printer ACL validation and private-attribute filtering) could allow bypass of username-based access controls in certain configurations.
CVE-2026-3832 2 Gnu, Redhat 11 Gnutls, Cert Manager, Discovery and 8 more 2026-11-06 3.7 Low
A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by presenting a specially crafted Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) response during a TLS handshake. Due to a logic error in how gnutls processes multi-record OCSP responses, a client with OCSP verification enabled may incorrectly accept a revoked server certificate, potentially leading to a compromise of trust.
CVE-2026-2239 2 Gimp, Redhat 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els 2026-11-06 2.8 Low
A flaw was found in GIMP. Heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists in the fread_pascal_string function when processing a specially crafted PSD (Photoshop Document) file. This occurs because the buffer allocated for a Pascal string is not properly null-terminated, leading to an out-of-bounds read when strlen() is subsequently called. Successfully exploiting this vulnerability can cause the application to crash, resulting in an application level Denial of Service.
CVE-2026-19611 1 Redhat 15 Apache Camel Quarkus, Build Keycloak, Build Of Apache Camel For Quarkus and 12 more 2026-11-06 7.4 High
A flaw was found in WildFly Elytron. Password hashing and verification normalize input with Unicode NFKC, which can collapse fullwidth characters to ASCII equivalents. A remote attacker can more easily guess affected passwords by using an ASCII-only dictionary against accounts whose passwords were intended to include those non-ASCII characters, leading to unauthorized access.
CVE-2026-46234 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock: fix buffer size clamping order In vsock_update_buffer_size(), the buffer size was being clamped to the maximum first, and then to the minimum. If a user sets a minimum buffer size larger than the maximum, the minimum check overrides the maximum check, inverting the constraint. This breaks the intended socket memory boundaries by allowing the vsk->buffer_size to grow beyond the configured vsk->buffer_max_size. Fix this by checking the minimum first, and then the maximum. This ensures the buffer size never exceeds the buffer_max_size.
CVE-2026-31778 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-06 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: caiaq: fix stack out-of-bounds read in init_card The loop creates a whitespace-stripped copy of the card shortname where `len < sizeof(card->id)` is used for the bounds check. Since sizeof(card->id) is 16 and the local id buffer is also 16 bytes, writing 16 non-space characters fills the entire buffer, overwriting the terminating nullbyte. When this non-null-terminated string is later passed to snd_card_set_id() -> copy_valid_id_string(), the function scans forward with `while (*nid && ...)` and reads past the end of the stack buffer, reading the contents of the stack. A USB device with a product name containing many non-ASCII, non-space characters (e.g. multibyte UTF-8) will reliably trigger this as follows: BUG: KASAN: stack-out-of-bounds in copy_valid_id_string sound/core/init.c:696 [inline] BUG: KASAN: stack-out-of-bounds in snd_card_set_id_no_lock+0x698/0x74c sound/core/init.c:718 The off-by-one has been present since commit bafeee5b1f8d ("ALSA: snd_usb_caiaq: give better shortname") from June 2009 (v2.6.31-rc1), which first introduced this whitespace-stripping loop. The original code never accounted for the null terminator when bounding the copy. Fix this by changing the loop bound to `sizeof(card->id) - 1`, ensuring at least one byte remains as the null terminator.
CVE-2026-84177 1 Apache 1 Wicket 2026-11-06 N/A
Incorrect behavior order in Apache Wicket: a file path is validated before the framework appends the attributes that complete it. org.apache.wicket.request.resource.PackageResource asks the configured package resource guard about a path built from the scope class' package and the file name in the request URL, and then hands that same path to the resource stream locator together with a style, a variation and a locale. Those three attributes are decoded from the name of the first query parameter and never appear in the string the guard was given. org.apache.wicket.core.util.resource.locator.ResourceNameIterator appends them to that path, each preceded by an underscore, in the order variation, style, locale, before the file extension, so the file that is opened is not the file the guard approved. org.apache.wicket.markup.html.PackageResourceGuard decides whether an HTML file is a component's markup template by looking for a class file of the same name beside it, stripping one underscore-delimited suffix at a time as it goes. HTML is on the default allow list, so that check is the only thing separating a static HTML file, which may be served, from a markup template, which may not. Asked about the name of a template, the guard refuses it correctly. Asked about a shorter name for which no class exists, it accepts, and a style supplied in the URL then completes that name into the markup template of a component class, which is written to the response. An application is affected if the simple name of any of its component classes contains an underscore and no shorter part of that name is itself a class, such as Report_v2 or Wizard_Step1; an application with no such class name is not affected. No unusual deployment, packaging or configuration is required, and running in deployment rather than development mode does not prevent it. Java naming conventions discourage underscores in class names and no module Wicket ships has one, so no framework markup is exposed; what an application exposes this way is its own. A component whose class name has no underscore is not reachable, and neither is its localized or styled markup, because the guard finds the class file under the base name and refuses the request. The attributes cannot change the file extension and cannot leave the component's package, so nothing beyond HTML files in that package is reachable. Access is read-only, and what is disclosed is developer-authored template content: component structure, developer comments, markup that is rendered only under some conditions, inline script, and the endpoints a template names. No user data, credential or session material is reachable this way. An attacker has to name a class in the target package and the component itself, and Wicket writes fully qualified class names into the URL of every package resource it renders. This issue affects Apache Wicket: from 8.0.0 through 8.19.0, from 9.0.0 through 9.24.0, from 10.0.0 through 10.11.0. Users of Apache Wicket 7.x or older, which are no longer supported, should upgrade to a supported version. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 8.20.0, 9.25.0 or 10.12.0, which fix the issue.
CVE-2026-116135 1 Libwww-perl 1 Http-body 2026-11-05 9.8 Critical
HTTP::Body versions before 1.23_01 for Perl drop mixed-case percent escapes from urlencoded form fields instead of decoding them. The decode table holds only the all-lowercase and all-uppercase spelling of each hex pair, while the escape pattern matches either case. An escape such as %aB finds no entry and is replaced with nothing, joining the bytes on either side. Hex digits in percent escapes are case-insensitive, and conforming decoders return the byte. A remote attacker can send a field name or value that a conforming decoder in front of the application reads differently, so that pass%aBword reaches the application as password.
CVE-2026-3833 2 Gnu, Redhat 17 Gnutls, Cert Manager, Discovery and 14 more 2026-11-05 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in gnutls. This vulnerability occurs because gnutls performs case-sensitive comparisons of `nameConstraints` labels, specifically for `dNSName` (DNS) or `rfc822Name` (email) constraints within `excludedSubtrees` or `permittedSubtrees`. A remote attacker can exploit this by crafting a leaf certificate with casing differences in the Subject Alternative Name (SAN), leading to a policy bypass where a certificate that should be rejected is instead accepted. This could result in unauthorized access or information disclosure.
CVE-2026-116265 1 Perl 1 Mime::field::paramval 2026-11-05 5.3 Medium
MIME::Field::ParamVal versions before 5.521 for Perl do not flag an ambiguous multipart boundary written as RFC 2231 continuations. The boundary ambiguity checks look only at a plain boundary= parameter, and a boundary split into RFC 2231 sections (boundary*0=, boundary*1= and so on) is joined after they have run. A repeated section number is concatenated rather than reported as a duplicate. From version 5.518, an encoded word or trailing whitespace in such a boundary also goes unflagged, although multipart_boundary() decodes or strips it. A remote sender can make MIME::Parser split a message on a different boundary than other mail readers, hiding an attachment from a filter that relies on ambiguous_content() while the recipient's mail client shows it.
CVE-2026-73856 1 Modsecurity 1 Modsecurity 2026-11-05 8.6 High
ModSecurity is an open source, cross platform web application firewall (WAF) engine for Apache, IIS and Nginx. From 3.0.0 until 3.0.17, src/transaction.cc compares a response Content-Type value against SecResponseBodyMimeType entries case-sensitively. A mixed-case response media type that is semantically equivalent to a configured lowercase type can therefore be treated as unconfigured, causing ModSecurity to skip RESPONSE_BODY inspection. An unauthenticated requester can then receive response content that a phase 4 rule would otherwise block, including sensitive error or debug data. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.17.
CVE-2026-85287 1 Sysadminsmedia 1 Homebox 2026-11-05 6.5 Medium
HomeBox is a home inventory and organization system. Prior to 0.27.0, POST /api/v1/users/register and the users.email uniqueness constraint treat email addresses as case-sensitive while HomeBox uses a case-insensitive login lookup. An unauthenticated attacker who knows a victim's email can register a differently cased variant, creating duplicate rows that cause login to return 401 for both variants and deny the victim access, while also bypassing the one-account-per-email policy. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.0.
CVE-2025-4035 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 4.3 Medium
A flaw was found in libsoup. When handling cookies, libsoup clients mistakenly allow cookies to be set for public suffix domains if the domain contains at least two components and includes an uppercase character. This bypasses public suffix protections and could allow a malicious website to set cookies for domains it does not own, potentially leading to integrity issues such as session fixation.
CVE-2026-121943 1 Irontec 1 Sngrep 2026-11-05 4.8 Medium
Irontec sngrep through 1.9.0 contains an out-of-bounds stack read vulnerability in sip_check_packet and sip_validate_packet caused by an off-by-one length check on 10240-byte SIP payloads. Remote attackers can send a crafted UDP or TCP SIP packet or supply a pcap file to crash sngrep or leak adjacent stack bytes into displayed SIP fields.
CVE-2026-93903 1 Litespeedtech 1 Litespeed Web Server 2026-11-05 N/A
LiteSpeed Web Server (LSWS) before 6.3.7 build 1 mishandles internal redirect URL validation in a certain "corner case" of %252e%252e double decoding, letting a low-privileged tenant execute code in the context of a different account.
CVE-2026-63121 1 Kubewarden 1 Policies 2026-11-05 6.3 Medium
Kubewarden policies is a collection of WebAssembly policies for securing and governing Kubernetes clusters. For versions provisionally classified as affected before 2.1.2, `trusted-repos-policy` compares an image's `registry` hostname against `reject lists` and `allow lists` case-sensitively even though `registry` DNS names are case-insensitive. An image with an uppercase or mixed-case `registry` hostname can miss a rejection rule for the equivalent lowercase host, so the admission policy accepts a resource whose container runtime pulls the same prohibited image. Only reject-list configurations have this bypass: allow-list configurations fail closed by over-denying differently cased hostnames. The security consequences depend on the configured rejection policy and deployment environment. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.2.
CVE-2026-42010 2 Gnu, Redhat 18 Gnutls, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 15 more 2026-11-04 7.1 High
A flaw was found in gnutls. Servers configured with RSA-PSK (Rivest–Shamir–Adleman – Pre-Shared Key) wrongfully matched usernames containing a NUL character with truncated usernames. A remote attacker could exploit this by sending a specially crafted username, leading to an authentication bypass. This vulnerability allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access by circumventing the authentication process.
