CVSS v3.1 |
| IRISPowerscan contain an insecure default
configuration where the built-in installation account is assigned elevated
privileges with a predictable password, which could allow an unauthenticated
attacker to gain unauthorised access to privileged application functionality. |
| In HPE Cray Programming Environment versions 25.03 and 25.09, prior to 26.03, the method that CPE is deployed on HPCM potentially allows elevated access by a local unprivileged user. |
| An arbitrary file write vulnerability exists in the Virtual Intranet Access (VIA) client. Successful exploitation could allow a local attacker with low privileges to escalate privileges on the affected system. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics product of Oracle Supply Chain (component: Installation Issues). The supported version that is affected is 3.6.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics executes to compromise Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Product Lifecycle Analytics accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.5 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N). |
| Local privilege escalation in `SmartUpdate.exe` and `SmartExecute.exe` in INFINITT Healthcare Co., Ltd. INFINITT PACS allows a local low-privileged attacker to execute arbitrary commands with administrator privileges via modification of a world-writable `execlist.txt` command manifest that is processed during application updates. |
| Incorrect permissions on the Checkmk Windows agent's data directory, caused by a race condition that discards the permission changes during service start, in Checkmk <2.5.0p18, <2.4.0p39, <2.3.0p52 and 2.2.0 (EOL) allow a local user to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM by placing scripts in the agent's plugins or local folders, and to read the agent controller's private key. |
| A weakness has been identified in kubescape up to 4.0.15. Impacted is the function GetWriter of the file core/pkg/resultshandling/printer/printresults.go of the component Output. Executing a manipulation of the argument outputFile can lead to permission issues. The attack requires local access. Upgrading to version 4.0.16 is recommended to address this issue. This patch is called d90f77314c7d4f2b53cf2425844bde2315bd26d2. Upgrading the affected component is advised. |
| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From version 3.30.0 until version 4.2.1, StrictSoftFileLock and AsyncStrictSoftFileLock on POSIX systems create coordination and claim directories without applying the caller’s restrictive lock mode. A permissive umask or inherited default ACL can leave these directories writable by another local user, allowing that user to delete an active holder’s claims. Another authorized process can then acquire the lock while the original holder remains in its critical section. An attacker can also plant malformed claims to prevent acquisition. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. |
| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.10.0 until 4.2.1, filelock on Windows ignores the mode argument for WindowsFileLock files and the ReadWriteLock SQLite database. A lock created with mode=0o600 receives the parent directory's inheritable ACL because _open_non_reparse_fd and _nt_open do not create an owner-only security descriptor. Another local account with inherited access can read holder metadata or the lock database, modify those files where the ACL permits writes, or take the byte-range lock after release and delay later acquisitions. UnixFileLock is not affected, and mutual exclusion between cooperating processes continues to hold. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: reject new transactions if the fs is fully read-only
[BUG]

rescue mount options, which leads to the following warnings during
unmount:

Since rescue mount options will mark the full fs read-only, there should
be no new transaction triggered.
But during unmount we will evict all inodes, which can trigger a new
transaction, and triggers warnings on a heavily corrupted fs.
[CAUSE]
Btrfs allows new transaction even on a read-only fs, this is to allow
log replay happen even on read-only mounts, just like what ext4/xfs do.
However with rescue mount options, the fs is fully read-only and cannot
be remounted read-write, thus in that case we should also reject any new
transactions.
[FIX]
If we find the fs has rescue mount options, we should treat the fs as
error, so that no new transaction can be started. |
| A flaw was found in firewalld. A local unprivileged user can exploit this vulnerability by mis-authorizing two runtime D-Bus (Desktop Bus) setters, setZoneSettings2 and setPolicySettings. This mis-authorization allows the user to modify the runtime firewall state without proper authentication, leading to unauthorized changes in network security configurations. |
| In onNullBinding of HostEmulationManager.java, there is a possible way to launch an activity from the background due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation. |
| GFI KerioConnect (Kerio Connect) Outlook Connector (Offline Edition), 'KOFF', before 10.0.9 Patch 2 contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability caused by weak installer permissions that leave the product directory writable by the built-in Users group. A local non-administrative attacker can replace the searchd.exe service binary used by the bundled KOFFIndexingService, which runs as LocalSystem, to execute arbitrary code with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges upon the next service start or reboot. |
| A container privilege escalation flaw was found in certain Red Hat Process Automation Manager images. This issue stems from the /etc/passwd file being created with group-writable permissions during build time. In certain conditions, an attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, can leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container. |
| A flaw was found in Podman. If an attacker can pass a crafted tar archive to the `podman load` command, they can create files on the host machine with the privileges of the user running Podman. |
| A flaw was found in libvirt. External inactive snapshots for shut-down VMs are incorrectly created as world-readable, making it possible for unprivileged users to inspect the guest OS contents. This results in an information disclosure vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability was recently discovered in the rpc.mountd daemon in the nfs-utils package for Linux, that allows a NFSv3 client to escalate the
privileges assigned to it in the /etc/exports file at mount time. In particular, it allows the client to access any subdirectory or subtree of an exported directory, regardless of the set file permissions, and regardless of any 'root_squash' or 'all_squash' attributes that would normally be expected to apply to that client. |
| The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in Safari 17.5, iOS 16.7.8 and iPadOS 16.7.8, iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5, macOS Sonoma 14.5, tvOS 17.5, watchOS 10.5. An attacker with arbitrary read and write capability may be able to bypass Pointer Authentication. |
| The Dokan WordPress plugin before 5.3.3 does not reconcile the amount credited to a vendor's reverse-withdrawal ledger against the amount actually collected for the payment order, allowing a vendor to clear their outstanding commission debt while paying less than the balance owed when a discount coupon is applied at checkout. |
| A vulnerability was found in Unbound due to incorrect default permissions, allowing any process outside the unbound group to modify the unbound runtime configuration. If a process can connect over localhost to port 8953, it can alter the configuration of unbound.service. This flaw allows an unprivileged attacker to manipulate a running instance, potentially altering forwarders, allowing them to track all queries forwarded by the local resolver, and, in some cases, disrupting resolving altogether. |
