CVE-2025-38385 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: lan78xx: fix WARN in __netif_napi_del_locked on disconnect Remove redundant netif_napi_del() call from disconnect path. A WARN may be triggered in __netif_napi_del_locked() during USB device disconnect: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 11 at net/core/dev.c:7417 __netif_napi_del_locked+0x2b4/0x350 This happens because netif_napi_del() is called in the disconnect path while NAPI is still enabled. However, it is not necessary to call netif_napi_del() explicitly, since unregister_netdev() will handle NAPI teardown automatically and safely. Removing the redundant call avoids triggering the warning. CVE-2024-56751 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: release nexthop on device removal The CI is hitting some aperiodic hangup at device removal time in the pmtu.sh self-test: unregister_netdevice: waiting for veth_A-R1 to become free. Similar to commit f5b51fe804ec ("ipv6: route: purge exception on removal"), we need to explicitly release the originating fib info when disconnecting a to-be-removed device from a live ipv6 dst: move the fib6_info cleanup into ip6_dst_ifdown(). Tested running: ./pmtu.sh cleanup_ipv6_exception in a tight loop for more than 400 iterations with no spat, running an unpatched kernel I observed a splat every ~10 iterations.
CVE-2024-56545 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-11-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: hyperv: streamline driver probe to avoid devres issues It was found that unloading 'hid_hyperv' module results in a devres complaint: ... hv_vmbus: unregistering driver hid_hyperv ------------[ cut here ]------------ WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 3983 at drivers/base/devres.c:691 devres_release_group+0x1f2/0x2c0 ... And the issue seems to be that the corresponding devres group is not allocated. Normally, devres_open_group() is called from __hid_device_probe() but Hyper-V HID driver overrides 'hid_dev->driver' with 'mousevsc_hid_driver' stub and basically re-implements __hid_device_probe() by calling hid_parse() and hid_hw_start() but not devres_open_group(). hid_device_probe() does not call __hid_device_probe() for it. Later, when the driver is removed, hid_device_remove() calls devres_release_group() as it doesn't check whether hdev->driver was initially overridden or not. The issue seems to be related to the commit 62c68e7cee33 ("HID: ensure timely release of driver-allocated resources") but the commit itself seems to be correct. Fix the issue by dropping the 'hid_dev->driver' override and using hid_register_driver()/hid_unregister_driver() instead. Alternatively, it would have been possible to rely on the default handling but HID_CONNECT_DEFAULT implies HID_CONNECT_HIDRAW and it doesn't seem to work for mousevsc as-is.

CVE-2026-99034 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 2.3 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: sdhci-sprd: disable runtime PM on remove sdhci_sprd_probe() enables runtime PM, while sdhci_sprd_remove() does not perform the corresponding runtime PM cleanup. The probe failure path disables runtime PM before disabling the clocks, but the normal remove path directly disables clocks that are also managed by the runtime PM callbacks. If the device is runtime suspended, those clocks may already be disabled. Resume the device before removal, disable runtime PM and drop the temporary runtime PM reference before disabling the clocks. This issue was found by manual code inspection.
CVE-2026-98944 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-30 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: steam: Refactor registration This refactors and simplifies the registration/unregistration flow. Since we now only perform registration when the client isn't opened anymore, the logic for handling that can be removed, and the rest of the function streamlined. We also remove the previous assumption that we have a serial number to show we're registered, replacing it with a single purpose boolean. In a previous refactor the code for unregistering a battery if later registration steps failed was accidentally left out. As a result, a lingering power_supply object could get left over after the steam object was torn down. This is also fixed here.
