CVSS v3.1 |
| In JetBrains Hub before 2026.2.52556 privilege escalation was possible by changing email authentication details during the verification flow |
| IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information due to improperly controlled modification of object attributes. A user-supplied value could change an access-related setting that should be controlled by the system, which could expose sensitive information. |
| IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code due to improperly controlled modification of object attributes. A user could set a field that should only be controlled by the system, which could lead to code execution. |
| The Symfony Serializer component ObjectNormalizer treats any attribute name containing . (and, from Symfony 6.4, [) as a writable property path, allowing untrusted input to modify properties of nested objects and bypass their #[Ignore] metadata attribute in Symfony versions 5.4.41 prior to 5.4.56, 6.4.9 prior to 6.4.50, 7.0.9 prior to 7.1.0, 7.1.2 prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11.
ObjectNormalizer::isAllowedAttribute() accepts such names, and setAttributeValue() hands the name straight to PropertyAccessor::setValue(), which parses it as a property path and traverses into the nested object. A payload key such as customer.admin writes to $order->customer->admin. The #[Ignore] metadata attribute is only consulted when the nested object is denormalized in its own right, never when it is reached through a path. #[Groups] restrictions are not bypassed: the path is only accepted when no groups are passed in the context, and then groups restrict nothing. When the root class carries neither #[Ignore] nor #[Groups], no allowlist applies and every key of the payload is let through. Because PropertyAccessor also resolves a path segment against public methods, a segment matching a public method name invokes that method with the attacker’s value.Applications that bind untrusted input to objects are affected, including controllers using #[MapRequestPayload] or #[MapQueryString], whose default normalizer is ObjectNormalizer. With OBJECT_TO_POPULATE, as used for partial updates, the traversal reaches an already hydrated entity graph, and the modified field may be persisted.
The fix accepts a property path only when the class metadata declares an attribute of that exact name. Declared paths keep working unchanged, and a path in the payload with no matching declaration is ignored. |
| Craft CMS from 5.8.17 before 5.11.2 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability because getOwners() applies caller criteria without cleansing the query configuration. Authenticated control panel users can invoke attacker-selected static PHP callables via crafted criteria to promote every account to administrator. |
| Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes vulnerability in Drupal Monster Menus allows Object Injection. This issue affects Monster Menus versions: from 0.0.0 to 9.5.6. |
| Joi 17.13.6 before 17.13.9 and 18.2.5 before 18.3.1 contains a prototype pollution vulnerability in lib/messages.js compile() and merge() that fails to reject a __proto__ language key. Attackers supplying untrusted message configuration via any().messages(), prefs, validate options or Joi.extend can replace the compiled messages prototype, altering or breaking validation error rendering and dependent logic. |
| SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, the V8 write path checks that a field exists but does not enforce api-visible or sensitive metadata that hides the same field on reads. The affected flow begins at PATCH /Api/V8/module and uses user_hash, external_auth_only, api-visible: false, and sensitive: true to carry attacker-controlled data or authorization state into the security-sensitive operation. An authenticated user can mass-assign internal authentication fields, modify password hashes or external-authentication flags, and persist unauthorized account access. This issue is fixed in versions 7.15.2 and 8.10.2. |
| GraphQL Tools provides utilities for building, stitching, and mocking GraphQL schemas. From 10.10.1 until 12.0.2, the @graphql-tools/utils mergeIncrementalResult helper passes incrementalResult.path segments to setObjectKeyPath without runtime primitive-type validation. A non-primitive segment can bypass strict comparisons against __proto__, constructor, and prototype, then be coerced during property access so a malicious or compromised upstream incremental GraphQL response writes attacker-controlled properties to Object.prototype in the consuming Node.js process. The affected implementation is packages/utils/src/mergeIncrementalResult.ts and is reachable when consumers merge untrusted @defer or @stream transport results. This issue is fixed in version 12.0.2. |
| A user with permission to edit contact points but not their protected fields can change protected settings, such as a contact point's destination URL, by switching an integration to a legacy schema version, which can expose stored credentials and redirect alert notifications (incorrect authorization). |
| i18next is an internationalization framework for JavaScript. Prior to version 26.3.4, `deepExtend` in `src/utils.js` checks property existence with the in operator and recurses into inherited built-ins reached through `Object.prototype`. An application must explicitly pass attacker-controlled resource data to `addResourceBundle(lng, ns, data, deep, overwrite)` with both `deep: true` and `overwrite: true`. Source keys such as `hasOwnProperty`, `toString` and `valueOf` can then select shared inherited built-in function objects, and a nested value can overwrite a property of those objects process-wide. For example, making `Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty.call` non-callable causes subsequent uses, including i18next internals, to throw TypeError, resulting in unrecoverable denial of service and limited integrity impact. The `__proto__`/`constructor` guard does not prevent this mechanism because the corruption target is an inherited built-in function rather than the prototype object itself. Default calls without deep merging or with overwrite falsy are unaffected, and no standard i18next backend or integration uses the vulnerable configuration. This issue is distinct from the setPath/key-walking prototype-pollution flaws in i18next-fs-backend (CVE-2026-48713) and i18next-http-middleware (CVE-2026-48714). This issue is fixed in version 26.3.4. |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the forge.http client stored cookie names and paths from Set-Cookie response headers in ordinary JavaScript objects. A malicious server could use the cookie name __proto__ so that the attacker-controlled cookie path was written as a property on Object.prototype, or use inherited names such as constructor to modify Object. An empty cookie value could use the removal path to delete an inherited Object.prototype property. Applications using forge.http directly or through forge.xhr are affected; applications that do not use forge.http are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. |
| MacCMS v10 through 2026.1000.4056 contains a mass assignment vulnerability in index/Comment::saveData() that allows unauthenticated attackers to set arbitrary mac_comment columns including user_id. Attackers can submit anonymous comments with a crafted user_id parameter to attribute them to any registered member, displaying that member's avatar and impersonating them. |
| Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 6.1.0 until 11.4.9, 12.6.1, and 3.1.0, Highcharts follows dot-separated series.keys paths without filtering each segment. An attacker who controls series.keys and matching point data can use a path through __proto__ to assign arbitrary named properties to Object.prototype. Those properties are visible to all JavaScript in the page, and no user interaction is required beyond rendering the chart. This issue is fixed in 11.4.9, 12.6.1, and 3.1.0. |
| systeminformation is a System and OS information library for node.js. Prior to 5.33.13, networkStats(ifaces) in lib/network.js on FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and NetBSD stores per-interface data in the plain-object _network cache and indexes it with the sanitized caller-controlled interface name. Passing proto causes the inherited Object.prototype value to be used instead of creating an own cache entry, so calcNetworkSpeed() writes rx_bytes, tx_bytes, rx_sec, tx_sec, ms, last_ms, and operstate onto Object.prototype. The polluted property names are fixed and their values come from interface statistics, but inherited-name collisions and enumerable keys can corrupt application branching, serialization, configuration merging, validation, or lookup behavior. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.13. |
| A vulnerability was found in PostgreSQL. This attack requires permission to create non-temporary objects in at least one schema, the ability to lure or wait for an administrator to create or update an affected extension in that schema, and the ability to lure or wait for a victim to use the object targeted in CREATE OR REPLACE or CREATE IF NOT EXISTS. Given all three prerequisites, this flaw allows an attacker to run arbitrary code as the victim role, which may be a superuser. |
| DoraCMS through 3.1.0 contains a mass assignment vulnerability in the PUT /api/v1/user/api-keys/:id endpoint that allows authenticated low-privileged users to rebind their API key to another user's account. Attackers can set the userId field on their own key to a victim's id, then act as that victim to modify profiles and publish or delete content. |
| Postiz signs its session, invitation and password reset tokens with one shared secret and without any marker of what a token is for. A route that refreshes the credentials of a browser-extension channel signed data taken from the request itself and stored the result where the requesting user can read it back. A user could therefore obtain a validly signed token containing any claims they choose, which the application accepts as a session, as an organization invitation with a chosen role, as a password reset or as an enterprise provisioning token.
A second, narrower route that creates team invitations signs extra fields from the request body in the same way. |
| Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes vulnerability in Drupal Block AJAX allows Object Injection. This issue affects Block AJAX versions: from 0.0.0 to 3.0.2. |
| Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 1.0.0 until 4.2.2, Highcharts Dashboards edit mode walks editableOptions propertyPath segments without rejecting prototype-related keys. An attacker who controls editableOptions can provide a path through __proto__ or constructor, and a user's edit writes the configured value onto Object.prototype. The property then becomes visible to JavaScript throughout the page, with consequences determined by the consuming application. This issue is fixed in 4.2.2. |
