| CVE-2026-82330 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the file-pvr plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted PVR image file, the VQ (compressed) decoder does not properly perform memory bounds checking. This missing validation results in a heap out-of-bounds read. This issue can result in an application crash, leading to a denial of service or a limited information disclosure of heap memory contents. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82328 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the file-ico plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted ICO image file, the plugin does not properly validate the used_clrs (palette count) parameter. This incorrect validation leads to improper memory bounds checking, resulting in a heap out-of-bounds read. This issue can result in an application crash, leading to a denial of service or a limited information disclosure of heap memory contents. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82324 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the file-iff (IFF/ILBM) plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted IFF/ILBM image file, the plugin does not properly validate the HAM row size and improperly handles cases where the number of color planes (nPlanes) is zero. This causes a row size mismatch that bypasses memory bounds checking, resulting in heap out-of-bounds reads. This issue can result in an application crash, leading to a denial of service or a limited information disclosure of heap memory contents. | ||||
| CVE-2026-80101 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 4.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the file-xwd plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted XWD image file, the plugin validates the image width and bytes-per-line parameters independently rather than ensuring their combined values are consistent with the allocated buffer size. This incorrect validation leads to improper bounds checking, causing a heap out-of-bounds read. This issue can result in an application crash, leading to a denial of service or a limited information disclosure of heap memory contents into the produced image. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78475 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the file-pix (ESM) plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted PIX image file, the plugin allocates a Variable-Length Array (VLA) on the stack without proper bounds checking, causing an unbounded stack allocation followed by a 21-byte stack over-read. This can result in a denial of service due to stack exhaustion and a limited information disclosure of stack memory contents into an intermediate file. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78322 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in file-roller. When opening or extracting a malicious 7z or RAR archive containing a file entry with an excessively long path, file-roller's progress-line parsing copies the path into a fixed-size stack buffer using an unbounded string copy. This can trigger a stack buffer overflow and cause file-roller to terminate, resulting in a denial of service. To exploit this flaw, a victim must open or extract the crafted archive using file-roller. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75900 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-11-06 | 6.1 Medium |
| An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in swtpm's SWTPM_NVRAM_CheckHeader() function. The entry guard checks the buffer length against sizeof(bh), where bh is a pointer, instead of sizeof(*bh), the actual struct size. This allows an undersized buffer to pass validation, causing a 2-byte heap overread on 64-bit systems (6 bytes on 32-bit) when accessing the totlen field. This may cause daemon termination on some platforms and leaks heap data to the log. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75883 | 2 Ppp Project, Redhat | 3 Ppp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 6.8 Medium |
| A flaw was found in pppd. A remote attacker could exploit a buffer overflow vulnerability in the PEAP response handling. By sending a specially crafted PEAP Request packet, an attacker could cause the pppd process to corrupt global static data, leading to incorrect behavior or a system crash. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75032 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 6.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in BlueZ. Insufficient validation of packet length fields in GetFolderItems responses within the Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) implementation allows a malicious Bluetooth device within range to cause an out-of-bounds memory read. This vulnerability, affecting the parse_media_element() and parse_media_folder() functions, can lead to a crash of the bluetoothd daemon, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). It could also potentially expose sensitive heap memory contents. Exploitation requires user interaction to pair with the malicious device. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92695 | 1 Pavel-odintsov | 1 Fastnetmon | 2026-11-06 | 8.2 High |
| FastNetMon is a high-performance DDoS detector and sensor. In version 1.2.9 and earlier, the live parse_packet() callback in src/pcap_plugin/pcap_collector.cpp is registered through pcap_loop and processes captured frames when pcap = on without checking packethdr->caplen. A short frame or an attacker-controlled IPv4 header length can make the parser dereference IP or transport headers beyond the captured bytes, causing an out-of-bounds read and process termination. No fixed release is available as of this review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92697 | 1 Pavel-odintsov | 1 Fastnetmon | 2026-11-06 | 7.5 High |
| FastNetMon is a high-performance DDoS detector and sensor. In version 1.2.9 and earlier, the NetFlow v9 collector calls strlen() on an attacker-controlled interface-description field without bounding the scan to the field’s declared length. Although fields longer than 128 bytes are excluded from this operation, an accepted field without a null terminator can cause reads beyond the field and packet buffer. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can send crafted UDP packets to the collector can trigger an out-of-bounds read and potentially crash the process, causing denial of service. No fixed release is available as of this review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-123269 | 1 Libyal | 1 Libvmdk | 2026-11-06 | 3.3 Low |
| A vulnerability was detected in libyal libvmdk. Affected by this vulnerability is the function libvmdk_descriptor_file_read_header of the file libvmdk/libvmdk_descriptor_file.c of the component Descriptor File Parser. The manipulation results in out-of-bounds read. The attack must be initiated from a local position. The exploit is now public and may be used. The patch is identified as 175d3fc0a0b961f362f16e7560a6169d7213e16b. It is best practice to apply a patch to resolve this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115942 | 1 Apache | 1 Qpid Proton-c | 2026-11-06 | 7.5 High |
| A misconfigured wildcard TLS certificate causes a stack read overflow. This issue does not affect any wildcard certificate issued to the RFC9525 standard - the fix only accepts certificates that comply to this standard. This issue affects Apache Qpid Proton C: through 0.40.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.41.1, which fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-116784 | 1 Signalwire | 1 Freeswitch | 2026-11-06 | 7.5 High |
| FreeSWITCH is a Software Defined Telecom Stack enabling the digital transformation from proprietary telecom switches to a software implementation that runs on any commodity hardware. Prior to 1.11.2, process_rtcp_report() used an RTPFB NACK packet's declared RTCP header length as its feedback-entry loop bound instead of the datagram length already validated by the caller. A short packet with an oversized declaration could drive reads far beyond the fixed 16 KiB receive buffer. Any peer able to send RTCP to an active video call can reach the flaw, including calls where remote SDP enables video RTCP even though the SIP profile has no explicit RTCP interval configured. The out-of-bounds read can crash FreeSWITCH and terminate every active call, but supplies no write primitive and does not echo the read values to the sender. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-65584 | 1 Imaginationtech | 1 Graphics Ddk | 2026-11-05 | 7.8 High |
| Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct improper GPU system calls causing a stack overflow in the kernel. The overflow occurs when processing resolved Linux/Android fence synchronization checkpoints, while user checkpoints are excluded from the stack array. Successful exploitation can cause kernel memory corruption and typically results in a denial-of-service condition through a kernel crash. The code vulnerability is a buffer write beyond the allocated array on the stack caused by copying excessive data from an internal buffer. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92693 | 1 Pavel-odintsov | 1 Fastnetmon | 2026-11-05 | 8.2 High |
| FastNetMon is a high-performance DDoS detector and sensor. In version 1.2.9 and earlier, parse_raw_packet_to_simple_packet_full() in src/simple_packet_parser_ng.cpp dereferences ipv6_extension_header_fragment_t when IpProtocolNumberIPV6_FRAG is present without first verifying that the eight-byte Fragment header remains. A crafted sFlow v5 RAW_PACKET_HEADER record can remotely reach this shared parser with the Fragment bytes omitted, causing an unauthenticated remote out-of-bounds read. The supplied harness detects the read under AddressSanitizer, but the advisory does not establish a production process crash. No fixed release is available as of this review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92698 | 1 Pavel-odintsov | 1 Fastnetmon | 2026-11-05 | 8.2 High |
| FastNetMon is a high-performance DDoS detector and sensor. In version 1.2.9 and earlier, process_sflow_flow_sample() in src/sflow_plugin/sflow_collector.cpp passes the attacker-controlled sflow_raw_protocol_header_t.header_size to parse_raw_packet_to_simple_packet_full() as its trusted captured length without comparing it with the bytes remaining in the record. An inflated header_size creates a false end pointer beyond the received sFlow v5 UDP buffer, defeating the nested parser's bounds checks and causing an unauthenticated remote out-of-bounds read and process crash, with possible limited exposure of adjacent bytes through parsed flow fields. No fixed release is available as of this review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73583 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 6.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sblim-sfcb. A local attacker with access to the system can exploit an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in the provider-manager's inter-process communication (IPC) message parsing. By sending a specially crafted message, the attacker can cause out-of-bounds memory access, leading to the termination of the provider-manager process and a denial of service. This could also potentially result in limited unintended information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71222 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Gfs2-utils, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 5.3 Medium |
| A heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in gfs2-utils. The ea_num_ptrs field from on-disk extended attribute metadata is consumed without bounds validation, causing a heap buffer over-read that may disclose sensitive memory contents or cause a crash when processing crafted GFS2 filesystem images. | ||||
| CVE-2026-70368 | 2 Redhat, Stunnel | 3 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els, Stunnel | 2026-11-05 | 6.5 Medium |
| A stack-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the "s_vlog" function of stunnel, when handling oversized log messages via "vsnprintf". A remote attacker with network access to a stunnel service can send protocol inputs that trigger a log message longer than 1024 bytes, leading to an out-of-bounds stack read and a potential crash. In certain corner cases, the same vulnerability could be used to replace a series of trailing "\n" characters with "\0". | ||||
